My contractor friend brought me to Thrifty Supply HVAC when we decided to replace the aging ducting during a home remodel. They have a huge supply of everything you’ll need for your commercial or residential HVAC system.
Home Depot only carries R-6 insulated ducting; here you’ll find R-8 flex duct as well as more robust products if you need them. I was able to bring our system up to CA CEC Title 24 specs and the mastic, tape, register boxes, ducting, hangers, dampers, fittings and zip ties came to about $ 800, vs. $ 3,500 quoted by a local HVAC company. Two of us got the job done in about 5 days. Score!
