Subway

I don’t know too much of how the other employees make sandwiches but whenever Jess makes my turkey bacon avocado it absolutely delicious. She takes the time to toast the bread and bacon and then put on my turkey which I know can be a bit of nuisance in a lunch rush. Their produce is as fresh as one could expect for a subway and the turn around time is fairly quick. I don’t frequent subway a lot but this is my preferred shop for sure.

For some reason the sandwiches here are better than most other Subway locations. Rosemary is great.

Worst Subway I’ve ever been to. Food was fine. Bathrooms out of order… I couldn’t even wash my hands. Sandwich maker was totally stoned and was working in slow motion. There was only one sandwich maker at noon on a Saturday… really? No healthy sides for kids (apples gone). We wiped down our own table and the place was filthy. Avoid this subway at all costs.

Owner/​Manager has horrible customer service skills. He pretended not to see me, then checks me out, and immediately pulls out his cell phone while standing behind the register. I will not eat here again. I work too hard for my money to give it to someone with a bad attitude, and piss poor customer service.

What happen to all the $ 5 footlong? My friend said its because they don’t need our money any more jokingly. I got my black forest ham with pepper jack cheese and extra mayonnaise. Because they seem to add less meat than shown in pictures, I just ask for hella vegetables to make up for the lack of meat. By the time they are done stuffing it, I’m left with a huge sandwich.

Not the best subway. Skimpy on the toppings. Owner has a bad attitude and they close before dinner time. Well worth the journey to go to the one on P street.

Ate here again trying to give it another chance. The sandwhich was more like 4 inchs. Meatball sub. very little sauce and only 3 meatballs which that’s all you put on sub so it was nothing to admire. the workmenship was extremely poor. Just slopped together. Ice machine out of order and coke flat. Disappointed all around.

The restaurant is well run – it is clean, the staff is friendly, and they’re fast. Subways are usually run pretty well, and this store is no exception. The only negative is that the air conditioning doesn’t work very well, so it’s hot inside the store during the summer months. However, the veggies are always fresh, the meat is always the right temperature, and it’s a good little shop. I recommend.

What happen to $ 5 footlongs now $ 6.50 talk about inflation. The sandwiches are awesome with fresh juicy veggies :)

Subways are pretty much all the same. This one deserves a review because the staff is awesome. Spicy Italian all day. There are honestly better sandwich places in this area (hey its midtown!) but the staff gets me in and out. If my time is short its always good for a quick bite.

I go here for lunch a few times a week. This is a great little Subway. Parking is easy, its never busy, and the staff are friendly. Check it out!

This subway is next to Ernestos on 16^th st. I came here at about 7:40 AM for a $ 5 footlong to nom nom for bfast and lunch. Unfortunately, there were only about four $ 5 footlong choices that I’ve never had b4. The turkey breast was $ 6 :(
Anyway, they had just opened forth day so I guess it has to be clean. But… I have seen stores that weren’t cleaned well the night b4 n still dirty in the morning, so this is good. The guy behind the counter was working on cookies b4 the other customer walked in.
He took his time with the customer n wasn’t very talkative. So I thought he was mad that he had to work so early or something. When he got to me he was also quiet but made a clean, neat sandwich. I asked for extra onions n he made me proud. He grabbed some extra and then grabbed some more! Awesome. I love onions. I engaged in a small convo with him while paying n he was friendly.
I like this subway bc the street is not very bz in the morning like J. I chose this one bc of the very few Unilocal reviews on the dt subways it had the higher rating. The guy who helped me doesn’t skimp on the veggies. This is nice.

That’s right. I’m giving this Subway full marks.
I’ve been going here since Mar. 2010 — And I’m always satisfied.
Then again, I usually get the same three things (but on different bread).
Anyway, full marks for several reasons:
The owner of this franchise actually works the counter; priding themselves on attending SU (Subway University), so they actually can make a good sub. Granted, it’s pretty hard to screw up a sandwich.
I can’t say I’ve ever had bad veggies, maybe they were a bit limp or yellowed, but considering it’s a $ 5 foot long…
The deli sliced meat is processed to a delicious level…
And half the time I’ve been here, the bread is fresh! As in, hot out of the oven, and still warm when I sit down to eat my sub.
Probably because of their proximity to state buildings, they base their
hours around those needs.
All in all, you get what you pay for: a cheap, filling, sandwich.
Also, the tattooed guy who works the counter, is awesome — He cuts the bread with a V-​shape rather than a straight angle, so all the goodies stay in sandwich.

I think that the service here is alright. Its usually pretty quiet here, with perhaps one of two tables taken up. The place itself is semi-​spacious and clean. However, on the day that I came, they did not have many options in terms of bread. FYI– this is in downtown, so keep in mind that this place closes up EARLY.

The worst subway in town, period! I love Subway because of their 5 dollars foot long sandwich deal. I usually go to the one in J st near midtown. Last week I came to this place because I had to buy Chinese newspaper in the near by Chinese store. I ordered my usual chicken breast sandwich. Dang, the meat was horrible; and the veggies were frozen. I could taste the frigging ICE when I took a bite into it. Not coming back definitely…

I could really eat lunch here everyday. I do at least once a week. Does that make me a ‘regular’?
The service is friendly, which is part of the reason I keep coming back, the other is of course the four dollar lunch.
