This may be a better downtown alternative than the 9th Street location facing Caesar Chavez Park

This location was only ever so-so, but now they are closed.

I’m surprised at all the bad reviews. I enjoy their sandwiches and their service. It is hard to believe they got an order wrong if they are making the sandwiches right in front of you so I’m skeptical at some of the reviews. Try their lobster sandwich– its really good. Aside from that, their sandwiches don’t really stand out. Average place, decent taste, friendly service.

Ordered a full meal online two hours before closing, and the store sent a notification that they accepted my order. The money was charged to my card… and then the food never came. The next day I called back to ask from my money back and the person who answered was not apologetic, seemed to think it was probably my fault somehow for ordering too close to closing(TWOHOURS before closing) and allowed that he could call the ordering company they use and try and refund the money. Will not be ordering again.

This place never lets me down, i leave happy and full and it never fails to make me the best sandwich ever! I LOVE this location because it is very easy to walk down from downtown plaza or from Dive Bar. Excellent customer service!

I thought Quizno’s was a decent place to get a cheap sandwich. And then I came HERE. Ugh. This place is filthy, overcrowded at lunchtime, and there is no place to sit. They have NEVER gotten my order exactly right, and twice I have gotten entirely the wrong item! The worst, however, are the complete idiots who work there. In general the person working the register is competent, but they are visibly exasperated by the morons actually making the sandwiches. They must hire them as they stumble, drunk, off the Greyhound bus that brought them there from the dregs of the Central Valley.

My girlfriend ranted and raved about Quizno’s. So the easy going soul that I am, I ate there… 4 times. Not once did I think to myself, «That was delicious!» I’ve tried the sandwiches and the salads. They toast their sandwiches… great. They put all the fixings on them… great. They have no flavor, and neither do the salads. Sadly the only thing I enjoy at Quizno’s is the pepperoncini’s! Sorry, hon — no more Quizno’s! *holding ‘on strike’ sign*

This is the home of one of the nastiest sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I didn’t get sick from it, but it was just all wrong. The meat/cheese/topping ratio was all off kilter. The best thing about this dining experience was that I was able to get a soda and chips.
