Sacramento Valley Mattress

I’ve bought 3 mattresses from Sacramento Valley Mattress. One 12 months ago and two more in the last 2 months. We had no gas odor, the mattresses are well built and very reasonably priced. We’ve had no sagging issues and we’re not small people. I am very, very happy with all three purchases and will return the next time I need a mattress! Very nice people and very helpful.

I found Sacramento Valley Mattress through craigslist. They often have a lot of middlemen/​resellers posting on craigslist selling Sacramento Valley Mattress’ brand. So if you see cheap mattress on craigslist, be weary.
I went to their warehouse. bought it, and picked it up myself.
I bought a mattress from them. The price was very cheap, very affordable. Unfortunately, you get what you paid for. Right off the bat, their mattress has a VERY, VERY, VERY strong gas smell to their mattress. The stench is unbearable. And I can stand a lot of things and in the past 8 yrs prior to this mattress, I have used foam mattress. And let me tell you, the biggest complaint against foam mattress is the stench. Yeah, this mattress from Sacramento Valley Mattress beats foam mattress in gaseous smell by 100 miles.
The stench was so bad that we had to air it out. Our bedroom is upstairs and I work from home so I let it aired out for 2 straight week, ²⁴⁄₇ and the stench gaseous smell still didn’t go away. My wife and I had to sleep in separate rooms while waiting for the stench to go away. After the stench didn’t go away, we waited for another 2 more weeks, totaling 4 weeks. Still didn’t go away. We gave up, we put the sheets on and just slept on it. BAD IDEA. Next day, our whole body smell gaseous. You can smell it on our clothes, our skin. Not sure how healthy that is.
We went to and got a mattress cover. It helped contained the smell but honestly, something that smells that powerful, is it even safe to sleep on it with or without cover? Another two weeks have passed and the mattress is already sagging. TWO WEEKS of use and the mattress is already SAGGING. TWO WEEKS. Ok, I am a little overweight for my size… I’m 5−5″ and 185 pounds but a brand new mattress should not be sagging in two weeks. Just to verify that it was sagging, I uncover my mattress cover and I can see it, yep! It’s sagging. I can see it clearly.
The mattress is heavy, firm but the springs are extremely cheap in these mattress. The springs are already warped and sagging in two weeks of use. Stay away from this mattress warehouse store that builds their own mattress. Their mattresses are not good.
