I have had 3 things cleaned here. 1king size minx blanket, 3pc couch cushions washed and hemmed, and a polyester animal pillow, they all came out perfect. Cleaned and still felt like they were brand knew. I will continue to bring my special pieces to be cleand and handled here. Great place, and a great hob on there care of cleaning.

If you wish to deal with a company of good ethics and respect don’t enter the doors! They ruined two pairs of my jeans, washed them when I specifically asked for them dry cleaned. They broke my button off and didn’t inform me until I got home and saw for myself. When I went in to speak with the owner she undermined the fact that she broke it but said she’d replace it. That was enough for me to know they are sneaky, then she said she wouldn’t repay for the damages on my expensive denim. I couldn’t believe how I was treated she laughed at me and told me the jeans weren’t faded. I told her husband I would call the news for such terrible customer service he laughed and said call them. I would have felt right at home if they would’ve just spit on me and threw my stuff at me because that’s how they indirectly treated me! Please never go here, I was a loyal customer that at minimum would spend $ 130 with them. Never again!

I’m in there to drop off a bunch of clothes every Friday morning and I pick them up every Monday evening. The husband and wife that run the place have always been super cool to me and I’ve never had any issues with the quality of their work. Their prices are pretty dang good too. I used to pay a TON more for dry cleaning when I lived in the Bay Area. My only issue with the place has absolutely nothing to do with Sage Cleaners, it’s with the businesses around them. There’s a cigarette shop that often has a bunch random heads hanging out around it, and a donut shop that has a similar issue. Also, in the evenings parking can be a little more of a pain because people seem to really love them some Little Caeser’s cheap pizza. These things may bother some people, but they don’t bother me. I like the people and service at Sage enough to ignore all that other mess. As long as I continue to live nearby to them, they will continue to get all of my dry cleaning business.

Nothing like getting scolded by a little asian lady for bringing in «cheap pants» about 2 years ago. True story! Sure I was a little heavy back then and ashamed to spend $ 80 on double digit slacks(ahem, denial)… but I kept going to the little dry cleaner in the ghetto of So. Natomas. Why??? Well first, I prefer an organic cleaner, second their prices are reasonable, and third, eventually that little asian lady warmed up to me. Now my job has transferred me out of the ghetto and I’ve moved a bit too far from this place to frequent Sage Cleaners. I have to say, paying over $ 6 for slacks in downtown Sac has made me miss this little gem. A whole lot.

I had quite the experience here. What attracted me to Sage was that their window reads«All work done on premises.» I had a very sentimentally-valuable jacket that I needed cleaned and did not want to risk getting it lost in transit by cleaners sending special care items out(it was a letterman-style jacket with leather sleeves). So once I saw that Sage did all their cleaning in-house, I was sold. I took the jacket in and adamantly confirmed that it would not be sent out. The two clerks there, what looked like father and daughter, spoke in what sounded like Japanese for several minutes in front of me as I stood there, clueless to what they were saying about my jacket. The older man told his daughter«Fifteen,» only to have her retort him with«Fif-TY!» The«fifteen-fifty» argument went on for a little while longer when the older man finally said to me in English«Since the sleeves are leather, the special cleaner is very expensive, usually fifty dollars. But this time, we will only charge twenty five.» Around that price was what I expected to pay, so I agreed and left my jacket in their hands. Two days later, I picked up the jacket. It obviously was cleaned and smelled fresh, but I inspected it even more carefully once I got home to examine how clean it was. Now, for almost being charged fifty dollars for this cleaning job, I would have expected it to be a lot cleaner. Sure, it was cleaner than when I dropped it off, but there was still some noticable dirtiness in several places. I’m not entirely sure how much having something like that cleaned costs, but I feel sort of ripped off and like I(and my jacket) should’ve received better treatment. I will probably not come here again. P.S: When I picked up my jacket, there was a man in front of me dropping off several shirts to be cleaned, and when they told him it was going to be about $ 43, he told them«You guys are too expensive, I’m going somewhere else.» That also kind of gave me the impression that I would probably not return to Sage Cleaners.
