Just met a friend for brunch there for the first time yesterday and it was so nice! My friend goes there often so she highly recommended it. Nice atmosphere inside and out and we really enjoyed dining on the patio with the waterwall feature, so pretty. The service was great as was our food and coffee that they were prompt to refill. A nice little gem in the Land Park area as from the front it does not look like much though once you go inside it is a calm and comfortable place to enjoy with friends and family.

I’m not quite sure why this place is so popular. I’ve been here a few times(first review) and it’s always been very underwhelming. I keep thinking, «it’s gotta get better than this, right?» Well I was wrong. My family of four dined here for dinner on May 25th. When we arrived we were seated right away in a booth by the bar. Our server, Chris came by within a few mins to bring our waters. Things were starting out good, we ordered one entrée from the kids menu and three from the regular menu. The kids meal came with a choice of fountain drink or milk. We choose milk for him. Well he didn’t get regular ol milk, but a cup of half and half. Really, half and half. It was so thick and gross. Even his kids pizza was gross and burnt. My older son had fish tacos, which he said were good although pretty over priced at $ 16 and small. My husband had their house burger which was surprisingly good and cooked well. I clearly ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken salad. When Chris brought my salad to the table, he placed a Southwest Chop in front of me. I did a double take and even confirmed with my husband that this was not the salad I ordered. I just ended up eating it because everyone else had their meals in front of them and we had been waiting so long. The salad was fine, although I would have preferred the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Salad. When Chris came by to clear the plates, he asked me how the salad was. I told him it was fine. He said there was a mix up in the back with my salad. Here’s where it got real weird… Chris knew that he brought me the the wrong salad but failed to acknowledge it. Were you hoping you wouldn’t get caught Chris? Why he didn’t say anything is beyond me. It really left us in awe and extremely disappointed. Food and service has a lot to work on if you want my patronage. I’d love a response from you management.

I had never heard of this place before today. I thought the overall atmosphere was great. Super nice on the inside and there was really nice outdoor seating. I would have loved to sit outside, but it was way too hot today. There is super limited parking, so be aware of that. Biggest cons for me were both the service and the food. When we were seated, we did not have any silverware or napkins, and we had to hunt down our waiter AFTER we had received our food to request silverware and napkins. We also were not offered drink refills. Once we asked for refills, it took our waiter a while to bring us our refills as well. I also was not too particularly impressed with the food. I ordered the Margherita Flatbread and have had better in the past. In addition, this place was pretty pricey. My dish was $ 13.95, and in my opinion, it wasn’t worth it. Overall, cool vibe and atmosphere, but the service and food were not worth the price.

My husband and I eat here constantly despite the inconsistent quality of the food. When the food is good, it is amazing and combining that with the atmosphere is great. BUT, about half of the time the food is horrible. The chicken wings will be oddly tiny, weird and boinky, or unsauced. The french dip tastes like they put lunch meat into it. They forget special instructions…“please no cucumbers” or «burger medium well.» I will say that the bad experiences most of the time are when we choose to get take out(which we won’t be doing anymore). We are paying the same price even though we are ordering out and it just feels like the kitchen just automatically stops caring because we have ordered to-go. Disappointed.

This review is for overall experience… The food quality was def top notch. We had a party of 8 for yesterday’s Mother’s Day brunch with an 1145 reservation. We were seated a little after 12 pm and although this was a Champagne brunch our party was never once offered champagne(I began to think I mixed up this part of the brunch with another local brunch spot). Was quite disappointed when we were seated at a plastic folding table with banquet chairs when paying over 30 $ a person. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask for refills as opposed to things just being refilled as the server came around. As I said the food itself was high quality with a good assortment however I wouldn’t book here for another special occasion brunch.

Had never heard of this place until today! Tower café was packed as usual so my friend suggested this place. I had the french toast, delicious. My friend had the Cuban sandwich, delicious. And we had a great server, Nyssa. My only comment/suggestion would be the furniture, tables were super wobbly. An update definitely wouldn’t hurt.

A real hidden gem when it comes to a weekend brunch. We ended up thinking of them on a whim and were lucky enough to enjoy the patio and a sunny Saturday morning. I had a weak moment and ordered the French Toast, she had the Eggs Benedict both were full of flavor and looked gorgeous. I do recommend giving them a try, but warn you I tried for a Sunday not long ago and standing room only.

A bit pricey but we’ll worth it. My bf and I came here about a month ago. We came after the lunch rush and the manager took us to a table next to the full bar. They had tvs on with a basketball game going on, with a few patrons watching and some even with open laptops working while they grab a bite. We ordered beer(they have Crispin for ciders yay!) And and appetizers which made me melt in my seat. We ordered 2 burgers, because who comes to a place that has a cow on the roof, and doesn’t order beef. I swear to you, I could have died and went to heaven. Really. It’s well worth the price. I think lunch for 2 with a beer each and an app was about $ 75. I got to take a look around after my meal and I found their floor to cealing patio openings with an amazing waterfall court. I’m totally sitting out there next time! BTW, the hand soup in the bathroom even smells delicious. This place is dangerous to my wallet.

I like to come here on the weekends for brunch. Their breakfast items are amazing. I like their egg Benedict which was cooked perfectly. They also have a really great selection for lunch too like the Kobe mini burgers. Those mini burgers are freaking amazing, the meat is juicy and cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the goat cheese and baby greens on top of a warm Hawaiian bun. Service here is also okay. Overall this is a great place for brunch and lunch. Now I just have to try dinner.

I came here for the first time with my family for Saturday morning brunch and I really enjoyed it. The ambiance was entirely on point and I absolutely loved the vibe. It was to cold to sit on the outside patio but it looked wonderful out there. I ordered a garden omelet that came with either fried rice or country potatoes, I chose the potatoes. It also came with choice of toast. It didn’t blow me away, but I thought the food was pretty good. Our waiter was a little awkward but overall a very nice guy. The food didn’t come out super quick but at the same time I’ve had way worse wait times so it wasn’t a big deal. The variety on the menu was very small so don’t come with a picky eater but everything on it seemed appetizing to me. I’m definitely glad I tried this place and will certainly come back.

Short ribs on creamy, cheesy grits; crispy fish tacos; Cubano sandwich done correctly. Excellent wait staff and clean tables. Fireplaces for small groups. Please get more reliable, top-of-line heaters on the outside patio please. Loved it! A little pricey but reliable. My family loves it. I usually look for a more exotic hole in the wall. Fairly ordinary but classy. I’m 55 I’m young here.

Worst experience ever! ! Waiter was horrible, food was worse. Our shrimp was raw(super gross) When we brought it to the attention of manager and he didn’t even offer any solutions said it was out of his contol… We spent 175 dollars including tip and I feel that I should’ve just opened my car window and just threw it out!!! I’ve never experienced more horrible service in my entire restaurant experience. If there was no stars I would leave that… Stay away…

Vibe It feels expensive when you walk in, well the prices here are average, well you will end up spending a minimum of $ 15 for an entrée. I always come here looking forward to the patio with the waterfall wall and the nice lighting and set up. Even though today was kind of warm but it wasn’t too hottish. Layout Once you enter your eyes will draw to the bar it is a circular U shape bar. Then there are booths on the side of bar along the walls. Then you will see the back patio which quite a bit of seating. Next you will see the rest of seating in the inside, which is limited. Parking yes parking is limited and sucks. Yes you will have to be patient and look for the parking. Lunch Today my buddy wanted to have lunch with me and he suggested here. Sirloin dip sandwich O M G … One of the bow down or hands down to the sirloin dip sandwich! BREAD — it was warm, soft, and fluffy — not like other places cold and hard. The presentation to the bread didn’t look appealing, but man was the texture and temperature on point ! Also inside the bread there is a thin layer of melted cheese and this was plain awesome to just eat the bread by it self or just dip it in the French onion soup. MEAT — SIRLOIN — Before biting in to the meat, you can smell the aroma from it being over roasted or however they prepared it. The meat was so tender and bites off in one bite, not like other meats where you play the game meat tug of war! It slowly melts in your mouth! Great quality of sirloin served, very surprised! DIP Choice of the meat a jus or French onion soup French onion soup was a no brainer of course! It was served in a smaller cup than a soup cup. The purpose if to dip the bread in there. The flavor from the soup was just rich and flavorful! Filled with a generous portion of onions! Just love it! DRINKS Cucumber lime friska! light, refreshing, and just noms! Service Friendly server with a nice genuine smile, I just want to take the server home lol. Also quick in bringing all the condiments requested! Overall great food! Great service! Great location! Great lunch!

This place is always consistent. I don’t always come here. But when I do, I always enjoy my experience. The hostess, the bartenders, and the servers are always friendly and attentive. The food is always consistent. The drinks ate consistent. This is a casual spot that has a splash of class and romance. Can get busy during sporting events so plan ahead. Otherwise, enjoy a spot at the bar or during their dinning experience.

A great neighborly place to let loose while enjoying a cocktail(or three), a beer, wine, or bar-eats after work during their Happy Hour or any hour. Riverside is decorated wonderfully. Their staff is always upbeat and attentive(especially Nyssa). And they have really good food that’s efficiently priced. Super nice outdoor/indoor seating and even while they tend to cater to an older crowd, everyone seems to be relishing in their company; making this establishment that much more youthful and fun. A neat little restaurant that everyone should consider visiting soon!

Excellent customer service. Decent prices. Yummy food. Cute patio. Accessible location. We’re new regulars to this gem of a spot in our neighborhood. So far, so great! Love the open but quaint modern feel of the main dining area. Love the patio, especially when the Delta breeze kicks in. Get the Korean tacos, tots, Philly steak sliders, and calimari.

This place is pretty cool. I was just here for a birthday party and I was very impressed by the food, service, and the atmosphere. It looks like it is a hot spot for the Land Park bourgeoisie… it is located across from the cemetery and next to Target on Riverside. I had to park a block away because there is only street parking. It is a very nice atmosphere and I would recommend this place for a date or a romantic dinner. There is a horseshoe shaped bar in the middle and the bartender was very helpful. I had the short ribs, tacos, and some type of potato thing — like a profiterole… all were delicious! I will definitley come back here for dinner and drinks again soon!

Are you kidding me, Riverside Clubhouse? I seriously had the worst $ 25 takeout order of my life tonight, and because of it, a pretty loyal regular will NEVER be coming back. I’ve come for happy hour on several occasions and always ordered off of the discounted menu which hasn’t been bad. But tonight, I just, it’s hard to even talk about its so maddening. I called from Natomas as to time my order and arrival at the same time. They told me 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable for a flatbread pizza, very small I might add, and mozzarella ball appetizers. After arriving a few minutes late I was surprised to be asked to wait another 10 minutes, I was thinking it better be good. It was not. The food was terrible. I opened the box of mozzarella balls and there were 6. 6! The size of a large grape, and tasted like cold balls of cardboard. I threw them down and literally screeched«are you kidding me?!» The pizza was almost equally as bad. Cold, rubbery and flavorless. This may have been an off night, but not at the expense of me without some repercussions. I will never be back and I am more than highly disappointed in both service and quality.

The server we had, Kat, is the reason for this update. Our primary point of contention with our last visit was slow service and sketchy mimosa refillings, but Kat made me want to come back again. The food was still kinda eh, but it didn’t really matter because the mimosas were flowing. I am seriously so happy that this experience was so positive. Thank you, Kat. I hope your boss knows how awesome you are.
