Love this place and Angela Pratt’s vision to support our Edible City with plant, supplies, education and classes. She is an inspiration and has got me excited about gardening again. Can’t wait to see this shop evolve over time.

So, this place is amazing. I’ve been watching it get built for months now, and it was worth the wait!
All the plants are reasonably priced, and the planting pots are out of this world. The staff are really nice and helpful. They don’t use pesticides on their plants, so I feel good about purchasing edibles there. There is ample parking, and just so much to see. There is a great community building here in Oak Park and this nursery is a great addition!

I like this place a lot ! it has a kind of casual homey garden vibe that’s inviting. I think they are still trying to work the kinks out and I feel like their employees are still learning the ropes themselves, but overall friendly and knowledgable service. They sell some less commonly carried plants you wouldn’t find in a big box dept stores and their prices are way more competitive then some of the larger nurseries in the area. They have decorative items for your garden and also for indoors. They sell air plants and terrariums at super reasonable price ! I’m so excited and happy with my purchase today ! Can’t wait to come back to see what we will find on our next visit :)

A great new nursery right in Oak Park. It’s different and I think it has great potential. They have decided to carry some unusually plants and the annuals I saw are not your usual plants either. The prices are in line and I can’t wait until they have thier GRAND OPENING very soon.

What a find! Had no idea that a nursery had opened in Oak Park and was having brunch at the nearby Oak Park Brewery and took a walk down the street and happened upon the Plant Foundry. They stock organic garden starts (which are often limited in our local nurseries), Blooms perennials, and Annie’s Annuals — three of the things I most look for in a nursery all in one place. Plants are in FANTASTIC shape, lots of cool random things for your patio and outdoors. The recycled plastic outdoor mats are on my wish list. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Reasonable prices … what more could you ask for? Not much in my book. My new favorite nursery in Sacramento! Go Oak Park!!!
