My friend bought me a certificate to see Stacey for my birthday a couple of years ago and I started seeing Stacey on a monthly basis on a regular basis after that. She is the queen of deep tissue and knows just the right amount of pressure to apply. She also is very interested in the therapeutic aspect of massage and cares about helping you with chronic soft-tissue pain(which for me is my mid to upper back and forearms — desk jockey). I also have had to see her last minute and, while she keeps a very packed schedule, she does her best to fit you in, in these circumstances. Also, she is competitively priced. If you are a government employee she offers a discount.

I went to Stacey prior to the move after purchasing an amazon local deal. I was so impressed with the massage that I booked my next appointment before I left(which would be at the new location). Similar to another reviewer, when I showed up to the new spot the receptionist had no record of my appointment. She looked confused and Stacey was not in. They called Stacey on her cell and Stacey had no clue about my appointment. I wasn’t offered any apologies nor was I asked to reschedule. I’m waiting for my bitterness to pass because Stacey truly gave the best massage I’ve ever had. I’ve been searching for someone else comparable ever since. So far, no luck. Why did she have to ruin this 4 me?! I REALLY wanted to start doing the massages on a regular schedule. Eventually I’ll give her another chance.

This experience occurred last year, but still stays with me as the worst massage experience I’ve ever had. And I get a lot of massages. Having recently moved to Sac, I got the $ 100 groupon(on my friend’s advice)& specifically requested Stacey, waiting an extra week to get in with her. The morning of the massage, I got a message saying Stacey decided to leave town a day early and I was booked with someone else instead. I’m not sure who actually gave me the massage b/c she never actually introduced herself. The music was annoying, loud, and unprofessional-changed on request. She carried the phone with her and it rang constantly through the massage. The space was small, cramped, and not very clean. The massage was short, and unskilled. I was in pain for 2 days after the massage-first time ever. I wrote twice to Stacey, requesting either a refund or that I be allowed to give my friend the remaining massages, but never heard back from her.

Tonia gave me a one hour massage. She was very pleasant and attentive to my request regarding the amount of pressure. For me, I did not like the massage style. Very slow movements then pinching of muscles for a period of time. Someone else may like this style, but I will not repeat.

Got a massage at their old location because I purchased a Groupon. I bought the summer special which was 4 massages for $ 100 since it was such an awesome deal and the facility and massage was decent. They moved since to this location and my husband made an appointment online and got a confirmation. He showed up for his appointment, knocked at the door and nobody answered. He turned the knob and found it was just a small room with just a bed in the middle. He said it was dingy, dirty, and had dog hair all over. He waited for 15 – 20 minutes and no one showed up. In the meantime I kept calling the massage studio for him to get in contact with someone and left several messages. They called my husband an hour later apologizing and said there must have been some confusion on the online appointment system. They offered a free 1hour massage to make it up. I contacted the owner Stacey Hassen via email and respectfully requested a refund of the Summer Special I purchased because I did not want to get a massage at the new location he described. Both my husband and I have allergies to dog hair. I contacted Stacey Hassen in December 2012 and she said she would mail me a refund check. January 2013 came around and I contacted her many times since to follow up on my refund and up to now have not heard anything from her. She has not responded to my emails or phone calls so she basically blew me off. What kind of customer service is that!!! I will never give her my business! She is a cheat and basically I’m out $ 100!
