I have been waiting one hour and I made an appointment, I even showed up early. I still haven’t been seen. Never coming back to this location.

It’s smells like peepee in the carpeted waiting room. The waiting room doesn’t possess a restroom so where’s it coming from? I’m really not sure how to get past this and I had nearly an hour to work thru this disturbing fact and it didn’t happen. Well that and the mindless chatter of the masses who surrounded me waiting for their drug test who continued to complain about the size of collection container they had to fill in order to successfully comply with the rules in place for the test… I think it was at this point, that I numbed out, 40 minutes into waiting for my turn as I was only the 5th person to sign in as the herd of us 12:30pm people stood in line awaiting the lab reopening status-post lunch break. My senses just couldn’t absorb the constant repetition of the peepee doners complain about not being able to fill the 60ml container as I sat there waiting my turn feeling weak, sick as all hell and now irritated and agitated. Not a good combo for a gal like me. I’m mean really, do you come to a gun fight with a fork? Come prepared to pee people it’s the only reason your here for your pre-employment screening! Yet I digress. There is no perfect laboratory that I’ve encountered in my years and it’s not entirely the fault of the poor employees manning these Quest Diagnostic stations it truly does go back to the headquarters who clearly do not believe in properly staffing their locals with the people skilled to take care of us paying consumers who keep them in business. Quest has officially become the leading free standing lab within the USA. They have literally bought out what’s left of their competitors but instead of properly and responsibly staffing and maintaining these draw sites with their revenues they let them run down into pee smelling, over crowded under staffed stations. Greed at its finest. The employees working here today were a total of 2 from what I saw and they were very pleasant and courteous even with the crap environment they have to work in. The man who stuck me did a great job and nailed it on the first try and several hours later I haven’t bruised up which says a lot. I don’t know if this review helped anyone but I truly hope it did. This lil Quest office is located off of Arden Avenue and Watt on Professional Drive. There are benches to sit on out front of the front door as well and if you arrive while they are closed I’d grab a seat and be prepared to muscle your way into the door once it opens lest you be trampled by less then courteous individuals who could care less their actual place in line. Good luck.

Wow, the first impression I got when walking in here was it is dirty and dingy. Needs a serious update, not enough seating for people. The front desk admin was very short with people and rude. I had an 8:30 appointment and still didn’t get in until after 9am. How can they get that backed up in the hour they were open? Ridiculous, won’t be coming back here!

Please make an appointment as this laboratory fills up fast. The staff does the absolute best they can. I have been there 4 or 5 times this calendar year. I always make an appointment and get in within 5 – 10 minutes. Remember folks this is not a fast food laboratory. The Technicians move as fast as they can and deserve your kindness. Even if you have to wait, make their day and be kind to them smile and say thank you! I know it is difficult if you have to wait but being rude and unkind will only get you the same.

Always make an on line appointment! It’s super easy to do and will save you hours of waiting nervously in the lobby(I’m a huge scairdy cat when it comes to blood draws). I used to go to the lab on coyle but it just feels yucky there. They are nice enough I guess but you feel sub human, like you are in a cattle call or something. I decided to try this office and I am glad I did. There isn’t always someone at the desk so you might stand around feeling stupid until you finally figure out that you can sign in and take a seat. So, on to the blood draw part. As stated earlier I am terrified of blood tests and Judy was the scary lady with a big needle. She immediately caught on to the fact that I was petrified. She was super nice and I barely felt the needle. She engaged me in a conversation which was really nice because it kept me distracted while she drew 5 or 6 vials. She also noticed that I was chewing gum… did you know that gum can mess up a test? It was sugar free and she said it could effect the test a little, but after fasting and dragging myself there, I wasn’t gonna leave and have to come back another day.
