It is what it is. It is a place for MEN to soak in a cool tub. It is a place for MEN to soak in a hot tub. It is a place for MEN to relax in a steam sauna. It is a place for MEN to relax in a dry sauna. It is a place for MEN to exchange massages. It is a place for MEN to relax enjoying TV And free water, sodas and some sort of food. On the days I’ve been, one day the food was fried KFC, one day foot long hot dogs, one day sandwiches. Always have doughnuts.
Parking in lot. Two nearby light-​rail stations. Friendly staff. $ 25 entry. Secure lockers by front door with staff. Showers have shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc. Towels provided.
A fun time. Relaxing, as well.

So I thought I’d found a gem in Sacto after a long day of lifting boxes and setting up displays at the Convo Ctr… I was SORE and there is not a Steam Room or Jacuzzi to be FOUND anywhere downtown (the city needs a Burke Williams)…
The hot tub was wonderful — then I tried the steam room, where I found about six guys who were in flagrante delicto.
Not MY cup of relaxation but I’m not judging — just avoiding.

I have to stick up for Oasis. It is unfair for the young woman below to give such a low rating when the place isn’t made for her. Its unfortunate that Oasis has to get a low review because she couldn’t find a Korean Spa that catered to women. It’s not necessarily a wank place. Ms Angie, I have to tell you, your beautiful friends do not want to be back there and its not because there’s anything shady going on. It’s because a bunch of OLLLLLD dudes are walking around with their junk out. Fancier places in L.A. give you a t-​shirt to walk around the co-​ed spots. It’s hard to expect a small place on La Riviera having those luxuries. If you’re a guy, and you want to sit in spas, saunas, and get a very painful skin scrub. This is the place. If you’re a woman, it is not but feel free to send your husband. The only hands that will be on him belong to a sadistic old asian guy scrubbing dead skin cells and what feels like some muscle tissue off his body.

After not being able to get any info online (they have no website), I decided to drop in to pick up a brochure. My friends and I had been talking about doing a girls day at the korean spa, and I was the ringleader of the planning committee. However, as soon as I opened the door to walk in to the place for more info, I could tell something was «up.»
Before I could finish asking for a brochure I was told that they don’t «do women.» They only «do men.» Hmmmmm… I’ll let the readers decide what that means.
Needless to say I was disappointed to find out that this is not an actual Korean spa.
