I live for tea and I’m picky. I always wanted to visit this place but always caught it when it was closed. I finally got lucky. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I walked in for just an herbal night time tea and a green tea. I walked out with those and more… like a chai tea, lemon tea, honey, tea bags and a cup. Once i got home and i brewed a cup of each. If you were to ask me what my favorite was… all of them!

I love loose leaf tea and I’m glad I’ve found this place in Sac! They offer a huge variety of white, green, and black tea that will keep you coming back to sample all of them. I also like that you can order by the ounce so you don’t have to buy a large quantity and get sick of one kind of tea. When I was not sure what to get, they were quick to offer me suggestions. So far, I’ve tried the assam, royal tiger, and black currant tea — all are great black teas that keep me up in the morning at work. Will be black to try more!

So many teas to choose from at very reasonable prices in comparison to the bigger tea shops in malls and etc. The staff was very knowledgeable of the tea. I bought a black mango and it was delicious.

Always a splendid experience their pepper chia is absolutely phenomenal. Folks are very knowledgeable about tea and are very friendly, they don’t try to act artisanal that is so trendy right now. Just good folks, putting out good products for actual affordable prices. It is a must visit for the tea drinking enthusiast.

My brother has always sent me Tea Cozy selections to my home in L.A. so it was great getting to visit in person! They’ve got a great selection of loose leaf teas that you can buy by the ounce(most are $ 2 an oz FYI). I very easily could’ve been there a long time just smelling the different types trying to figure out which one(s) I’d be walking home with. It was a tough call! They also said they can send me tea directly so they might be getting some mail orders from me! Just something to keep in mind: they close a bit in the late afternoon. I’m assuming for lunch/dinner. Just note that they could be closed if you’re there around that time.

Every time I have visited the Tea Cozy it smells so wonderful ! Their teas are of great quality and not as pricey as some of the other places I’ve shopped. Their staff is always pleasant and helpful. I recommend this place for tea lovers.

Amazing Teas & Delicious Imported Canned Goods! SITREP What I love about Tea Cozy most is the complete diversity of products this place stocks that have nothing to do with Tea! Yes, there IS lots of tea here. But this place is so much more. It essentially is a wonderful British import store for hard-to-find items you may not locate anywhere else. VEGETARIANHAGGIS! I mean, where are you going to find THAT! And very tasty too(and not too salty as I had feared!) — think of this vegetarian version as a delicious alternative that doesn’t have all the stinky meaty parts in it — but you can still wash it down with a glass of Scotch! BUTTHETEAS… Yes, I know, but as the name implies, this is a spot for teas. And they have an elegant variety you won’t find in Bel Air or Safeway. The«Warming Joy» teas are a BIT luxurious in price($ 17), but the varietals are wonderful when served hot, and they include flavors such as Sweet Orange Spice, Spiced Ginger Plum and Winter Chai: THELOWDOWN From teas, to imported taste-treats, to the odd wonderful little knick-knacks and bags, Tea Cozy has some great finds for the Anglophile missing home, or just as locals enjoying some new treats!

This is the absolute best place to buy tea in the Sacramento area. The customer service is excellent and the staff is always friendly. The prices are more than reasonable. I often find myself stopping in to refill my favorites, but end up leaving with a bag full of delicious types I haven’t tried before.

I’ve been missing the UK something fierce, as I’m coming up on almost a decade since my last visit. This is every Anglophile’s dream! I’m always looking for places that sell digestives and lion bars, for one. Additionally, what a lovely collection of tea she has here! Loose leaf, Taylor’s(I was specifically on the look out for Scottish Breakfast and it didn’t take me long to find it.), Twinings, and all the additional bits and bobs. I found everything I came in for and extras as well. When I enquired after some other products my family fell in love with during our last visit, I was assured that they could look into ordering them for me. The shop is small, but according to the owner, she started out in an even smaller part of the same little annex 17 years ago. For the size, there is quite a selection. You’ll find just what the name suggests here, tea in a cozy shop.

Calling all Downton Abbey fans, this is where you can stock up on all your tea drinking supplies. From teapots and tea socks(seriously best tea infuser ever-no leaves in your cup!) to the fancy little strainers that you hold over each cup. Awesome customer service and the best part is the prices are so REASONABLE. Stop going to that poser tea shop in the mall and discover the best little local gem in Sacramento. You’re welcome.

I walked into my sister’s dream store: a store full of delicious tea, little spoons(yes, little spoons from everywhere in all different styles!), and candy from the UK. Heaven. I purchased some artwork here, done by a local artist. Tea selection is amazing. Very very lovely staff, and clean store in the building next to Fox and Goose. What more could you want?

I got it in my head that I should start drinking tea, so I Unilocaled it and found this place. It’s located within a building with other stores and is also in the same building as Fox & Goose. The place is small but there’s a large variety of tea. I sniffed some tea leaves on the rack, and then asked if they had a listing of the tea leaves they sell. The woman was friendly and took tea canisters from behind the counter for me to smell the ones I inquired about. In the end, I decided to purchase the wild strawberry and chocolate black tea, which came pre-packaged in 1.5 ounce bags. Out of the two, wild strawberry is a must. Sometimes I like to open the bag and just sniff it.

Great little place that turned around a shitty second Saturday. We wandered in here on accident and decided we couldn’t leave without picking up a few ounces of loose leaf tea. The owner was very helpful and clearly had vast knowledge of all things tea. She quickly made recommendations for my dad and me, letting me smell the teas as she talked about them. For tea noobs like me, it was like Teavana, but more personal(and with better prices.) What’s also nice is that you can get as much or as little tea as you’d like, you’re not forced to buy a whole cannister. I also left with an infuser that she recommended, which I’ve really enjoyed using. I’m converted — no more tea bags for this girl! It was so sweet how patient she was being with us. I know how annoying it is dealing with people who are completely clueless about something you’re passionate about. After reading the other reviews, I’ve picked out some more teas to try and I’m excited to head back.

”Would you like a cup of Tea?” Yes, being a Brit I totally lived up to the stereotype of being a Tea lover by coming here. I couldn’t help it, the place is so cute! The store is fairly small and stocks a huge selection of Tea’s, I doubt anyone could come here and not find at least 3 or 4 variety’s that didn’t grab their attention. Most of them are loose with some of the flavors I have not yet seen anywhere else but they do also sell a small selection of Tea Bags too. As well as the Tea’s you can also find some British imports such as *Digestive Biscuits, Shortbread, Chocolate Bars, Sandwich sauces including Marmite and even Christmas Pudding! Some of the prices are pretty high, expected considering they are imported but be sure to check the dates! Definitely a great place to come for all of your Tea needs. *A lesson in British: Biscuit = A small unleavened sweet, crispy cake. Basically what you call a Cookie this side of the Pond.
