This place is on my route home so I like to stop here for a quick fried chicken stop! I’ve never had problems thus far & my order is always accurate. I love to get the family packs or sometimes they have 11 pieces for like 12.99. Other than that I do find it to be a little pricey but nothing beats their crispy, moist fried chicken. :) oh & the biscuits?! Let’s not get started on those little hunks of greatness.

Food: The food is OK. I think it’s just the food recipe overall for Popeye’s, the skin is a little hard and the chicken wasn’t as spicy as I remembered it was before. The biscuit is OK, could be softer but isn’t too bad. I LOVETHEIR cajun fries though, it has the crispiness and saltiness to it. It didn’t get soggy either once I got home after driving for almost 10 minutes. The corn on the cob was plain, so I could do without it. Service: The ladies who helped me with my order was so nice. The cashier did not rush me and the manager even pointed out the deals they had, but weren’t posted. I was given enough sauces, w/o them being skimpy at all. The manager was really nice and packed everything so nicely in a plastic bag to go. Restaurant is clean inside and out. Price: I bought a 20 piece meal w/two sides and five biscuits and it was just $ 21. Pretty good deal.

Ok so I wanted Popeyes chicken so bad and I just remembered that this one was over here. I’ve never been to this one before, and this one time I am going through the drive through. So I’m looking at the menu and~ Girl: Can I help you? Me: Ok give me a few minutes please. Girl: What can I get for you?(Really loud) Me; One minute please. So once I’m ready ~ Me; yes I’m ready. Girl; Can you wait a minute! Me: Sitting waiting for someone to take my money that I don’t even want to give it too. Lol, all I could do was laugh and thinking to myself do I want chicken this bad. They wanted $ 7.19 for two pieces after taxes I’ll be done pay $ 9. bucks for two pieces of chicken and I just couldn’t do it, so I ended up just buying the family meal 8 piece with biscuits and 1 side and an added another side and sent $ 19. bucks. So buying the family meal was without a doubt the way to go. It’s amazing how its seems like it is so difficult to find good help nowadays. Alright I pull up to the window to pick up my order and the girl drops some of my change(2 cents) and she’s looking around on the floor for the pennies and then she gets my food and hands it to me. But I guess since she drop the pennies on the floor and couldn’t find them it was old well for me. Go figure! So I told her its ok if you can’t find my change its only 2 cents. And she just looks at me with no responses. I’m thinking like really! Please let me be clear, It difinently was not about the pennies! Too many people need jobs to have to deal with this kind of service. And to think I went out my way to come get this chicken! They were very lucky I wanted Popeyes chicken today! But I think I drive in the other direction next time I want Popeyes.. They got two stars because I’m in the holidays spirit.

Compared to the other chicken places Popeyes has the best and most fresh chicken around! This is the only chicken place my husband will eat at.

The service moves fast, and I’ve had no problems here. Good solid chicken. The spicy chicken is good. Overall, it’s a good chicken joint. I haven’t tried anything else, and I’ve only had the chicken.

Went thru the drive thru. The service was average~ nothing special. Ordered a 3pc tender meal with fries. The fries were cold and hard as though they has been sitting all day. My coke had hardly any carbonation. One of my tenders had a sour taste I couldn’t eat this meal which was overpriced to begin with $ 7.99+ tax!!! Totally not worth it! Popeye’s you have lost a customer.

Worst customer service ever. The drive thru workers are a joke and obviously don’t value the customers or their jobs.

This was ridiculous! First we had to wait about 15 minutes for our food after the worker said 8 minutes. Then they gave us the wrong order! I was really disappointed with this Popeye’s

I’m always skeptical when it comes to a fast food chain place but this place, this location was hands down the best fried chicken I’ve had in a long time. Originally I was just coming here to pick something up for a coworker of mine who is craving chicken and biscuits and I thought why not I would get the same thing. She finally decided that she wanted to get the popcorn shrimp meal it was such a great deal had a lot to offer inside the box. I order the two piece chicken mild, wish I had gone with the hot just to kick it up a notch. They informed me that it would take about 5 minutes because they were in the middle of cooking a fresh batch of fried chicken. I’m happy I waited, the skin was so crunchy and the chicken was so fresh I just wanted to keep eating good thing I started just two pieces. The biscuit I had was also really good and fluffy and I enjoyed it with some butter and honey on it. The only thing I’d say I was dissatisfied with was the mac and cheese it was just mediocre which is something I would expect from a fast food place. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who is interested in having fresh fried chicken as they are new and still seem to be trying to learn how to pace their chicken load. Which if you think about it is a good thing because then you have to worry about chicken that’s been sitting there for hours or minutes and minutes or whatever to get cold and stale. There was a time when a gentleman did walk in and he wanted a 15 wings and had to wait 15 minutes but the manager was nice enough to charge the gentleman a more cost-effective price and getting him or chicken for less based on what he was coming in for.

I came here ordered the 9 pieces chicken, the chicken was ok it wasn’t bad nor the best either. My favorite fried chicken is still jollibee. As for the price it’s decent. I will be back if I’m too lazy to drive down the street to jollibee.

I was pretty stoked to finally try Popeyes for the first time ever. my love for fried chicken turned to ehh :/I ordered the 9 mixed pieces for $ 9 and it was pretty disappointing. The pieces were small and way too greasy compared to KFC and Church’s chicken. However the good thing about their chicken was that it was pretty moist. Whew good thing it was a dollar a piece. The biscuits weren’t the greatest. It had no crisp and flavor. Overall the chicken & biscuits were decent.

I’m not the biggest fried chicken fan, but once in a blue moon it sounds okay. My boyfriend wanted Popeye’s so we drove to the closest location, which also happens to be new. It’s located in the same complex as SF Supermarket so there’s plenty of parking. The drive-thru looked a little backed up and we weren’t sure what we wanted, so we went inside to order. Because the restaurant is new, the establishment was very clean and modern. There were decorative jars filled with spices creating a partition between the cashier/line and dining area. The menus are electronic screens that play videos of their specials and whatnot — I thought this was pretty fancy. We saw an advertisement for their«$ 3.99 Daily Meal Deals» and thought that was the best/cheapest option since it was just the two of us. We went on a Sunday, which happens to be the best deal(in my opinion). You get to choose which two pieces of chicken you would like, unlike Monday when you get one breast or Tuesday when it specifies you get a leg and thigh. I chose two thighs mild spice, and my boyfriend chose one thigh and one leg spicy. It comes with a biscuit and an option of fries or mashed potatoes with gravy — we both got mashed potatoes. You can also add a drink for $ 1.19 but we passed. My boyfriend added an extra biscuit and we got a regular side of rice and beans to share. The cashier was friendly and all the other workers were busy. No one was just standing around, which I appreciated. When we received our food we asked for hot sauce, butter, and honey. The worker gave us plenty of each. When we got home to eat, our order was correct and everything was still hot. The chicken was juicy and the skin was crispy. Mild for me was spicier than I imagined… or maybe I’m just used to bland KFC? Not sure if children would like the mild spice though. There was enough gravy on the potatoes and the biscuit tasted perfect with the drizzle of honey. The rice and beans weren’t as flavorful as the other food, so I probably wouldn’t order it again in the future. Overall, the experience was positive and I would return to this location again in the future.

Very friendly Staff, pretty unkept was in need of everything being refilled. Very expensive !!! Portions were extremely small. The chicken strips were not strips but more like thin nuggets. Overall disappointing !!

Location is awesome, however the customer service and the quality of the food are not that great. It’s a luck of the draw you get what you get either the food is good that day or it’s terrible same goes for the customer service.

First time trying Popeyes. Ordered the two piece meal. It comes with two pieces, one biscuit, one side order, and 22oz drink. For $ 6.99. Fried chicken(ordered mild, they also ofer spicy) was super crispy, tender inside, delicious flavor., non greasy… Coles slaw was slightly bland, KFC has better cole slaw as it is sweeter with a vinegar bite. Biscuit, nice and soft, yummy with honey and butter. Service was friendly and polite, very fast drive throu. No onion rings sold here. Fair price, awesome fried chicken., big portions, huge size drink. I prefer them instead of KFC… I’m sold! Will hopefully be able to dry their battere fried seafood one day.

This place… I went and ordered 2 of their on special family meal deals. you get chicken of course and 2 large sides and five biscuits That’s a total of 4 large sides and 10 biscuits because again I ordered 2 of them. I also ordered a gallon of their sweet tea. There where a lot of cars behind me so I asked the drive through attendant if that was everything… She assured me it was so I went home. I get home I’m missing all 10 of my biscuits and a large side… I go back they correct the order and I go home… I’m still missing 5 biscuits and my sweet tea is not sweet its regular unsweetened tea… Awesome. Never going to that location again.

After watching this place close down and renovate slowly from Weinerschnitzel to Popeye’s, it looks pretty darn good! I came here on the week of grand opening because this is my favorite fried chicken spot! I am a regular at the one on Stockton Blvd. And never really cared for the second newer Popeye’s off Calvine. This one I have been to twice and both times great customer service with smiles. I am also very glad they have the tuesday deal, 1.99 for leg and thigh because Stockton Popeye’s doesn’t have it and only Calvine does but it gets super packed from the college students. Inside seems very nice through the drive thru. I am a fan of this so far, hope they continue to prosper well!!! Keep up the smiles and great customer service employees!

It’s about your average Kentucky Fried Chicken to make a comparison. The food is pretty oily and I can’t eat too much of it. Chicken sizes are smaller than KFC too. The sides are pretty decent… The one thing I did like were the biscuits.

Driving back and forth on Mack Rd. during my daily commute to work gets to be pretty monotonous and mundane. But when I noticed a new bright yellow and orange building had suddenly sprung up replacing the old Wienerschnitzel location, I suddenly found renewed interest at what was going on during it’s construction. After realizing that a new Popeyes was going to be conveniently located along my drive home, I have to admit, I was getting pretty excited that one of my favorite fast food restaurants was going to be easily accessible whenever I want! The other Popeyes on Stockton Blvd. was OK, but was a little out of my way and depending on the traffic, not as easy to exit the lot. After strategically watching this new place gather in a lot of business without much effort, I noticed that the drive thru would often get backed up with a long line of cars. I decided that very soon I would try them out by eating inside the dining area. The parking lot is spacious and I could check out the interior décor at least once. The day finally arrived after several hints over the last few weeks of coaxing Joe K. to go with me to this Popeyes, to which he eventually agreed. Turns out that this new business on the block made a nice impression on the both of us! We were greeted by friendly employees who efficiently took our orders and had it ready in minutes! We got the ¼ pound spicy Popcorn Shrimp combo that included a biscuit, drink and your choice of sides. We always get the red beans and rice which has always been a traditional favorite meal on my dad’s side of the family. Not exactly how my grandma used to make it, but it’s a delicious second! Joe and I enjoyed a leisurely dinner in the dining room while good old fashion Cajun zydeco music and New Orleans Dixieland jazz playing in the background. This was a very nice addition to the already attractive décor that one wouldn’t expect for a fast food restaurant. However the quality of the food DID fulfill my expectations as being cooked just the way I like it! Now the hard part will be keeping my Popeyes cravings under the fat and calorie control!
