I had the turkey club, it was good, the amount of bacon was so little I had to check if it was actually there though, lacked a little flavor and moisture but still was better then subway. Nothing about it blew my mind but it wasn’t bad by any means. I’d go back to try other sandwiches.

Ordered a plethora of sandwiches for the family today, good prices and quality food. Those cookies they sell are a definite must!

I want to give the wonderful girl a hug for such an amazing sandwich. I ordered The Big Lebowski on dutch crunch with pepperjack… nailed it! This has got to be one of the best sandwiches i have ever had. The bread is great. The roof of my mouth was not ripped to shreds, nor did i have to eat like a savage and shred the bread just to eat it. Perfection. I’m not from the area, but if i’m on the road for work again and need to quick pit stop, i wpuld definitely come back. Sidenote: bathroom was very clean. The restaurant itself is clean as well, and comfortable to be in. 5 stars.

I first tried The Sandwich Spot in San Mateo, and was impressed. Living in the Easy Bay, I’d always have to travel to the peninsula for sandwiches. After moving up North from the Bay Area, I noticed Sacramento had tons of Sandwich Spots everywhere(which is awesome). I love the movie themed sandwich names. Great sandwich options, no favorites in particular, bc I’m always trying a new one. Every one Ive tried is packed with flavor, and every Sandwich Spot I’ve visited always had great customer service.

I love eating here. I mostly come on Thursdays when they have tri-tip sandwiches. If you haven’t tried it, you have to right away. I love the sandwich and the bomb sauce that they add. After reading some reviews on here, they really should do better on hours and possibly offering the tri-tip sandwich more than once a week, The food is 5 stars. The service is 4 stars. Overall one of the best sandwiches.

I absolutely love this place! I love hot pastrami, and have had a hard time finding one with good flavor in the Sacramento area. However, the #7 James Bond on dutch crunch at the Sandwich Spot is delicious! I have a hard time not coming here weekly for lunch(if my metabolism was on my side I would!). The location is fairly easy to find, interior is small with about 12 tables or so, and the staff friendly. All of their subs are movie themed which I don’t exactly understand, but it’s fun so whatever. One of these days I’ll have to try something different as all of their sandwiches sound amazing.

When looking for a great sandwich place, don’t waste your time, nor your money, this place it’s by far the best place in my opinion. My family also preferred this place over over, JimmyJohn’s, Chicago Sandwich and Subway! It is definitely a place to try. The service is a bit slow at this location, but it’s worth it!

Can’t go wrong with this place. It’s a franchise so just be aware that there’s a different menu at each location. Really good sandwich options

The store closes at 4:00 pm on Sunday. Arrived at 3:45 pm and doors locked/closed with no sign stating that they will be closing early. Advise you call ahead to see if they’re actually opened during their stated store operating hours.

Went yesterday on a friends recommendation with my wife, first of all who puts vegetables on a hot sandwich? especially lettuce?. the sandwich I had came with 3 sauces on it, teriyaki, BBQ and something called the BOMB sauce, it was a major BOMB, the 3 sauces mixed together created a vinegary flavor and with chicken and cheese it just didn’t work. I might try this place again because I love the Dutch Crunch bread, we’ll see.

Plz change hours of operations I can never find a time to go and trust me you’ll get much more business during dinner hours, even if you were open until only 8pm.

Been to sandwich spots before. They are 100 times better than any subway. A little bit more expensive but the sandwiches actually have meat n them instead of a whole lot of lettuce. The people are friendly and quick. They are all themed. This one is movie themed. The be by my work is Moulan Rouge. Themed meaning the sandwich names. Haven’t been to a subway since finding these. Try it out.

The only problem with the sandwich spot is the location. It has a lot of competition and its kind of hidden on the side of a strip mall. Other than that it’s fantastic! The sandwiches aren’t too expensive and they give you a pretty large sandwich. We received our orders quick, everything tasted fantastic, the workers were friendly, and we left satisfied. This is a definite must try!

Good but like another person said basic. Good flavor and reasonable price. Someone told me that The Sandwich Spot was rated number 1 in Sacramento. I haven’t tried that many places but I give it 4 on my list

Yum! I was surprised at how delicious this little spot turned out to be. Tucked away off of Truxel, it was a spot of curious interest when I was taking my lunch break during an all day training class across the street. I was in the mood for a yummy sammie and this is precisely what I received here. All the sandwiches on the menu are named after famous blockbuster films. You also have the option of inventing your own cold sandwich with whatever ingredients you want. I ordered a turkey avocado on the dutch crunch bread, which came out warm and delicious. Sandwiches are a very generous portion here, and I could hardly fit the whole thing in my gob. I would suggest not adding mayo onto the sandwiches that already have bomb sauce(no idea what this is other than super tasty, tangy, and spicy secret sauce) and cream cheese(trying to copy beach hut? The sandwiches are bigger but don’t taste as fresh as the ol’ hut). I did that accidentally and it was overkill. The theme is super adorable. Movie posters adorn the walls and popcorn buckets serve as storage for straws and condiments. All in all, a yummy, but extremely fattening, sandwich experience.

Best sandwiches. I’ll start there. The Dutch crunch is really good. Also the bomb sauce I get in everything and high recommend. The staff is always really friendly as well. Support a local business!

I’ve been here twice now with my fiancé, and both experiences have been very different. The first one, amazing. Great customer service, and food was delicious. I got the Ferris Bueller one and he got the LOTR.(Btw, didn’t really care for the movie theme, didn’t make much sense to us and I didn’t get what it had to do with each sandwich and the name of the place.) I haven’t found any places in Sac that serve dutch crunch bread so I was excited for that as well. Second visit, horrible. We came in and we were the only ones there. We got the sandwiches to go as we did the first time. Eating them at home, we first noticed that there were ingredients on there that we didn’t want. After taking a few bites, we realized they didn’t put all the same sauces and the bread was very soft, tasted kinda old too. I couldn’t understand how they could mess up our order this bad especially being the only customers there. Even worse, the next day, we both felt sick. Our symptoms were around the same times with each other too so it must have been the food. The bread tasted old, so who knows what else may have been old. The two stars are for our first visit. Inconsistency especially this bad took away the rest for me. I hope everyone else won’t have the same experience we had.

Excellent customer service and even better food! Super excited this place is here now. I got the #6 with roast beef, cream cheese, and bomb sauce. Make sure you get the bomb suace with any sandwich you get! If you’re nervous to try it, just have them add it on the side and they’ll gladly do it. Also, you must try their giant cookies! So yummy. I will def be a repeat customer. Welcome to Natomas guys!
