Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes

Many friends and family is buried here. God bless them all who visits and is at rest here.

I’m not happy with the way the grave markers are not sprayed or weeded around. We always have to trim grass away from our loved ones headstone. It’s very sad to visit and find it all overgrown.

The staff is wonderful — very helpful and kind. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. I was surprised to see that the cremation is done right on site. The entire facility and experience is set up to take the worries away — so people can in grieve in peace.

We were treated well by the staff, and they clearly explained everything we needed to know. We had several options to choose from, and the prices were reasonable. Sunset Lawn made it easy for us take care of our plans.

This place was so wonderful to me when my mother died. The staff is amazing, patient and very caring. The cemetery is beautiful and wonderfully maintained. Met some of the grounds keepers when mom was buried and they were so nice.

Strange to review a funeral home, but in this case I’m hoping the director there will take notice. The chapel was nice. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Only two stars because one of the directors of the funeral was, on several occasions, whispering, smiling, and laughing like she was at a baby shower; talking and giggling to the other funeral director and to the priest himself.
Now I’ve been to services for people who have led successful lives and experienced wonderful things. The mood is on the lighter side and in celebration of their life. This was not that kind of occasion. My friend’s son had died, at 10 mos. old, weeks after being diagnosed with a rare, brain-​degenerative genetic disorder. The final moments of his life, before going on life support, were painful and desperate. We all knew this.
To the woman with long, red hair, I wanted to slap you. How dare you show such insensitivity, right in front of the parents and next to the casket! I know this is your job, you’ve become desensitized I guess, but you should be ashamed of yourself. Your behavior was extremely inappropriate.
