$ 5 for the biggest washer, and 6 minutes per quarter for the dryers. The facility is decent. Went late Monday night and there was only one other lady there. WiFi, magazines, change machine, and a vending machine for detergents, should you forget to bring your own.

I have the feeling that California Laundry uses the fact that they are located in River Park to get away with some«slippage». The place is more expensive than any of the laundromats in midtown or downtown, but the machines are certainly nothing special. The dryers are, in fact, a darn rip-off! Every dryer I used in the place was sub-standard — after 20 minutes of drying(3 dryers) my clothes were still quite damp. Very frustrating.

DONOTUSETHISLAUNDROMATUNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCES. I have been living in East Sacramento for the majority of my life and have never, ever, experienced the level of rudeness this business has to offer. I have been frequenting this establishment on and off for many years, and have often brought large loads of laundry. While washing my clothes tonight, I stepped out to get some air, and the door locked behind me, with 4+ loads of clothes in the dryers still. When I called the number listed on the store’s sign to find out WHY I was locked out, I was met with an extremely unfriendly woman who basically told me off for using her precious establishment to dry my clothes. I was nothing but polite and simply inquired about why I had been locked out from using the dryers. I won’t be back after I return to get my clothing in the morning. Hopefully, as the other person mentioned in these Unilocal reviews, they won’t be in the dumpster. I would hope, that if you were truly interested in running a business, you would treat it like one, and not punish people for using your establishment. What shameful, rude, awful service. DONOTFREQUENTTHISLAUNDROMAT — It’s a disgrace to the wonderful neighborhood that is River Park.

I love this place! I use the laundry service and it is SO convenient to just drop off bags of icky crumpled laundry and then pick it up later all folded beautifully and clean. They take great care of my clothes here… highly highly recommend!

I enjoyed the WiFi here — but the place was absolutely freezing cold… to the point of being uncomfortable. I may try again — but next time with more layers on.

Fast, friendly service and a nice gal too. We got one down and one faux sheep comforter done and she did them both for a great price. My comforter duffle got washed too for no extra, an unexpected bonus. We’ll be back for sure.

Let me start by saying that I hate doing laundry. HATE it. And I hate the fact that my apartment complex doesn’t have a quarter machine in the laundry room. Those few precious quarters I have are reserved for the stupid metered parking all over sac. After creating a massive laundry pile(possibly full of laundry monsters) in my apartment, I decided that it was time to find a laundromat. This place is clean, it is safe, the staff is super friendly(they even remember my name!), and there is free wi fi. I can leave my stuff for a little while, and I feel safe doing that. I’ve only been there a couple times when it has been pretty busy, and even then I could still get my laundry done. They also provide a wash and fold service at $ 1/lb($ 10 minimum) that I take advantage of when I am super busy. For as long as I don’t have a washer/dryer and am in the Sac area, I’ll be coming here. I resent doing laundry a little less these days(but I still don’t like it).

i can’t believe i’m about to reveal one of my best kept secrets… for all those looking for a super clean, quarter machine isn’t always out-of-order, you can leave your laundry in 3 washers and it’s still there the next day(true story), pretty empty before and after peak hours, dependable laundromat– this is the place. i schlep my 4 baskets of laundry from arden-arcade to here just so i can take over 4 or 5 machines(yep that’s me sorry) and get it done in about 1.5 hours. free wi-fi, pepsi machine, and pac-man(if it’s still there) a definite, added bonus

The new owners have made our River Park laundromat a very nice place to get the job done. No more watching the dryer turn… now you can enjoy your time at the laundromat because It has a flat screen TV and toys for the kids. There are tables and chairs too so bring your computer and study or catch up on emails while you wait for your laundry. The restroom and floors are clean now! There is money in the change machine now! It’s right down the street from Sac State and a few stores down from the Fire Café for a snack. Much better than your average laundry experience — Thank you to the new owners for improving our neighborhood laundromat.
