Smart Center Sacramento

My wife and I traveled to Sacramento and met their brand manager, Sara Peschke, who let us take a car out for a test drive. They had a stick shift model there which is what we wanted to try. We had been strongly considering this car and we liked it as well as the no pressure experience so when we found a car that might be available we asked her to try and reserve it. She managed to get the car and it took it about 5 weeks to arrive. Because we live in San Francisco, Sara let us do all of the paperwork via FedEx and everything was signed and ready-​to-​go by the time the car was there. It saved us a ton of time.
I was able to pick up our new smart car after work and everything was detailed and the car was perfect! It is a lot of fun to drive and I was very impressed with the professionalism and my wife and I both agreed it was a painless experience. On my drive home I got about 40 mpg which is excellent.
If you are looking for a quality experience, I would recommend giving Sara a call.

Cool cars + nice, friendly people + clean new facility = smart car fun. I’ve loved these cars since I went to Europe in ’98 and saw them in France, so it was a blast to see them in person here in my hometown. You cannot buy one off the lot (all pre-​sold), but they have cars there to look at up close. I ended up buying a shirt and jacket from the accessories area so I could have my own little piece of the smart car fun.

My interaction with these guys was strictly via phone with the Parts Department, no face to face at all, but they handled things so well I thought it as worth mentioning. They were helpful, actually kept stuff in stock (vs/​ordering only as needed like some other places.), and shipped out something to us same day with zero overcharging on the part or shipping; it arrived next day no fuss no muss.
Can’t speak for sales or service, but the Parts Dept. was the Full Satisfaction Dept. for me.
