The Oaks at Hackberry

Great experience at Oaks at Hackberry. Just moved out after 18 months. Leaving area or would have stayed. Manager, Nory, is great. Nice new apartments. Grounds nicely maintained. Had no maintenance issues while there. Love how professional the process, both moving in and moving out, was. I knew exactly what to expect.

Best apartment experience I’ve had!
The Oaks at Hackberry is a relatively new complex with everything you need — units are spacious, they have stainless steel appliances, lots of lighting, and big washer and dryers. The complex is gated, you get a parking space, the parking lot is very well lit, and there is a pool and grill. The community director, Nory, and other staff are awesome — they really take care of you and make you feel at home.
The only negatives I can think of is the community «gym,» which is a small room with a couple machines. Wasn’t an issue for me, since 24 Hour Fitness is a short drive away. The surrounding area also might look a little sketchy to some, but I never felt unsafe and there was never a safety issue during my stay.
Really loved it here! Only left because I moved out of the area, but you won’t regret it! I recommend you check them out if you are looking for an apartment in the area.

I had a rough start but ended up loving my apartment. I was the first person to live in my apartment so no one knew the microwave didn’t work. A week later my air conditioning broke. It sacked because I didn’t even have a fan to sleep at night. All was fixed within a couple weeks.
I also needed sprayed for bugs the first couple months. The front loading washer is a bummer because they smell horrible and need cleaned AL the time. I agree the neighborhood is a bit sketchy at night. During the day it seems fine. Parking is also very limited.
I love that I have a patio for plants. I like that I have a gas stove and all new appliances. The kitchen has a lot of cabinet space, which is handy. All around I like the apartment and wish I didn’t have to move soon.

GORGEOUS, brand new, gas range, stainless steel everything, granite counters in kitchen and bathroom, dark wood laminate in kitchen and bathroom, super sexy light fixture in the dining area, washer/​dryer, dishwasher… IN. LOVE.
Went here for a tour with Nori (total doll
of a manager, super sweet) but I was too late. With in 2 days of making my appointment, the last 3 available units had been rented and I ended up being ass out. Literally almost cried upon finding out this info. I’m not kidding.
I’d like to only give them 4 stars because the neighborhood is gross and they have car «ports» where I’d prefer a garage but… I love the apartments interior SO MUCH I HAVE to give them 5 stars. I was literally dreaming of living here, being that it’s brand new and I would have been the very 1^st person to occupy the space. There’s something so awesome about that, something I can’t describe besides… It’s an OCD persons absolute DREAM. *Sigh* Oh well… I guess I’ll have to continue my search. Evidently it wasn’t meant to be… WAAAAAAAAA!
