Always wanted to come in and try this place and I’m glad I finally did cause I just found a hole in a wall kinda place. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp dinner plate, which already sounds amazing, and came with a side of beans/​rice/​small salad. The shrimp was soooo juicy and moist. Perfectly cooked with crisp bacon. Salad was petite but good. And I love beans and rice in general. When I came in it wasn’t very busy at all and was helped right away. The lady at the front was very helpful and friendly when I asked her what their spiciest dish is. I am definitely going back to try it out!

This place is pretty much amazing. I don’t remember precisely what I got, but I do remember it was delicious. Our table was near the door to the kitchen; everything coming out smelled wonderful and looked well-​presented. We were fortunate to be there when the band finished their dinner and started working the crowd a bit. The place is a little out of the way for me, so I haven’t had a chance to go back, but I’m looking forward to my next visit.

First time trying. It’s isolated but was easy to find. Not many customers, 2 tables besides us. Waitress comes for drink order. I order Ice Tea. They don’t have any. Ok, Diet Coke and 2 waters. She brings a can of Diet Pepsi without asking me first if that’s ok. So I sent it back. Oh and why is the Diet Coke $ 1.75 and Coke $ 2.50? Is it a 2 Liter? So the drink department is pretty sad here unless you only drink beer.
I ordered the Shrimp with onions and tomatoes and she ordered the breaded fish. To my surprise the shrimp was good, not over cooked and the onions and tomatoes were subtle. The breaded fish was really thin but not dry as you would expect for being so thin. A little hard on the edges though. All in all it was good food but if they can fix their drinks I would give another star.

I try not to give too many five stars… but man oh man give this a ten star! We had the langostinos and they had the best sauce I ever had… ever! And the mocajete… and the micheladas. Don’t walk, run.
On the negative side, not the cleanest place I’ve ever seen. But I don’t care! I dream about their food!

— Garlic Shrimp: Shrimp cooked in garlic served with a side salad, rice, and beans. The shrimp has a strong garlic taste which I like. The shrimps were not deveined which doesn’t bother me too much but I know some people don’t like that. 4⁄5
— Complimentary tostados and cerviche: Very tasty and has a good kick. 5⁄5
SERVICE
— The young lady was friendly and professional. 4⁄5
FINAL THOUGHTS
— I would definitely come back. The food was good and you can’t beat complimentary cerviche! The food and feel reminds me of restaurants in Puerto Rico.

Amazing food, and even better service. The staff is very attentive, it’s clean, and the food is great. You can’t go wrong! Highly recommend.
Today we had the molcajete– crab legs, shrimp, crab, and a great sauce. I’d you’re looking for great service, and great seafood this is the place.

Ok so on a hangover day I needed something spicy and yummy and boy did las is deliver!!! The caldo is good and the CAMARONES A LA CORA ARE A MUST!!!
The staff is nice and friendly and the food is yummy with a nice presentation. I was SO full but I couldn’t stop eating! This place is a hidden jewel and my go to place for recovery. Lol

I decided to come here after finding this place on Unilocal.I was a little skeptical because there were only 2 reviews. I recently moved to Elk Grove from San Jose and I’ve been looking for a good shrimp cocktail. Since the only 2 reviews were good i decided to try it and I am so glad I did! Everything was great. The tostadas with ceviche was very good. The fish tasted good and not too fishy. Too many times I’ve been places where the seafood didn’t taste fresh. My shrimp cocktail was also really good! My husband had a plate of mixed seafood and he also liked his and he is super picky when it comes to mexican seafood restaurants. My sister who is not big on mexican seafood dishes was able to order shrimp Alfredo which she really liked. I will definitely be coming back and I can’t wait.

This place is a hidden treasure ! A great mix between sea food and MEXICAN food. They bring these tostada chips and awsome home made chunky ceviche to start off with. They have a large selection of beer ! The oysters and bacon wrapped shrimp are the best ! I’m surprised I’m the 1st to review ! Like I said south sacramento awsome hidden treasure! Best taqueria ! And the customer service is prompt and so fast and friendly ! Enjoy this place !
