Sadly they’ve changed their restaurant name and owner so I cant review how they are now. TS Noodle was a 4 star to me before but I’ll be neutral and give the replacement restaurant 3 stars since I haven’t eaten there yet.

Good, cheap, hangover food! LOVED the boat noodles! Lots of places make their boat noodles too sweet, but TS makes it right on point. I loved the flavors of the broth! There was plenty of noodles in the bowl but I just wished they added more meat in it was well. I saw that they have other items such as kao piek. I definitely want to come back and give those a try as well!

Would give it 5 stars if only there was better customer service. I usually get curry, boat noodle, sticky rice with mango, Pappya salad, laab salad, and stuffed angel wings. Everything is always really good and fresh, but I noticed sometimes my bill was off. Ever since then I’ve been checking my bill to make sure the total is correct because it seems like prices are changing ever so often. A lot of times the waitresses don’t listen to your order or they seem rude as if they don’t want to serve you or they don’t want to be there. I always think you took this job working in the front, even if ur faking it u need to do your job considerately. I’m not asking u to smile and kiss my ass but when I ask for more water don’t roll your eyes and stomp away like i just killed your dog. As a waitress noticing things like that are vital to your companies well being. But then again it’s an Asian restaurant. I never expect good service from any Asian restaurant.

I’ve been twice. The first visit was good and the second was average. It probably depends on what you order. The drunken noodles on the first visit were great and had extremely well prepared broccoli(it is not often that you can brag about broccoli). The next visit was the boat noodles. They were average. Oddly the menu stated in big letters«no refunds or exchanges».

Cash only here so be prepared. Personally, I love the fried rice and crispy garlic pork. My fiancé loves the boat noodle. Sad to say but we’ve only eaten these items. Maybe we will try different items later.

I really like this place. It has a homey feel. Red curry w/beef, the boat noodles, and fried banana with ice cream are the only things I’ve tried here but then again I need to expand my Thai selections. Great food though! I could see rating this place a 5* if I stopped by here more often.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Sacramento! I’ve been eating here for years. Food is always good and prices are always cheap. Everything here is delicious. The service is good. Its the perfect hole in the wall place. Although they only accept cash now, which is cool.

I always come here with my sisters. This is one of my go to thai place. I enjoy their ke-pad-mao? i think that is how you spell it. im not sure. I always order their fried rice. and sometimes their red curry and the pad-thai. I’ve been here a numerous amount of time. Their service is great, i have never been judged as a child, and i enjoy their food. It has a homey feeling because it is run by a family. The food that i ordered never had an issue, and it always has a great service. The pad-thai, is something that i havent ordered so much, because my sisters and ilove the other dishes more. The«drunken noodles»(ke-pad-mao) is a loved dish by my sisters, and so is the fried rice. We get the medium spice, because everything is good with spiciness. lol. The red curry, is also in medium spice, but the red curry isnt something that we always order. I would recommend my friends and family to come here.

AWHEOOOOOONAHHH. Never again. Like I’m so dead serious this time when I say this. I am never ever ever ever ever EVER going here ever again for as long as the middle-aged lady is still working there. She constantly makes mistakes that she refuses to fix. It’s one thing to screw up. Hey, mistakes happens right? We’re only human. But you know when it stops being okay? When it never fails to happen every single time I visit. I stress the point of «no onions or cilantro, please. I really can’t eat it.» And there it is. Floating all over my bowl of boat noodle. 10⁄10 times. Same story. She never offers to bring it back either. She’ll tell me crap like, «just scoop it out.» OR the other week, «scoop it to your friend’s bowl.» AREYOUKIDDINGME??? Making one mistake after the next and acting like it is somehow the customer’s fault and that we should deal with it. So not okay at all. The last visit here, I ordered two boat noodles. One of me and one for my best friend while my best friend was using their restroom. Again, I specified the no onion or cilantro… Yeah, I got the whole sha-bang. Not only that, but my friend’s bowl had the fat noodles in it that I did not order. I told the lady nicely about it. She acted outraged and turned to my best friend and accused her of having ordered it. I got super pissed off at this point and so did my friend. First off, she wasn’t even present when our order was taken, secondly, I did not say anything wrong having been there a million times before. Arguing with a customer about something she can easily fix is just very disrespectful. After giving us an attitude, she huffed and puffed as she took my best friend’s bowl back to the kitchen and yelled back, «NOBIGDEAL.» We both got up and walked out of there. I don’t give a damn how delicious them boat noodles are. Nothing is worth this kind of treatment from a place where you pay to eat at!

The boat noodle is amazing! I used to be a phở(vietnamese noodle soup) lover until I tried this. I can’t go back to phở anymore! It has a lot of flavor without even having to add anything. And it’s only 5.95! The owner is really friendly and nice. I tried asking her for the recipe for the boat noodle! Haha.

This is my favorite Thai food joint. Menu is easy to read and the food is always great. I usually order anything on the menu that has curry in it. One of my favorite dish is called«ka nom chen» or «ka poon»… Its basically noodles with chicken and coconut/curry broth. If you don’t know what to order and it’s your first time. I recommend that dish. You will not be disappointed.

I’m one of those where. when I find something good, I keep going back for the same thing and never try anything else. At this particular restaurant, the Combination boat noodle is the way to go. The broth is definitely unique and I havn’t tried anything else like it. This is a Mom/pop… or Mom shop, and she is definitely a nice one. After my 3rd time back, she already remembers what I order. #49. boat noodle with extra noodles and no bean sprouts(She still likes to give me bean sprouts on the side even though I never eat them)

A bit cheaper than other Thai places around, however, the food quality… eh. Pad Thai was average. Curry tasted funny, it tasted more like soup than Thai curry. I just didn’t like it. Also, i asked for SUPERSPICY, and none of my orders came out spicy. Definitely a big NONO. Anyway, I you are looking for some BOMB Thai Food, try Thai Chili in Elk grove… MMMMMmmmm.

Went to Thai Spice Noodle for my sister’s birthday. She was in the mood to burn her lips off. Good news — it was a success. A friend of mine recommended TS Noodle. So, we tried it. My sister had the pad thai«extra hot» and I had the yellow chicken curry. Both dishes were great. The burn factor was great, but next time, we’re going to try it «Thai Hot.» Not sure what that means, but we were told that’s the«atomic» level of heat. TS noodle is in a strip mall in Little Saigon, but don’t let that fool you. Nice place, nice staff.

This place is a hidden gem. Seeing that there is SOOMANY Vietnamese restaurants around, I decided to try this place for a change. There’s so many __Noodles around here that I don’t want to go to any of them(ex: TK Noodle, CK Noodle, etc) This place specialty is Thai. I have ordered their Chicken and Mushroom hotpot #12 and Pew sei? #45. For their price, they are absolutely good! The hot pot is spicy, has ginger and cilantro, mushrooms and chicken. Their chicken was a bit on the dry side, but nonetheless good. I asked for noodles and veggies on the side. It complimented the hot pot very well. The pew sei?(I forgot what it’s called) are fat noodles with regular broccoli and chinese broccoli stirred in together. They were both very good dishes for a very reasonable price. Their mango and sticky rice is AWESOME! Their sticky rice is cooked perfectly and mango are sweet since they are in season. I would recommend everyone to come here for a change. Give it a chance. Also, the owner here is a very nice lady and is extremely friendly. Speaks Vietnamese and Thai, and can converse in English. TIP. Try their hot pot. :D

In the sea of Vietnamese restaurants on and around Stockton Blvd it’s refreshing to find another option for lunch when I’m visiting the boyfriend at work. I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and we ordered the boat noodles and pad thai with chicken. The boat noodles were more reminiscent of phở than other boat noodles I have in the past. The broth was missing the distinct Thai flavors I was expecting and I would have preferred egg noodles instead. The meat was also a little strange, not tough, but instead it was almost abnormally soft. On the plus side, the pad thai was pretty good. Plenty of sauce, well-cooked chicken(a rarity in Thai restaurants), plenty of egg and bean sprouts. The only downfall was that they do not include tofu. Service was a little on the slow side even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Prices were very reasonable. $ 15 for both including tip. I would come back.

I come here for the Thai Boat Noodles. Most people don’t know what that is because its pretty hard to find Thai Boat Noodles in sac. My first time eating it was in LA at Thai town. It is pretty much like phở with a much more flavorful and dark broth. Different regions would have variations. For example, some places put pork rines or blood jello in their boat noodle. TS noodle doesn’t have any of that. It is delicious, flavorful, has beef and seafood. Everything else on their menu is mediocre(meatballs, larb, kao poon, curry). So if you want to try a delcious noodle soup rich with flavor, I would definitely suggest TS Noodle’s Thai Boat Noodle.

The first time I stopped by here was for a late lunch after a foot massage at Happy Day Spa(they’re in the same strip mall). It struck me as a sweet, mom-and-pop type place. I ordered pad-see-ew with chicken. It arrived quickly, and tasted pretty darn good. Best in town? Not so much. But fresh and tasty – with a good amount of chicken. My second visit, though, was not great at all. The green curry was, well, just awful. Very little flavor, very little meat, and way too heavy on the bamboo shoots. Still, three stars for prompt, friendly service both times, and for that first tasty experience. I don’t know if they were just having a bad day, or if they’re always this inconsistent.

I ordered Chicken Yellow Curry which consists of potatoes, carrots, and I added bamboo shoots. I requested it to be medium spicy but I could barely taste the spice. The curry was dull, there wasn’t enough coconut milk in it so the curry powder was borderline-overwhelming. The service was very slow and the food took very long to come out. Wasn’t thrilled about this place and won’t go back.

Today I had my first bowl of thai soup noodles at TS(stands for Thai Spice, not Terribly Sexy), and it was very delicious. I had the boat noodles combination and it reminded me of a tasty bowl of phở made thai style. Take a standard phở and add peanuts, lemon grass and cilantro. The soup was similar to a tasty phở soup but with a little bit of thai. My momma ordered the chicken curry noodles and after I tasted it I wish I ordered it instead! It was fantastic. It tasted like my favorite tom kha soup from Taste of Thai but a huge bowl for around $ 6. I think at ToT it costs $ 10 for a little bit of that soup, and you get all the noodles and fixins too! In general the prices here were excellent for what you get. The fried shrimp appetizer wrapped in noodle skin didn’t thrill me, so I would recommend against it on your next visit. The thai ice tea was as expected and refreshing. The service was good and it seems like a warm and friendly family operation. The bathrooms were amazingly clean and fragrant for an asian restaurant in that area. There was potpourri and air fresheners galore. They even leave a few cans of air freshener sprays so you can pave the way for a more pleasant bathroom in case you foul it up. I plan to go back often and bring the kiddies along too. SCORE!
