I had ordered a non-fatigue mat via Amazon. Weeks later the poorly crafted mat arrived. I called immediately, to let them know I would be returning it, as the edges are curled and it was generally poorly made. I was redirected to Amazon, and by then it was declared that«i did not need it» in the data reports, and that it was over 30 days since ordering. Shame on both Salon CA and AMAZON. I will not be ordering for either, and today, I plan to take photos of the new one and my 2 year old one that I am current using — which is in better presentation — even with a minor tear in it. Run, don’t walk from these clowns.

I wish I would have read SalonCA’s Unilocal reviews before buying 3 shampoo units from them. We have been using them for 6 months and have had a faucet supply line break(ausing damage to our space and neighboring tenants), a vacuum breaker go bad a few weeks later and now the other two units vacuum breakers are both dripping. We have shampoo units from Minerva and Standish Salon Goods in our other 2 locations which have been in use for years and never an issue other than replacing a sprayer hose. When you want go to ask them for a replacement part under warranty they will require you to pay shipping and then send it ground so you will not get it for a week. No a great way to treat your customers which rely on shampoo units to be in business.

Though there items look great and I cant vouch for the quality, I would Have bought them being the right price… PROBLEM Their shipping is the highest I’ve experienced buying on line. When I asked why its so high? The answer was I can check with the management and see if we can lower(I was to purchase 4 items at a great price totaling $ 1,200.00 before tax) A return call did come with no discount saying«Its because its coming from Sacramento, CA the total for shipping was over $ 1,000.00!!! I’ve ordered several big items from California and have NEVER paid shipping like this.

If I could I would have given this place 0 stars! Their customer service is hideous! I ordered 3 styling chairs that I needed and to start I thought their shipping charge was too high per chair since I had previously purchased 8 of the exact chair from a different company that unfortunately no longer carried this chair and that company didn’t charge me a delivery fee! Salon, Ca sent me an email with very detailed instructions on receiving my merchandise and I noticed it stated that they only did curbside delivery, so when a rep called me to verify info I asked her about that because I told her the previous company put the chairs inside the salon and she said«Oh yes, of course that won’t be a problem!» So when the shipping company called me to schedule delivery date I asked again and they told me no, that there would be an additional charge! Long story short I spoke to 5 different people, all employees had different versions of their policies, last person I spoke to was a so called manager named Robert that was no help and told me I had to pay $ 80 extra for them to put the chairs inside! I told him just to cancel and he said then there would be a fee for that!!! Ridiculous to say the least!!! I will NEVER order from them again! I purchase a lot through websites and never experienced such lack of professionalism and customer service!!! So beware and spend your hard earned money where they will appreciate you for it! Don’t order from them!!!

I brought 8 styling chairs for our salon… But all 10 of our stylist think the chair are bad quality. 1. Products are from china. 2. Chairs are squeaky. 3. Chair will flip forward if client step on foot rest. 4. Highest chair position is only 23 inches. Stylist will have to bent when work, causing back aches. Beware!!! All their chair only goes up 23 inches maximum. Will not let u return!!!

Wow, this is great place to buy salon equipments. I’m amazed with how much stuff they carry. They have great customer service and was super helpful with all my questions. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of equipment from this company, and until recent I have been mostly satisfied! The last time I was in to make yet again another purchase, I was rang up incorrectly. Neither myself or Salon CA caught the error for 3 weeks. 3 weeks after making my purchase Salon CA called my business asking for the owner, I was not available so they left a message demanding I call them for payment. I owed them no balance, they called for the next 4 days in excess refusing to leave contact information. My manager called them to discuses the issue, they had realized they under charged us $ 100. They demanded pay immediately or they refuse to do business with us. Last time I checked I am the customer. I would never make an error and blame my guest/customer. I would not be so appalled if Salon CA would have handled themselves more professionally. However that was not the case. In exchange they were short and rude about a problem they caused. I have spent so much money with them, I guess they don’t value their customers they way one would think!
