Ahhhh, pizza!!! crunchy bottom crust, stretchy, stringy mozzarella cheese, tasty pizza sauce, chewy, thick pizza dough, many topping choices. if you have read our reviews before, you know we love Italian food, especially pizza. This place really hit the spot. Thank you Unilocal for helping us find a another good one. After having breakfast early, we were hungry late Saturday afternoon in an area we are not familiar with. Pizza sounded good because we could save some for breakfast the next morning. Yippee, there was a fridge in our hotel. Roma II was close and had great reviews. Off we were. Overall the décor was nothing fancy, located in a small strip mall. It was a little dark, but the place was clean. A few other tables were occupied. Keep in mind this is like 3pm to 4pm, not really a busy time. We saw another pizza at a table as we walked in and wondered what size it was. Got to our table and my wife and I perused the menu. Many other Italian choices but pizza was prominently displayed. My wife and decided to each get a pizza of our own taste and take the leftovers with us. We don’t remember what size we ordered but were shocked with how big they were. Service was great! Authentic Italian family who does a fabulous job. We can’t wait until we are in the area again and we have already recommended to others!

hidden gem off of folsom and florin perkins. Would of never stopped by if my friend had not recommended. We ordered the house salad which is a relatively large portio enough for 2 people. My friend and I shared a small 12″ all meat pizza. Slices were big and fluffy with lots of meat I even took some off. Wish they had some wings and I would come by all the time

Easily the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I’m so glad I didn’t pass up the opportunity to order here. I was on my godson on a Friday night and decided pizza sounded nice. I did a Unilocal search of pizzerias in his area and found this one within walking distance. My goodness, the enthusiasm in the reviews is deserved. I’ve never had a better tasting crust! It was like a pastry, fluffy and almost sweet? The crust is just so pleasing, that’s all I can say. I order ½ Margherita and ½ meat combo. «My side» was the margherita and let me tell you at first bite I was HOOKED. The cheeses, the high-quality taste of olive oil soaked into the bread, the peppers. Goodness gracious. I did not have the meat side(not a vegetarian, just don’t eat a lot of meat) but I can imagine now good it was. Each bite I took I would literally say, «Quality ingredients». I love that the owners are actual Italians(yes, I asked) and that clearly makes a world of a difference. Maybe asking that question before eating a slice put me in a happy place of feeling like I was visiting Italy for a short while. This is definitely NOT your average American pizza. I will say they are worth the price. Will be back when I’m not worried about calories and know I will have an awesome dining experience! Thank you and see you soon, Roma!

My little family and I came in on a Wednesday night, surprisingly it was pretty packed! Regardless, our table was always tended to; our glasses were filled, and by the time we needed a to-go box for our pizza we got one within just a few minutes without us even needing to ask. We also liked how every single employee actually helped us, and was kept busy with something to do. We ALWAYS ordered pizza for pickup prior, and our first time dining in was AWESOME!!!

I sat in Roma pizza in 1982 studying some boring tax law and they brought me the best pizza I ever had that day! Maria was making pizzas way back then. In those days we always found a few thick chunks of pepperoni on our PMS pizzas.(Pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage). Well last time I was there Maria was still making pizzas! I did the math. She has made and cooked about a million delicious pizzas! Always friendly service! 34 years later and they still make the best pizza in town! Go for it!

This is THEE best pizza joint, possibly ever! The owner of this place also owns Roma pizzeria(the 1st one) but this one is WAY better! The owner of this place brings back fresh authentic ingredients from Italy when she flies out. The specialty pizzas like(fig, goat cheese and fried duck) is ONLY seasonal so you canonly catch those special ones when they are available. Then POOF! They’re gone and it may be another month until you get a DIFFERENT specialty pizza but the never repeat and they’re always absolutely the BEST! don’t get me wrong, their spaghetti, the sauces, the antipasto, salads and everyday pizza combinations are PERFECT. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stop in here! Roma gives free hugs too!

Been going here on & off for years(30+ minute drive in from the country is one of the only reasons we aren’t regulars!) and this is real pizza. It is very hard to go when they aren’t packed. If you are in a hurry, go somewhere else and come back when you aren’t. Family-style, family-run, no cookie cutter pizza here. Salads are good, but filling! Everything is good-sized, so bring your appetite. Highly recommend!

Wow… I live in Fairfield and I heard about this place. An Hour Drive and Worth it! Went on Friday Night around 6:30, got there at 7:30 and it was packed. Had a beer while I waited for a table. Once we finally sat down and ordered food was ready in 15 Min. We ordered the White Pizza Small and Hawaiian. Crust was perfect, reminded me of Chicago. Chef Salad was huge and delicious! Prosecco and Beer topped it off, This place is a hidden Gem. Worth the trip and I will be back.

I work in Sacramento on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s and was in the mood for pizza for the whole office and stumbled on this place because it’s so close to my office. I don’t know how there are not more 5 star reviews for this place and their fantastic pizza. First of all they have ALL the makings of the perfect pizza. Fresh crispy on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside crust. Fantastic authentic sauce that does not taste like a «food service» grade paste. Lastly fresh cheese and ingredients. I love the pizza and atmosphere. They’re very friendly and everyone gave me a big smile and welcomed me as if I was family. You will not be disappointed. It’s a lot more expensive that a chain pizza place but the quality is well worth the expense.

Roma’s has some of the best pizza in Sac, no doubt! Real old-school pies, none of this«thin crust and light toppings» nonsense here. The crust is thick and hearty, the cheese is plentiful and the toppings are ample. Side note: the sausage here is the best I’ve had, they don’t put fennel in it! Cannot go wrong with the Giuseppe Special. Salads are tasty and good value, and though the service can get a little bogged down when they are busy(which they often are, because the food is awesome!), but they are very friendly and accommodating. Blows away Round Table and all other chains by a country mile, at Roma’s you get way better value and great old-school ambiance. But be careful. Frequent visits can lead to weight gain. Order a large and take some home!

I’ll keep this review short and to the point– This place is awesome. I realized something the other day while eating there– I’ve been coming to Roma’s Pizzeria #2 since 1992 when I was in college. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the same folks work there as the first time I visited. If you like garlic pizzas, the White Pizza is to die for. They have fairly recently remodeled and it really is a nice little place to bring the family for a great pizza. Although they have a fairly decent number of menu items I tend to stick with the chef salad and a white pizza. It really is a fairly perfect night out with the family. Buy a larger pizza than you need so you can bring some home.

Love these folks! They’re always welcoming and very attentive regardless if I’m a dine in or a carry out. I always appreciate coming back to a place where you’re remembered. This is one of those places. What I usually order is a pesto pepperoni pizza with a side of ranch. Bomb! A lot of places are skimpy on the pesto, but here they make it in-house and don’t shy away from giving you the serving you deserve. No lie, I usually burn the rooftop of my mouth cause I just stuff my face with the pizza as soon as it comes out! Definitely one of my favorite spots to go when I’m craving pizza. I’ll be a loyal customer as long as they keep what they’ve got goin’ on.

So I went in to meet a friend and they didn’t greet me and they passed me twice to help people behind me. It was my first time here they had us sit at the bar. The salads were already made they just pulled them out of the fridge so they didn’t seem super fresh. The pizza was good. They put A LOT of toppings which is good and the crust is so thick. They don’t offer dessert(which is my favorite part of dining out).

This place is hands down absolutely the best pizza and pasta place I’ve ever had in the Sacramento area. Normally I travel to San Diego for my 2nd best favorite place but I don’t have to go that far to get delicious pizza right here in town! The service is fantastic! But oh my word… the pizza and anti pasto salad is scrumptious deliumptious! :)

One of the best pizza joints in town. Nice thick crusts. They don’t skim on the toppings. The pepperoni is SUPER spicy but tasty. I really dig their house salad. It comes with sliced salami and for an extra couple of bucks you can get some shredded chicken in it too. The only minor gripe that I have is the beer selection is kind of lame. So get it to go and head down the street to New Glory or Device!

The Pizza is great, This family has been baking Pizza since early 1970’s in Sacramento. I have had the pizza at Franklin Blvd, at Folsom Blvd, and Fair Oaks Blvd. The ingredients are tasty, the crust very good, and the toppings are fresh and many. Family is very friendly, I feel like I am in Italy when I go and eat there. Thank you Roma’s for making great Pizza in Sacramento for over 40 years. Some of the workers I remember seeing when they were teens, I was a teen in the 1950’s and now I see those same workers/owners, now in their 50’s.

I have to be honest, this place looks like a complete hole in the wall on Folsom Boulevard. Tucked into a small strip mall right next to the Flea Market, I would have never gone here if it weren’t for my coworkers. But oh lord, how glad I am for my coworkers! We came here for lunch one day in December. The place was packed due to 2 work groups having holiday luncheons here– a good sign. It smelled amazing from the moment we walked in, and I was instantly both hungry and excited. There was a long wait for seating, so we sat at the small bar between other patrons. Not the most comfortable, but I was willing to suffer through for whatever smelled that good. At we sat at the bar waiting for our order, we watched all the fresh, hot Italian specialties leave the kitchen– pizzas, sandwiches, pastas, and our mouths watered. When our house salads came, topped with meat, cheese, and pepperoncinis, we devoured them! Finally it was our turn for pasta. I ordered the cannelloni and my coworker ordered the ravioli in pesto, all housemade. This was the best cannelloni I’ve ever had in my life! It was stuffed with ground meat and spinach then baked in a tomato sauce and covered in melted mozzarella. I couldn’t stop eating it even when I was stuffed. And I still wanted more! My coworker raved about her ravioli so much, I ordered the ravioli casserole the next time I came(on NYE– yes we went twice in 2 weeks!). It was delicious, but I still preferred the cannelloni. I have to say, I’m rather upset that I was taken to this delicious spot because there is nothing diet-friendly on this menu. However, if you are craving delicious, homemade Italian food that will fill you up, Roma’s II is your place. Do not be fooled by the exterior, these guys are the real deal and you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be back for many more filling and unhealthy lunches of deliciousness!

A real family restaurant. The Giuseppe Special is legit. I didn’t like thick crust — by thick, I mean thicker than NY style, not thick like deep-dish, oh no — but I doubt a NY style crust will hold that much topping! Service is great. Definitely will go back for more(and to find out who Giuseppe is).

I now have another favorite pizza place in the Sacramento area. I thought ordering a 12 inch would be too small, as it’s the smallest, but boy was I wrong. It was massive. It could feed 2 easily and even up to 3 or 4 depending on how hungry you are. I ate 2 slices and I was quite hungry. I got the artichoke chicken and omg, delicious. Absolutely amazing. The crust is light and fluffy. My friend ordered something else, and omg the portions sizes. ABSOLUTELYAMAZING. Cant wait to go back again soon!

Ordered take out based on Unilocal reviews. I’d been to the Franklin location years ago, and really enjoyed the food. I was actually surprised that a hole in the wall in that part of town would be so good. This location didn’t disappoint. I will say that the man taking the phone order didn’t seem interested in answering food questions. The cheese pizza was light and flavorful. It wasn’t so crust heavy that I felt like I was eating dough. The sauce just right, as was the amount of cheese. Truly, yumm Ordered meatballs and garlic bread too. The bread isn’t much to write home about. I love the fact that the meatballs are beef and turkey. No pork. Overall a good to go order experience !! Looking forward to trying other pizza delights.

Roma’s is one of my favorite pizza joints in Sacramento. I’ve been a customer for 5 years and love this place. The crust is medium and perfect. Not too thick and not too thin. Guys! Their pesto is OUTOFTHISWORLDAMAZING. I definitely recommend it. You can order pesto with any pizza oh order and you cannot go wrong because it is delicious. There is plenty of parking out front and off to the side of the building. They are closed Monday’s so get your fix on Tuesday. This place is good for dates, family gatherings and going out for a bite to eat. The servers are very nice and will take good care of their customers. They offer pick up orders. If you are a pizza lover, come check out Roma’s. It is so darn good!!!

I have been coming here for the past 6 years or so. I love this place! Their bread is amazing and their spaghetti sauce is full of flavor. I love their chef salads and their pizzas. You definitely get a lot of good food when you go here. We always have leftovers to take home too. The staff is very friendly and it’s family owned. There is another Roma’s of Franklin Blvd but this is the only place owned by this particular family. My favorite is the cannelloni and the spaghetti puttanesca. You never go wrong coming here!

Order:(S) Combination & Lunch Ravioli Based on my previous experience at the Franklin Blvd location, I highly advise to not order too much. My boyfriend(who can eat a lot) and I ordered a small pizza the first time and we ended up taking home half of a pizza. This time, the small was still too big for 3 people. It’s a first world problem, but just FYI. Sauce for ravioli & pizza: good Crust: I loved the crispy crust, but my boyfriend thought it was a bit too crunchy. Toppings: Very generous. High quality. Take-Out Service(during lunch hour): 25 minutes. Overall, the pizza was very filling, dense, and quite tasty. The ravioli filling was mediocre, but the sauce was amazing!
