What Fowler’s Automotive is a no-​frills auto shop that has been in business for over 3 decades. Jeff is an expert at his trade and works diligently to fix cars at the lowest price. Having Jeff as a mechanic is like knowing a friend in the business. He is honest, hardworking, and will give you the options to save you money-​a rare quality to find in a mechanic.

Fowler is one of those dream shops. Jeff, the owner and head mechanic, is very diligent in what he delivers and in the staff he chooses. Pricing is fair, repairs are expedient and necessary, and, if necessary, prioritized to be budget-​friendly.
I was a client of AutoNation because of the warranty that came with my car and I never enjoyed dealing with the team leaders or believe the repairs weren’t tampered with/​excessively unnecessary/​overpriced. That is nothing like the experience I have at Fowler’s. It is refreshing to actually be able to trust an auto shop.

I like to drive my vehicles for a long, long time. The older they get, the more I like them. I currently have a 1996 & 2002 Mazda and a 2001 Nissan. They are all currently over 100K miles; the Nissan is significantly higher.
Although all the vehicles have been reliable as I could ask for, when you drive a car for a long time, things are going to break and need regular maintenance. Jeff and Kevin at Fowler’s Automotive have become two of my favorite folks in Safety Harbor.
Their work is performed in a timely manner and they deliver high quality service. I can’t speak to cost, because after I found them three years ago, I never took my cars anywhere else.
In addition to the quality service, the thing that guarantees I will always go back to them is their dedication to ethical business practices. Several times I’ve taken a vehicle in for repair expecting significant work to be undertaken, they have called me with excellent news of being able to isolate the problem to relatively inexpensive sensors or other minor repairs. A less ethical garage would have given me exactly what I was expecting, along with a very expensive bill. Jeff and Kevin do not operate that way. They fix problems and send you away a very satisfied customer.
I would (and do) recommend them to everybody. They are excellent mechanics and ethical business people.
