Love Safeway and their products. Thanks for always having good deals. Nick was my cashier. He greeted me with a genuine smile and a friendly demeanor. Thanks for the great service, Nick!

Boy has Safeway changed! Big time. This one is very nice and cozy. They have the wells fargo bank, which is very busy today, I just can imagine just how busy they really get. They also have a Starbucks in here, how neat. Safeway used to be my store back in the day. They have changed a lot. I shopped at the one down on 19th for over a year. I don’t get to shop here like I used too. One reason is I don’t live near one and two its changed a lot, very different! Too me. This store is very big and clean. The cashier was cool. I’m just here with a good friend today, she lives near here and wanted to come. I like this store and the set up. I think that it offers a lot to it’s customers and this community. It’s a very nice store and with a pretty cozy kind of an atmosphere.

Place is clean which is a perk, a little upset that I came here to grab lunch and just sit and relax. The kid who was helping me was friendly and very helpful. The problem is I got the chicken with two sides. I chose potato salad and potato wedges for my side. May I also add there was a gentleman next to me ordering chicken a special on the glass that said MIXED8PIECE $ 8 while the lady behind the counter argues with him and says it’s only for thighs and legs… but it said mixed, guess the option of two pieces of chicken is considered«mixed» Sat down to eat, the chicken was slightly crispy, looks like they made too much and again sitting there. The potato salad was just meh, didn’t taste to fresh, and the wedges were terrible. You can tell they have been sitting there for awhile just cold and dry, and just very unpleasant. I went to the counter and notified them that the potatoe wedges taste old… they just stood there while I was holding my tray of potatoes and they apologized… that’s all. I then proceeded to the checkout to buy gum with my stale entrée and told the cashier. He just looked at me confused, and said sorry and didn’t offer to get a manager. At this point I was over it and asked that he throw it away as I’m starting to run late to work. Thank you for wasting my lunch and making it the most unpleasant, waste of my time and meal. You may want to train your people with customer service, if I worked there I would’ve at least offered a fresh order or something, for frick sake at least offer to throw it away for me.

The older employees are racist! I haven’t been here in years. Came back today And still racist as ever. I was probably the only asian customers there. And majority of the employees are Caucasian.

There are great sales sometimes. I purchased two Foster Farm young chickens for only $ 11! It was 99 cents a pound. Just check the weekly sale paper. I went through the self-checkout line but received assistance from the cashier overlooking the registers to resolve why my screen was not finishing the process. Only downfall is the traffic that occurs during the work week on Calvine Road.

I only shopped at this safeway a few times. Place is big, lots of parking, workers are nice. But I usually stop here for gas! Use your safeway club card for cheaper gas. Kind of similar to the whole costco membership /get access to cheap gas! There’s plenty of gas pumps and the wait isn’t long. Also you can pay cash or card :)

Ordered a cake for father’s day… all I ask is please please always check with the customer to make sure it is their cake before packing it up. Thank god I made her bring it to me and show me the cake«Happy Birthday! Is clearly not what my father’s day cake needed to say… turns out there is someone else with the same name as me who placed an order as well. The workers should really confirm the order with name and phone number the cake was placed under. Apparently it sounded like this happens allot there as another bakery worker said«thank god it wasn’t my fault this time» Hmmmm I think I’ll go else where for my cake.

It sucks when your starving and you grab whatever looks good. I grabbed some microwaveable food and came home and the pasta looked kind of funny. I checked the expiration date and it was four days old! Don’t you think you should toss that out? I even grabbed there deli sandwich but when I really looked at it in line I told them take it out. Throw that away! If you don’t like people coming in complaining thinking there a waste of your time, do your job and toss things out. Unfortunately this is the closest Safeway from me and I hope the next time I come back I won’t find anything expired. I come here way too much. I don’t want to sound dramatic about this but I’m just hungry lol

First off, I do love this Safeway but I will never ever buy their fruits again. I bought some pears and they were rotten in the middle. It was all brown and super mushy. That is a complete shame to have fruits especially from Safeway.

Safeway, you can either be really cheap or so freaking expensive. Club card savings is pretty much the standard prices at Walmart or winco. But because I rather pay for convenience, I’ll drive to you. Three stars for their superb customer service. Someone who always bags your food. They have a wellsfargo branch located inside the store along with two atm machines. Superlotto machine is located near the entrance/exit. Purposely to get your money! Four self checkouts, in which you can not buy alcohol at. Oh, and I can’t forget the Starbucks, bakery, hot deli, sandwich, and sushi station. Gas is also located here! Right now prices are at its lowest and for every 100 points you can get .10 cents off your gas. Read the bottom of your receipt for accurate points.

I love this Safeway because they have the cheapest gas price! I really like the gas rewards and was able to use $ 0.50/gal discount which is just awesome! The variety of products they sell is also wonderful and I love how friendly the staff is as well.

They just remodeled this store and they have ruined it. It was a small store to begin with and they removed a bunch of shelves. Along with the shelves the products on them went. Every few days I find something else they no longer stock. I have sent a request to the Safeway corporate office asking them to start stocking some of the items again, but it probably won’t do any good. Now I have no choice but to also shop at the Bel Air across the street. I am not happy

A nearby grocery store that rewards regular customers. The good: Not only do they have a frequent shopper rewards program, but this Safeway also boasts a Starbucks café and small seating area(in addition to the deli seating) for the coffee lovers who need a quick fix. Not the case for me, but definitely when I’m shopping with the younger sis she will more than likely grab something – one less stop needed. I also find the prices here a little more competitive than Bel-Air across the street, and I’m their biggest«strawberry log cake» fan – it’s a light, creamy cake that isn’t too sweet and serves a good amount of people for only $ 15.99. Yum. I noticed today that the deli has a Taco Tuesday special: 4 street style tacos and a fountain drink for only 5 bucks. Good deal – I will have to try it out sometime. The good to know: You can look up your rewards card via phone number – no plastic card to carry around. They will also print out coupons with your receipt. Would I come here again? Yes, whenever I crave my favorite cake or need to grab something quick on the way home.

There are two things about Safeway’s deli counter that I like: the convenience and the prices. This Safeway grocery stores is convenient located just a hop skip and a jump from my place of employment. It’s easy to drive over on my lunch break and order a salad or sandwich and head back to work, which is what I had planned. When entering the door you will see the soup bar straight ahead and the sandwich bar to the right. I walked straight to the soup bar to dish up a bowl of roasted Tomato soup. This soup is super hot, rich, and creamy. With that said, it’s very filling and can make a meal in and out itself however, I wanted to get a turkey wrap as well. The nice thing about this deli counter is that you can choose everything to order. I prefer using the wraps that are low-carb, instead of bread, Mesquite roasted turkey, and vegetables. A vast selection of vegetables, cheeses, and dressings are available. This sandwich deal is kind on the wallet and very satisfying. Nice thing is that I usually am only able to finish half of my wrap, which means the second half will be used for tomorrow’s lunch. I planned to grab and go so I may eat while working at my desk. However, you have the option of eating in the small cafeteria that is located in the store should you need a break from work. And the wide band Wi-Fi is free!

Safeway is always my go-to store. It’s ease of finding whatever I’m looking for has be looking for one in where ever I’m at. I generally only come to this location to get gas, but today had me there shopping as it was on the way home from running some errands and my store was out of the way. I figured this Safeway would be like any other, fairly familiar but with some stuff in different areas, well dang is THAT an understatement with this location. This store had me going in circles trying to find the few groceries I came in to get, I actually left without one because I couldn’t find it on my 4th lap around the store. I was really disappointed on it’s set up as it makes almost no sense and is overly confusing for someone who doesn’t shop this location on the regular. If you find yourself at this location I would recommend having your grocery list ready and going up and down every aisle to help not having to back track.

This particular Safeway has a special place in my heart, because it offers what most cannot, a gas station. A highly efficient, fast-paced, gas station similar to Costco, but better! But we’ll get there. Inside is Safeway, I don’t think that there’s any spin I can put on it to provide you with a painted picture to sell you on essentials, groceries, flowers, and the like. Nice open floor design, very well lit, extremely spacious building, and very friendly staff for those who get a little overwhelmed. But the gas station is the business! Dirt cheap, nice open lines and when you have a 25 gallon tank and a 2 hour drive back to The City, this is THE place you want to fill up at. You can clean your windows here, clean your interior, place additives to your fuel, check the air pressure, whatever’s your pleasure. And very close to the freeway to get you back on the road, and your vehicle feeling full of fuel!

There are very few gas stations in the area, so this one gets lots of business. They are always busy and during peak hours you will need to wait in line. This can be frustrating. A while ago they placed signs that direct drivers which direction to enter. Even though it may be convenient, DONOT go in the the wrong direction. People will come out of their cars and want to box you if you do. I always pay with my credit card at the pump. I wish that their system was a bit faster in processing the card. If you are a regular Safeway shopper and use their ID card, you can received nice discounts on your gas, sometimes ten cents a gallon. The quality of the gas seems fine, my car runs well on it.
