I think I am past the point of these cheap mani/pedis. I have been coming here off and on for 15 years, but this will be my last visit for a long time. They’ve never been the best, but they were always adequate for the price. I only came in today because I had gel polish on my toes and I’m 9 months pregnant and couldn’t get it off myself so I decided a pedicure was in order. I have a wonderful nail place that I go to in Roseville, but this one is close to home so I figured good enough. The girl who did my pedicure was the only one there and did not speak any English really. It was hard to explain at first that I currently had gel on, but just wanted regular polish now. She was very nice though. She did not wait long enough for the polish remover to work on the gel and filed the polish away. She scraped/cut one of the top of my toes and there would have been more had I not told her that she was hurting me. She apologized and was more gentle, but my toe is still burning. She did give me a very long leg massage, which I truly appreciated being 9 months pregnant. She didn’t rush through any process of the pedicure, but then again I was the only person there the entire time. Usually when I come here I like to see Nancy. I would not come back and see anyone else at this point, but I am not coming back for 2 reasons. During my extra long leg massage I began noticing bugs crawling around on the floor of the chair next to me. I pointed them out, she laughed. As they got closer to my chair I noticed they were cockroaches. I picked my purse up off the floor. I certainly do not need to take any bugs home from this place. And now as I am writing this I am charged an extra 5 dollars for removing the gel polish, which is not listed on their price board. The removal that broke my skin and hopefully hasn’t left me with a nasty infection. That’s another thing her version of cleaning the tools she used was pouring some remover on them over my feet into my soaking tub. Holy moly the hits just keep on coming. She just put my flip flops on me without asking, leaving the paper towels between my toes and now she’s messed up my big toe which she was quick to put on another top coat, but you know that’s not going to fix it. This was the worst pedicure ever. Bad communication, injuries with possible infections, overcharged for the service, and COCKROACHES!!! Never again!

I’ve been going here for years. It’s not fancy but it’s inexpensive and clean. The staff is very friendly. It allows me to afford my frequent pedicures.

I’ve been coming here for 13 years and love this place! Nancy is the best. Give her a try. You won’t regret it!

Worst mani-pedi ever. Didn’t know how to file and had to be told to clean under the nail… Pretty scary.

David did my nails after I had a horrible job elsewhere. He is not very social and grunts a lot, and ignores attempts at conversation. However, my nails look great. Good shaping, good cuticle work, and he saved my new full pink and white set. Only three stars because the place was a little dirty and he was a little rude. I am disabled temporarily and no one offered to help with the door or anything. No response at all to thank you or have a nice day. I will go back but not for a relaxing«spa» experience, only for nice nails.

I have been going here since I first moved to sacramento and I have never had any complaints. It doesnt matter which woman I sat down with, they always give a great massage and they actually remember me and ask questions about my friends and family! Granted it is not the day spa experience, but I always know that when I walk in 10 minutes before they close, they will stay open for me and they will be pleasant about it(which has never been the case when I have gone to the day spa)! Prices are awesome and I have never had a bad mani or pedi there… and to the folks out there complaining about $ 10 haircuts need to realize that you get what you pay for. Dont like it? Go pay the $ 75 you should have paid in the first place and quit the bellyaching!

it is ok for the type of place that it is. I go to get my hair cut there with my brother and my daughter. I ask for the same girl every time cus she is the only one who understands what kind of layers i want. it is always cheap, $ 10 and very fast. Ive been there about 4 times now. I took my daughter there one time to get her knots combed out an her hair cut short, they havent forgotten that day but it cost $ 15. I went again 4 days ago. the usual girl wasnt there but i let them cut my daughters hair. she wanted it short and layered and had a picture. the girl gave my child a mullet, horrible! she also charged me double for it.

This is not a spa experience, but it doesn’t come with spa prices attached either. My sister and I have been taking advantage of walk-in pedicures at OP on and off for years. Recently I decided to give in and get gel nails(my sister tells me it’s age that’s ruining my once decent claws – thanks sis!) because my long time self manicures are just impossible now and I was hatin’ on my own hands. I had them done at a salon near where I lived that I had also used for walk-in service in the past; big mistake! I ended up shaping the nails myself, and the nail technician actually argued with me about applying a second coat of polish. The nails were thick and not natural looking, as I had hoped. My sister reminded me of OP, so I went there for the first fill, and Nancy has been maintaining them ever since. She not only responds to my requests, but people actually think the nails are real. Pretty good for a $ 21 initial investment!

My daughter and I went to this place, I went in for a fiberglass fill price was $ 16 and also got a pedicure done price was $ 18. The service was really great. I would defiantly go back. My nails came out way better then the high priced nail salons.

Okay so two reviewers didn’t like it… My daughter and I went to this place for the first time yesterday and didn’t walk out with bloody cuticles or anything of the sort. First of all, if you are looking for the big fancy shmancy spa experience, this isn’t the place. Especially, if you want that type of environment and want to pay a super cheap price, you are really smokin crack. This place is SMALL, very typical in terms of décor of what most people would classify as a «chop shop». However, it was clean, the pedicure area had comfy chairs and they use the portable plastic tub things to soak your feet. Which I prefer, and so should you, because these can actually be cleaned and sanitized properly, unlike the basins that are attached to the ground. Those tubs need to soaked for 15 mins or longer in a disinfecting solution in between patrons. How many of those places do that, when they’re busy? The girls here wore gloves, the place was clean, they did a thorough job and best of all it was $ 18 bucks. I have been to the super day spas, and I can tell you that the cucumber water and the meditation music is not worth paying 50 bucks for a pedi. I don’t mind, the no conversation, gals who need to eat next to you, or talk in their native tongue.

The only good thing is that you can get a quick pedicure for $ 17. That’s it.

It depends on when you go on what kind of service you get. Once I found a lady I liked, I always wait for her. But it’s decent in price. Downfall is that it sometimes smells like food because the employees eat at a station near you.
