This is my new daily Starbucks location. Previously I went to the Arena location but this is closest to my job now. The staff here are fun, friendly and know their regular customers by first name. Love the store manager Michelle. I will go out of my way to come to this location even on the weekend.

My nomination for invention of the year goes to the Starbucks order & pay app. Ok, so maybe it’s not new to everyone, but this girl just discovered the wonders of it and I am such a happy camper! Hate that line that wastes 20 minutes of your precious life? Set your iPhone alarm to go off five minutes before you leave your house to remind you to place your SBux order. Punch your order in and pay through the app(which keeps track of previous orders and preferred locations). Zip on over to your location and wave to all the suckers standing in line as you breeze past them to your waiting drink. Tell your barista thank you and you’re outta there in 20 seconds flat! I pimp the app ordering for this location in particular because as almost every other reviewer has mentioned, lines here are notoriously long. Yes, I love the staff and they are remarkably efficient, but it’s still often a lengthy wait time on weekdays. Also, I’ve used the app here quite a few times and have not had a bad experience yet. Every time I’ve arrived I just jam on down to the pick-up area and my drink is waiting with a label on it. They do keep it behind the partition so that other customers don’t accidentally grab it. Once you can politely grab the barista’s attention, you are good to go. Love it!

I like this Starbucks, yes I do! I like this Starbucks how bout you? I’ve always had good service here. They get my orders right and the drinks are good. They have some bomb ass Almond Roca popcorn and tasty Moon Cheese. I buy them all the time. I’ve heard there are lines in the morning. I never go there in the morning, just the afternoon. The only thing I don’t like about this location is… A couple people who hang out in the patio area. One is a fat, loud, cigar-smoking douche, who hogs two parking spaces with his Mercedes. Dude, you’re the poster child of all douches. The other I won’t mention out of pity.

This one is walking distance from the Marriott, and in a strip mall with many other shops, and a gas station next door. This place gets busy in the morning so expect a 10 – 15 minute wait. The crew there is nice and hustles, it just gets that busy. There is no drive through, but plenty of parking spots. Inside there are plenty of small tables throughout, and one large table for a group. Outdoor tables are available at the front and back. I am a black iced coffee kind of guy, not a soy latte organic frappacino with a swirl guy, so I can’t comment on how good the staff makes drinks, but I see them hustle so I’m sure they’re great. This location is very convenient, clean, and has a nice staff, so it works for me even with the normal wait.

It’s a Starbucks so there isn’t much to comment on food or drink wise since they are all the same. This particular location is by a business park so it is usually very crowded. In the morning there are always extremely long lines usually going out the door. If you go in the morning expect a long wait– at least 15 to 20 minutes. I give it 3 stars only for the huge waits frequently experienced. Staff is always nice but I think they need more of them!

Came in to get a much needed coffee and waited for a long time. On top of that a guy that ordered after me received his drink a hot chai before the customers in front of me. So rude. They seemed to be understaffed for this lunch time rush. Don’t think I’ll come back to this location. Not even a fan of Starbucks, just needed coffee and there is a few close by. Really my only choices.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in Sacramento, but like all Starbucks, sometimes you have excellent experiences, and sometimes they are average to below average. I have frequented this location for years and lately my experiences here have been better and better. The baristas are very friendly, make excellent drinks, and SOME give exceptionally great customer service. One huge plus about this location is that they serve Starbucks Reserve coffee from their special Clover brewing machine, which uses a vacuum-like technology to make high-grade coffee taste even better. So far, not many Starbucks in the area have this machine. A few things I didn’t like about this location — 1. A couple times I got a worker that was not familiar with Starbucks refill policy. You do not have to solely order coffee to get a coffee refill. 2. The temperature inside is fairly cold, which makes it uncomfortable to stay and sit for very long. But I’m guessing that’s probably their intention. 3. The electric sockets are so loose. If you try to plug anything in, it’s very likely it will fall out. Overall, it IS Starbucks, they serve all the typical Starbucks drinks and La Boulange pastries. It is a great location and great place to meet people for a brief hangout.

Love this Starbucks location! As a special treat, I get a latte once or twice a week. After reading some of the reviews, I am surprised what some Unilocalers said about poor customer service and long wait times. Natasha, Matt, and Jenn always provide amazing customer service. On many mornings there has been a long line out the door; however, it has never taken more than about five minutes to get my coffee. If there is ever a mistake or problem, they are always quick to fix it with a smile. In addition to a great dining room, there is outdoor seating. It is a great location to enjoy a cup of coffee, snack, and a conversation with a friend while enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors. I would highly recommend this Starbucks for your next coffee!

I love coffee and I love me some Starbucks, but this location deserves a good review and I’ll tell ya why. So there I was. on a typical work day… falling asleep at the 2pm mark when I decided to recharge the batteries a little… so off I went through the windy trails and spooky forests to this little know place called… Starbucks… I know. you’ve probably never heard of it. anywho… the word was out apparently cause this place was poppin!!! Line out the door packed type of day… wamp wamp(for me, not the business). BUT, I was thirsty and had to have me some joe!!! So I held out, tried to make conversation with the people in line but I was the weird guy trying to talk to other people and not buried in my phone so I quickly got shunned… but not by the staff! They were awesome! Super friendly, not rushed or frazzled but they were movin so fast I was impressed at how fast I got through that long line. And at long last, I was with my coffee and happy and awake! For the 2 hours till it wore off… so what, I’m addicted to coffee. could be worse… On a serious note, I have been to this location a couple times and the staff is consistently in a great mood, helpful, and quick to get you your order! THANKSTOTHEMANAGERATTHISSTORE! You have a GREAT team working there! They all deserve a raise, and a new car, and a pony.(And no, I do not work here. or know anyone who works here, or affiliated in anyway with Starbucks) haha!!!

What happened to this place in the past few months??? Staff is very nice but constantly frazzled and getting orders wrong. The last time I ordered an Americano, I got what looked like dirty water(obviously a mistake, but it should have been noticed). Very dirty in the front and back, and smells bad in the afternoon. I assume because of a lack of consistent cleaning. Please someone fix whatever is going on with this location. It used to be awesome.

Worst Starbucks experience ever. I went to this one because the other one is kinda sketchy, it’s early morning and dark out still, and I’m female so was being cautious. Shoulda waited til the sun came up and gone there. Here — 2 baristas just argued over what exactly is in a flat white and had to ask a manager. Second, there is a sign advertising«breakfast wraps» — I chose one of the three varieties in the under 300 cals selection. I was told«oh no the only wrap is the spinach feta. The rest are sandwiches»… Oh. I must have forgotten how to READ. It got worse. They called out the various orders by item not by name so I wasn’t sure if that was«my» flat white so it sat there and got cold. They called out«breakfast sandwich» instead of «spinach feta wrap»… So it too sat there. With no label on it. Getting cold for 10 min while I watched at least 4 people touch it and peek inside. EFFINGGROSS!!! I finally asked where mine was and was told that was it. I asked why they no longer take names — the Barista said«oh because we are too busy» — really? You mean to tell me it’s more efficient to yell out«double tall no fat no whip caramel macchiato with 2 extra pumps of caramel syrup» than«Jennifer»?! Never again. I’ll go to the sketchy one.

I go to school right up the street in the evening, so naturally I would like to get a coffee on my way to class just after working a long 9 hour day. I typically arrive at 5:10/5:15pm and I’m usually not out of there until 5:25pm with my drink in hand. There’s usually one person at the register and one, maybe two people making drinks. Unsure why it takes so long. The layout of this store is also really cramped. The line for the register goes across the walkway to the door, so there’s always someone blocking the door. The«waiting area» for drinks is also rather small. A remodel is definitely needed to utilize space appropriately.

This location is right by my job so it is super convenient. The lines is the morning and around lunch can be really ridiculous. Like… super long… but the baristas always work really quickly to get everyone served in a reasonable amount of time. I usually avoid going in between 745 – 9. Other than that, it’s great. They get my order right, they are friendly and the store is clean.

I love the consistency of Starbucks — the same drinks, the same food, and the same décor wherever you go. So, when I came to this location at the southeast corner of River Plaza Drive and Gateway Oaks(behind the Shell station, very close to the 5 Freeway), I was watching for the customer service. It is not very good here. I ordered a Venti Vanilla Rooibos Tea with Nonfat Foam. The staff person turns to the tea station and asks Grande? No, Venti. She puts the two tea bags in and asks for nonfat milk with a lot of foam from the barrista. Then, she rings up «Earl Grey.» I say that’s Vanilla Rooibos, right? She looks bewildered. Whoops! That sounds better, she says. Yes, it does. I hate Earl Grey, and I have now had to tell you my order three times in about 40 seconds to get the right thing. Seriously? Pay attention, sister. But, the Venti Vanilla Rooibos Tea with Nonfat Foam($ 2.45) was ready in another 10 seconds, which I appreciate. It was delicious as always. I also ordered the Turkey Bacon Sandwich($ 3.45). It is a whole wheat English muffin that is topped with a tri-fold of turkey bacon and an egg white. You have to bust open the sandwich and rip the bacon yourself if you want to have even meat coverage. Everything in the sandwich is a little chewy — I think that this is because they are re-heated rather than eing freshly made. It is a tasty option if you are in a real hurry to get a relatively healthy meal with your beverage, but I would rather have a breakfast sandwich someplace else that is cooking the egg and broiling the meat and the muffin rather than using a microwave. It is a clean location — aren’t they all? There is a men’s restroom as well as women’s(I love that they are separate here). There are about 10 or so tables at which to enjoy your bevvies(not huge but not tiny).

Birthday time! Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frapp. It was all good until the barista dipped the top of the crunch topping container into my whipped cream. I suppose everyone was having a mixed up day. I asked for drink coupons, and immediately came the blank stares. One girl passed the buck to another lady, muttering under her breath, «I’ll let you take care of that». The lady stared at me, I asked for some drink coupons for waiting for a long time and for our drinks getting messed up. And then the light bulb went off. Oh, okay. And the two drink coupons came walking my way. We ordered a grande coffee Frapp 2% with whip and a tall caramel ribbon crunch Frapp 2% with an add shot. Then we asked for ice in our 3 reusable cups. They had our reusable cups marked for our coffee drinks, and after correcting them, my add shot was transferred 3 times before making it into the right cup. If you don’t know, an add shot of espresso costs ~80¢, and it’s sticking to the sides of 3 other cups, and I’ll never get it back. Thanks for the memories. The drinks were alright when we finally got them. And the vouchers will be amazing for our next Junkie check-in. Remind your staff not to touch the whipped cream with the bottles or containers.

I am a big fan of this location. I drop by occasionally in the morning just before I head into work. The baristas here are not only friendly, but efficient. They are darn good at catering to the customer’s need. Sometimes I come here with my colleague and we both have certain requests we’d like for our drinks. For me, I often order my chai tea cold, with less syrup pump than it comes with and with fat-free milk. My colleagues orders this espresso drink with modifications I can’t seem to remember… but the staffs here recognized my face in just three visits and even remembered how I like my drink by then. No matter how busy this place gets in the morning, it amazes me how little I have to wait before my drinks gets to me. This tells me that the staff here not only enjoys their job but they are proficient as well. It took me 2 recent visits to notice that a remodel was done, usually I’m in here and out so quickly that I don’t notice my surroundings. Often times it’s the small things that makes me happy to come back. Today for example, my barista wrote my name with hearts next to it. I thought it was a cute gesture and gave my thanks. :)

This is the Starbucks closest to me, and it’s always been great. The staff are awesome, and always make me kick-ass drinks, whether my mocha or hot chocolate with peppermint drinks when it’s cold, or the sweetened tropical iced tea or iced peppermint mocha when the weather gets warmer. Plus, the new La Boulange pastry items are really good, so it’s got that going for it as well :-) So, until we retire and finally move outta Tax-afornia, I’m gonna keep coming to this little gem of a Starbucks store!
