Cork’n’ale-Oppermann’s

I feel like a kid in a candy store here! Of course they carry big brands but they also have many interesting spirits, ciders, and beers that are harder to find. All the staff that I’ve encountered have been helpful and at least polite if not friendly, and they’ve been able to find most of what I’m after. Because I don’t live in Michigan I’m always curious about local and especially seasonal products, which are mostly stocked in the same section or else labeled. I’m actually glad I don’t live here or else I’d probably be broke.

They have the best selection of craft beer and microbeers in the area, and an expert knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor. This is my first stop when looking for craft beer.

Love this place. They have a huge selection of beer and liquor they pretty much have any beer you could ever want as well as all the wine and liquor you could ever drink in your lifetime and if you’re a cigar fan they have a huge walk-​in humidor. Great selection of cigars with my personal favorite the Cohiba. The only drawback was the cork and ale brand cigars I didn’t care for them but other than that this is quality business worth visiting

Moved out of Saginaw about 5 years ago, but whenever I am in town I always stop in for some of my favorite Michigan brews. Great place, great selection, nice people. What more can you ask for?

Best selection I have found for beer, wine, liquor. Any kind of craft beer they will have it.

Stopped by here with the GF, her brother, and her dad to pick up some wine and liquor for Xmas Eve festivities. Met Jeff, the proprieter, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about his craft. Spoke with him a bit about the various whiskies and bourbons he had in stock. And for Saginaw, MI — I was frankly surprised at the variety! I imagine you would be hard pressed to find a better store in a few hundred mile radius.
I picked up a 12 year Glenlivet Gift Set (2 whiskey snifters included) for the GF’s dad as an introduction to an aged single malt scotch. And in turn, I received 12 year Yamazaki — score! We also picked up some Moscato and Ice Wine for the GF’s mom.
Be sure to stop on by for all your tipple needs — the staff is friendly and courteous — they’re more than willing to help!
Oh — did I mention they offer tastings? ‘Nuff said.

LOVE this place. There are so many wines/​beers/​liquor! Great selection from all over the world… And if you can’t find what you are looking for, the staff is knowledgeable and will try to order it for you or find you something similar. I love going here… I always spend a lot of money. And hey, it’s not that I’m a raging alcoholic, but a girl needs to keep her wine rack filled.

They have a nice selection of the major brands and lesser known brews. The prices are really good and the employees know their stuff. I was never a beer person and didn’t know much about wine but the employees there were able to steer me towards new yet good stuff each time I went in and said I wanted to try something different,

We have been purchasing our wine gift baskets from Oppermann’s for many years they provide us with very unique selections for our clients that enjoy distinctive wines. What is very exceptional is that because many of our clients are also Jeff’s (the proprietor), he can help select the wines that our clients favor.
We also use Oppermann’s to create beautiful baskets for prizes that we in-​turn donate to fund raising charity events.

Ooh, this is a fun store! A great selection of wines, in all price ranges; if you’re going to do an informal wine tasting with friends, this is the place to stock up. I very much appreciate the Wine Spectator ratings posted by the wines, too — very helpful when deciding whether or not to take a chance on an unfamiliar wine. Opperman’s also carries a wide selection of beers and spirits, and they sell beer-​and winemaking equipment.

Ok, so they’ve got a great selection of beer… and a great selection of wine… that’s all great, but they’ve also got a great selection of liquor. That’s right hard to find rums from throughout the caribbean, even Michigan distilled specialty liquors. This is a must-​shop if you have any real taste in beer, wine OR liquor!

This is the best place to get obscure beer and wine. They have all sorts of good stuff, and some of the staff is very knowledgeable on what stuff is good.
They also have just about every type of major liquor ever made.
They have ¹⁄₅ (or is it ¹⁄₈?) barrels that are a perfect size for small parties. Plus you can get them in great flavors.

Oppermann’s Cork ‘N’ Ale is a must stop before any party or special occassion! They have the best selection of fine wines and hard to find beers in Saginaw. If you’re looking for a certain beer, they probably have it, if not the knowledgable staff will help you something very similar. They also offer everything you need to make your own beer or wine.
