My husband and I visited here on Wednesday at around 11:00 am, and we were literally the only people in the restaurant(no complaints here on that… quiet meals are always a good thing). Our waiter, Stuart, was very attentive. I ordered their Sourdough French toast and hubby ordered their weekday pancake special. The French toast was very yummy! The bacon was excellent, as was the fruit that came on the side. The sausage was good too, very flavorful. He enjoyed the pancakes… he got a side order of potatoes to go with his breakfast. The portion size of their side orders was HUGE. The potatoes came out in this big bowl… easily enough for both of us. Hubby said they were his favorite part of his meal. The place is a smidge pricey… for both of us it came out to $ 23 pre-tip. Their menu on their website is out of date… prices have gone up a dollar. The reason for only 4 stars for this place was that the portion of my French toast wasn’t big enough to fill me up. I left the restaurant a bit hungry. Regardless we definitely plan on going back!

Open for breakfast and lunch from Tuesday-Sunday at Town & Country Village(The Collections). It’s a lovely little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, good food, nice staff. I just had an unfortunate brunch visit. The server started speaking of the special, got lost, i think, because he opened his book and started quickly reading the rest off. Server brought out my juice. My juice glass had a lip print on it. Being served a dirty glass– Unfortunate. No one came by until the food was ready but I would hope to catch the attention of the other server serving his people in the meantime. no such luck. The tables are clothed with an overlay on top. The linen was stained. Unfortunate. Food came. Good portions. Homemade jam with toast. My server offered me hot sauce. I thought it would be good so I said yes please, bring me hot sauce. He brought me a practically empty bottle. Like, 2 splash Tabasco and that was pretty useless. and unfortunate. I just sat there like, What the fuck? I wouldn’t drive to The Terrace. I’d say it’s for those that live in the area or for post funeral get togethers. I dropped off flowers after a funeral here once and that got me thinking– this is ideal. And that’s only in hopes that sitting there thinking ‘What the fuck?’ isn’t a normal occurrence.

Ick. The plates were DIRTY(old food stuck to the bottoms!), the service poor(food came out for each of us 10 minutes apart!), Eggs Benedict was COLD, while the potatoes were scalding, forgot the bacon on one plate, the sausage on another, and NOAPOLOGY! We will NEVERRETURN!

One of the best BBQ pulled pork sandwiches I’ve had! Made with the chef’s own secret BBQ sauce, caramelized apples and mounded between two slices of house made, rosemary focaccia which is baked on-site daily. This thing had very well balanced flavors and contrast between the apparent, yet subtle heat in the BBQ sauce combined with the sweet caramelized apples. Over all, highly recommended. Overall environment and experience was nothing to get too excited over and at times felt a little bit weird. This is a pretty small area with a empty host station as you walk in and where you’ll mostly stand and wait until someone notices and promptly rushes over to seat you. At first you question whether it’s seat yourself and find yourself walking down to the kitchen entrance to peak around hoping to get noticed. We actually sat near the entrance and I found this to be a common occurrence for most people. Our order was taken pretty quickly but I did notice most people not receiving service as prompt to the point where they had to mention it. Perhaps understaffed on our visit. Once ordered, the wait is pretty excessive and I noticed this to be common for all tables and not just ours. Even with the wait times, the service is very friendly and pleasant I must say. Overall, I’d probably go back if in the mood for a pulled pork sandwich and not in a hurry.

Nice ambiance. It seems like a really great place to take you grandma to lunch. Its large, open, well lit and clean. The Focaccia bread is awesome, but the server the oil and balsamic in a small bowl, and its hard to get the vinegar with the oil. Food was good, a little expensive. $ 11.95 for the terrace burger. Comes with fries or a salad. Salad is served with a lite vinagrette. Portion size is good, you definitely wont leave hungry.

We had a lovely Mother’s Day brunch. Service was good, food was very good. For a buffet, the selections were a little limited, but we enjoyed everything.

I ordered the basic breakfast and my eggs, potato and bacon were all fine; just expensive. The service was very slow and for other diners in ear shot, spotty. I would not come hear again, even though the food was good. They are just charging to much for what other folks do better!

We had brunch here on a Sunday. The servers seemed a little bit underwhelming for the server to customer ratio. There was a bit too much waiting on our part. The restaurant is located in the rear of the Town and Country Village shopping center. The prices were just a little higher than necessary for the atmosphere. I liked the bacon, the eggs had no seasoning and the pancakes were, well they were pancakes. Seemed like mostly neighborhood regulars were utilizing the place. We would probably just go to Noah’s Bagels next time we find ourselves in that area. Update: since I just got an email on the topic… the only seasoning that I expect on over-easy eggs is a salt/pepper combo. Both of these are, admittedly, available on the table… but when I cook food for people to eat, I use the salt and pepper. It’s just polite.

I love this place. I love the atmosphere, and the way they make me feel like a long lost friend when I visit. I love the white table cloths and ambiance and light, and it’s not too girlie to take the husband to. The food is mostly excellent — The hubster had the gravy and biscuits last weekend and they were awesome,(a real man’s portion) I had the vegetable fritatta, again yummy. Homemade jams and jelly’s again are a highlight. They drop a star for service. I love the wait staff, don’t get me wrong and they are partly the reason that I go back time and time again, however, I could see it would be irritating to have drinks forgotten when you’re one a handful of customers. But they make up for it in charm. Updated: Service is back… a change in the problem staff has helped

We had breakfast, an egg sausage scramble and the Terrace omelet. We appreciated the seasonal fresh vegetables including asparagus and squash, red and yellow peppers. The sausage was tasty yet lean, leans cubes of ham Proportions were nice: enough cheese was in the omelet, but it wasn’t too much cheese. Avocado was a nice touch with the applewood smoked bacon and tomatoes. Potatoes served with both dishes were golden browned, but soft and nice. The omelet had been seasoned with rosemary. The jam served with the toast was a nice surprise, especially the strawberry jam. It was homemade and berry flavorful. The coffee was strong and also full of flavor. Service was great. We were seated immediately in a nice clean and open dining room. They also have outdoor seating. The waiter was attentive, friendly, and professional. We are pleased to have found the Terrace and expect to return as it is convenient to access, good parking, nice place to be, and the food was yummy. Might return to try the couple of weekday breakfast specials at 6.95 including coffee. Enjoy!

We ate breakfast here and it was pretty delicious. Their brunch and lunch are served until 3pm. PROS: Best potatoes I’ve had a in a really long time. I also enjoyed«The Works» which is a scrambled egg dish with Italian sausage and some veggies. The environment was nice and they let my dog eat outside with us. The patio provides a nice atmosphere in the yuppie Town and Country shopping area. The fountain is also a nice touch. COS: Horrible elevator music playing. The wait a was a little long but worth it. Also not a huge problem, but the portions weren’t huge, but not small either. Overall worth your visit. If a relative ever offers to buy you some breakfast, you should take them here. Otherwise you are better off sticking to a quick, inexpensive place like Lumberjack’s.

The Club sandwich for lunch wasn’t bad! Had wanted to try this place for a while but didn’t make it until yesterday. Polite Aussie waiter, inside is nice, semi-formal. The tap water is not so good. My daughter had the kids pasta and fries which made her happy and the Club is on some sort of rosemary bread– it was good. Also they make Yummy Italian sodas! We had a great window seat, and the seating area outside looked very inviting!

not good and wont be back. no redeeming quality here except the jelly. But that is not enough to drive across town for mediocre service and food. Service was painfully slow for a place hardly full. Granted we were seated quickly but to get some coffee/water took time not to mention neither were refilled. None of us were impressed with our selections — french toast yucky sweet; potatoes hard & cold, can’t tell they were actually cooked. eggs beni bland surprisingly, ahi was not left seared rare(as requested) and we were just annoyed at this point, just wanted to eat and leave. My partner had 2-eggs supposed to be «hard scrambled» but came out runny & had to ask TWO times for his wheat bread which came out cold & no butter on it… our(male) server was not even busy & appeared to hardly be on the floor either. Plenty other places to spend my hard earned money on — prices are too high and kept us from trying out this place to begin with. But it was a special occasion for my friend’s wedding and after we left we SO didn’t feel special.

Let me start off by saying, I’m a huge breakfast fan! I love breakfast for many reasons… there are some musts that I have when venturing out for a good breakfast meal that makes me get out of the PJs and put myself together… they are… (1) The food must be hot… not burn your mouth hot… but NOTLUKEWARM Verdict…The Terrace seems to think luke warm [close to cold, not icy] food is acceptable, I say… HELLNO! (2) Good Service, Don’t tell me you woke up on the wrong side of the bed! Verdict…Wow, sllllllllllllllow service and a general 5−10min before you see a menu or some water! (3) Tasty food Verdict…The potatoes are pretty good, some under cooked, but potatoes for restaurants seem to be an issue so I’ll let that slide. But it’s the herbyness that saved this restaurant from a 1 star rating… THAT’S IT! The french toast was painfully sweet… ickkkkkkkkk Don’t go… there are WAY better places out there. Try Evan’s Kitchen or even middle of the road Café Bernardo, Even Panera beats this place. Harsh, I know, but seriously, Don’t mess with my love from breakfast.

OK food, nothing special, in a nice location. Sort of a sterile strip mall ambiance greets diners looking for breakfast without having to drive downtown and contend with the«hipsters» standing in line wearing PJ’s and bedroom slippers. No, the crowd here is a bit more olderly, looking like they might be headed off to William Glen after breakfast to buy a gift for their granddaughter who is getting married. The food was OK, if a bit bland and overpriced. Note that the eggs benedict and the smoked salmon scram are only Sunday Brunch items. They do not have a full bar, so no bloodies. Slow paced service. Might go back for Sunday brunch, especially since they take reservations.

You know a restaurant is good when… …You walk in and get a whiff of fresh herbs looming in the air. …Your table is dead silent save for the repetitive«mmmmnnnnn“‘s after each bite This is a cozy, simple restaurant that boasts nothing more than white table clothes and a single sprig of rosemary on each table. What’s most impressive about this place is their use of fresh ingredients, some of which they make in house. The food comes out piping hot and whether you go for the french toast, their signature omelet, or special of the day you just can’t go wrong. Highlights of our meal were definitely the oven roasted potato’s with fresh rosemary and thyme. I usually opt for the more carb friendly side of fruit but got so caught up in ordering I forgot to mention it. What a fortunate oversight… the potato’s were incredible! They were perfectly cooked, I like them on the crispy side, and not overly salted or seasoned but offered a huge flavor punch with every bite. My new favorite breakfast spot when visiting my sister. Can’t wait to go back!

I went here for Sunday brunch recently and ordered the Smoked Salmon Scram. OMG. OMG. OMG. SO good! The potatoes and the salmon & eggs? Mmmmm. Even the man liked it and he’s picky about fish dishes. Ordered a cappuccino too. It was perfection. The man ordered the mixed berry pancakes which were light and fluffy and the daughter ordered the kids french toast as to which she exclaimed was the«best french toast ever!» I can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes.

Outstanding food and service. I was really impressed by the food. I highly recommend the salmon BLT and the pulled pork sandwiches. The breakfasts are really good too. I have tried the terrace omlet and the works scramble(which is outstanding). The The outside eating is great! I love this place. I cannot wait to go back. the are so many other meals i would love to try. i wish it was open for dinner but i will settle for just brunches. Beer My only compliant is our server gave me a Pilsner as a replacement for an IPA, but I feel that is totally forgivable because he was right on with everything else.
