I used to come for haircuts and color every now and then. I’ve known Mary for many years now. 4 to be exact. I came for highlights and color. I had an appointment at 4pm and she didn’t acknowledge my presence until 5:30 pm. She had me wait and once I told her what I wanted she said that highlights wouldn’t work for me. At 5:50 she had me do a test. She applied the solution for highlights and had me sit to see if my hair would take it. At 6:30 she said it would work. She did my highlights at 6:50pm. She applied the hair dye at 7:30 pm. It turned out purple. I chose black cherry and she just joked that it matched my daughter’s purple shirt. I left the place by 8:30 pm and she charged me $ 130 for the shitty job she did. I had to re do my hair dye and now feel very upset with the lack of professionalism and the poor customer service. I want my money back!

Got a haircut for the first time with them recently and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby was full, but they got me in and out quickly. Thanks for the cut, I’ll be back soon!

The service here has dramatically declined over the past 3 years as I used to be a regular, spending at least $ 140 each session. They change employees like they change their garage… Daily. The only positive is the owner Jose is pretty nice, but it takes a little more than a nice co-​owner to keep your clientele. They sell their products which are a complete scam, and they are way over priced. One item I was talked into getting by Jose and Mari is the keratin and oxygen treatment called «Salvataggio» and they swore up and down that I needed this product to repair my hair. However the product is no where near a treatment! I know a lot about beauty, it makes your hair feel dry, brittle, and sticky. So I look up the brand. On their label it reads «www​.sal​vatag​gio​pro​fes​sional​.com» doesn’t even exist! There is no such product on the web. Now I wonder why that is? Because it’s fake, just like the service they sell. I have been going to this salon for over 3 years, never again. Don’t buy their products, they are excellent con artists!

I went here and got a great haircut. Friendly staff. They listened to what I wanted and got it right! Thanks for the cut… I will definitely be back for a trim. Ask for Mary.

I Love the way mary does my hair, i always leave feeling fabulous. she is very attentive and makes me feel at home. I have known jose and mary for many years and they are the coolest people. If you need your hair done, highlights, color, cut, anything don’t hesitate to go there you wont find a better place.

I get my haircut here and Stephanie cuts my hair. She does a great job and looks like a model. The staff are friendly and always welcoming. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently went to try this salon and i absolutely love it. I was very impressed on my first visit mary is the one who did work on me it took a while but i appreciate the time and effort you took on me i highly recommend this place everyone is nice and generous and everyone does a good job thankyou

I recently just moved to Sacramento and was looking for a hairstylist/​barber and decided to try out Mary’s. It’s right of the 99 and there’s plenty of parking in the back. The girl who worked on me knew exactly how I wanted my hair styled and she did an excellent job for a reasonable price ($ 12). I’m extremely picky when it comes to haircuts so Mary’s receives a five star for me. Is definitely recommend this salon and I will return.

The girl who cut my hair is amazing! (The girl with the long brownish blonde layered hair). She did EXACTLY what I asked. I have been traumatized by hair cutters in the past, but she was very understanding. I am so glad she didn’t chop off my hair like supercuts!

I love them all, They do such a great job and give you exactly what you want (; If I ever need a hair cut this is the only place I come too. And since I moved up north I haven’t been in as much. But ill definitely throw $ 10 in gas tank just to get my hair done here. I been coming here for 3 years and they never let me down, the Girls are awesome. Great customer service

I’ve been to several salons in the Sacramento/​Elk Grove area and this one had the best service and the best prices. All the girls are all very nice and professional. I will definitely be coming back!

Scheduled an appointment at the very last minute for my daughter whom was going to be in a quinceanera. They requested a deposit, which was fine no biggie. Left a $ 30.00 deposit and then they charged my daughter another $ 30.00 for curls with a curling iron that looked like she just ratted her hair. Th appoinment was at 8am and they did not arrive until 815am.
Needless to say we will not be coming back!

The ladies here are very sweet and really give honest advice about what style and color will look good with your face and skin tone. I’ve had my hair cut, colored and styled here. My hair always looks great when I leave and I get tons of compliments. I’ve also gotten my eyelashes done here and they came out great too. There’s parking in the back and you can use the door in the back to the left of the restaurant entrance to walk through a hallway to the salon so you don’t have to walk all the way around to the front of the building.

I’ve been here 3 – 4 times. First 2 visits were alright so came back, needed to support my people’s business too. Well last time I was here the original girl who had done my highlights didn’t work here anymore but I wasn’t informed of it before my apt until I showed up. Someone else helped me n loved my hair. So I’m here again for highlight retouch. My apt was at 10 n the girl who I made the apt with was helping someone else, really? So someone else did the color first n then the retouch. Long story short it’s 1:15pm n I’m still not done since she keeps going back and forth with the other girl and haircuts in between. In summary I love the way they do my hair but 3+ hrs to have my highlights retouch is ridiculous!!! Sorry I don’t think I’ll be back here!

I was referred here by a friend. she has highlights and her hair is nice. I went here on Wednesday afternoon and Mary the owner did my hair. She cut it and colored it all one color.
I chose a dark brown color but it still looked brown, she showed me a swatch and I really liked it. She dyed my hair BLACK!!! I noticed it was really dark when I got home. I took out my JET BLACK extensions I used to have and put them in and they blended right in. I am very upset about that because I did not want black hair.
For my hair cut she did layers in my hair. But for my bangs she completely messed up, some strands are a lot longer than others and they look extremely choppy. I cannot put my hair down with my bangs anymore I have to bobby pin it or use a headband.
And for all of this I was way overcharged!!! I paid $ 80!!!
I will never return or tell anyone to go to them.
