Got my carnitas+beans burrito, the salsas, and a bag of chips for $ 3.50…WHEW what a steal! The owner is a cute, friendly elderly man who was trying to sell me a burrito $ 1 off because he wanted to go home — when part of his stand fell down. It was windy. He sold out of most of his food by then, so I picked one of the two options left and went home. I was going to split the burrito with my dad and didn’t eat my half until a few hours later. By then all the chips were gone. «They were really good.» Yeah, apparently. As other reviewers have said, the tortilla is thick because it’s home made, and the meat to beans ratio was a bit off. But for the price, I’m not complaining. Carnitas was okay. The salsas and sauces that came with it were bomb. While the burrito was decent and comforting as a home-cooked item, the salsas(and chips, I guess) were the big winners. Chicken+rice burrito, I will be back for you.

The tortillas were ok, but they were really too thick and hard to cut or chew. The filling tasted great, but not much was there. I will not go back.

Great little walk up near the courthouse! Burritos are big and meaty at this cart, chips and a soda for 6 bucks! That’s a meal that’s hard to beat

Really nice guy who serves delicious burritos when it’s nice outside. He’s not around when it’s rainy or crappy weather outside. Only takes cash, no change. $ 4.50 for a burrito and an additional $ 1.50 for a soda. I got the Chile Colorado which was beef with rice. It was okay. The meat to rice ratio was off. The best part was the homemade tortilla. It was this cross between a tortilla and a piece of naan bread. Real nice. I am going to try this again and next time get the chicken with rice or the vegetarian option. Coworker got the chicken and he was all out of vegetarian when I went. Pretty sure that’s where I went wrong with my order.

If you want some nice homey food then this is our place. It’s tasty, homemade, and affordable. What makes this place is the home made tortillas. They remind me of the best tortillas I had in Salinas. Basically his food comes with meat beans or rice and various sauce depending on what you order. You also get some chips and salsa for the low price of $ 5.

Small corner food cart. Señor is super friendly and prices are unbeatable. $ 4.50 for large burrito and chips. Attendance/menu can be unpredictable at times. I usually get the chile verde or carnitas.

Honestly, this is the most homemade fast food you’ll ever get. People who expect restaurant quality food from a food stand needs to go to an actual restaurant. Cilantro is right around the corner and there are a few taquerias on K street. On a good note, I had the chile verde burrito. I’m not a big fan of burritos so I can’t rave to you about how good it is. To me a burrito is just a burrito but one thing I’ll say is that it doesn’t have beans, which is a good thing because I absolutely hate beans with a passion hence why most of the time I don’t eat burritos. The pork held its form but fell apart in my mouth and was flavorful. The tortilla was soft and doughy and you’ll definitely know that it’s not your ordinary tortilla you can buy at the store. The salsa had the kick and tasted freshly made like it should. Overall, I’ll definitely go back to Señor’s because I lack access to homemade mexican food.

Couldn’t wait to try this food cart after reading so many 5 star reviews but I was left unimpressed. I’ll have to try another flavor next time, but my carne with beans was 95% beans and maybe 5% beef. I wasn’t even sure there was beef until ¾ of the way through and what was there was nearly flavorless and dry shredded beef. Because they are made earlier in the morning and wrapped, it was basically a soggy tortilla filled with only beans. Compared to any taqueria burrito, the size was also on the smaller side. The second star is only because the tortilla did appear completely home made and would have been delicious on its own. The salsa was also good and the price($ 4.50) is more than reasonably.

Delicious convenient burritos while I’m walking around Downtown doing Outreach. Who can beat $ 6 for a giant delicious burrito and a soda? Some days if you’re lucky they’re feeling generous and only charge you $ 5 =) I’m definitely a fan and plan to returning.

I love Señor’s Chile Relleno burrito, it is to die for! His tortillas are homemade and you can totally tell with the thick and chewy texture of the tortilla, not the flat bland store-bought ones. His homemade salsa is heavenly. He’s always in a very cheerful mood which is a great break to see him, from sitting at work all day. I’m lucky I only work about 3 blocks away!

I don’t know about other people but I had a horrible experience here. I ordered a chicken burrito and the tortilla started falling apart on me. It seemed like the burritos were made in the morning and had been kept warm till I bought it at lunch time. Sorry but I like my stuff cooked fresh. Not going to again.

Bomb! Wow! My coworker suggested it and informed us that the burritos were sold from a coffee cart. Half the office was in and the other half passed on the idea that it was sold out of a cart. I took«the risk» and wow! Glad I did. I got the Chile Relleno burrito and although there was not a huge chile relleno in there the rice and beans were so good! It is refried beans and he must cook them with manteca cause these are way to delicious. I highly recommend and will be stalking this mans little cart in the near future. YUMMY!

Wanted to love Señor Burrito but sadly it was just average. I had the chile verde burrito and rice. It was 80% rice and 20% pork. The pork was dry. Tortilla seemed homemade but not pliable. Salsa was fresh but mild as was chile verde. Good thing for Tapatio. Chips tasted oily. The gentleman who owns the cart was very friendly and there is little else you can find for $ 4.50.

Decided to go here for lunch during jury duty based on Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed. By far the best part of jury duty! Definitely a homemade tortilla and great prices. The guy is really nice too! I had the carnitas burrito but plan on coming back to try more!

This guy is awesome. Went today and got a ton of burritos for the office, he was super accommodating and gave us extra salsa and sauce for the burritos. Homemade tortillas and salsa. Just go and try it ok?

Best burritos and best Mexican food in Sacramento by FAR!!! Roberto has been doing this for 20 years and he knows what he’s doing. It reminds me of my grandma’s cooking and given that she’s 500 miles away, this will do cherry. Skip out on the bougie«Mejican» restaurants downtown and have yourself some REAL Mexicano food. Food prep should not be questioned nor anything else for that matter. Anything less than a 4 star review is unacceptable. What this man is doing here is amazing!!!

Here’s a short, quick review… Didn’t pack a lunch today, and had a half hour. Wanted to go for a walk and was craving Mexican, so hopped onto Unilocal!to see if there was anything different for me to try within walking distance. Found Señor Burrito at 7th& I Streets… about a good 15 min or so from my office… perfect. Walked over with a friend, and decided to try the chili colorado burrito. Came with chips & salsa for $ 4.50. Got back to the office and hungrily peeled the foil and wax paper back to reveal the burrito. Was a bit messy due to the chili colorado sauce, and was a bit heavy on the beans(they were refried — was expecting whole beans, but no biggie). For the price, it was a good deal and had good flavor. Like the tortilla, wonder if they might be homemade… it was thicker than the typical store-bought tortillas to which I’m accustomed. The accompanying salsa was good and spicy — just slightly too much for me, made me sweat a little as I ate it with the chips(which were solid, nothing particularly outstanding). I will definitely go back again, was happy with my meal — good solid food for a very reasonable price. I am interested in trying the chile relleno burrito!

Señor Burrito is down the street from where I work and he sells out fast. He makes the best burritos! I usually get chicken and bean or chicken and rice. I haven’t tried anything else yet because it’s so good! Great salsa too. Amazing and just 4.50!
