Worst service we ever experienced. A table sat down 20 mins after us and received their pizza before us. Asked the server how much longer ours would be to have her come back and say our order was lost and would we like to place another one. No apology or acknowledgement of the long wait. There were only 2 other tables in the place, very disappointing. Won’t be returning.

Tried this place for the first time Tuesday. They have a customer appreciation thing on Tuesday and Thursday $ 4.88 large pizza special. Their pizza is the same equivalent as Imo’s which I’ve only had once before as well back on Labor Day. I read on their menu that it’s STL style, but I was still expecting a thicker dough encrusted pizza. The provel cheese is wonderful. $ 10 to feed a family of 5 you can’t go wrong. My visit: I called in a carry out order. The man I spoke with was thorough and authoritative like a manager, told me it would be 15 – 20 minutes. I arrived and from outside I thought it was a dive place. Looking like a hole in the wall in the strip plaza. Inside they have three TVs going, they sell beer bottles. And there’s specials for every day of the week. Low on staff so there’s longer waits. All I saw was professionalism. And don’t forget to go to their website and join their loyalty program. You get $$ off and regular coupons for their food. I personally wouldn’t return but that’s only because of the value for the $$. Maybe they will send me more coupons in the future to get me in the door.

went to order online last night. saw coupon for 3 cheese pizzas(14″ large. additional toppings $ 1 each) for $ 4.88 which was perfect. continue with the online order. saw total came to $ 44(roughly). called restaurant and explained what we were trying to do. male(did not get name) stated coupon was«not available on customer appreciation days»(ironically. the website says nothing about coupons being invalid on such days; just that delivery times could be increased due to higher volume of orders). we were then told that«they have nothing to do with online ordering». that’s funny since the coupon clearly stated«valid tuesday & thursday only»(nov 10th was a tuesday). and«St Charles location only»(got that covered. live about a mile from the store). Clerk on phone was extremely rude, asking«well cancel that order and do you want to order over the phone?» and when we said that we would order from another place, we were met with«ok». Never had a problem in the past with them but probably won’t order from them again

Use to eat here all the time place was full. Called to place an order asked about special ride man on the phone states same as always. If I knew I wouldnt have asked. After reading the reviews I was kinda iffy even ordering. Told 25 min. Pulled into parking lot empty nobody inside. Yes gray hair man at register. Pizza cold arrived in 15 min. Hate to say it won’t be back. Owner should read reviews and do something. Hate to see this place close. Use to be awesome.

On day 1 of our 3 day cross country trip, we pulled into our hotel in MO and started thinking of what was for dinner. After hours and hours of driving, we weren’t really feeling like going anywhere. We found Cecil Whittaker’s and, not really knowing much about it, placed an order. First, we were told it would be an hour to an hour and a half, and it really only took about 20 or 25 minutes. Pleasantly surprised from the get go! We ordered a few different things. I had the lasagna, my boyfriend had the wings and the potato skins. We split the toasted ravioli. First, the lasagna was amazing. I liked the different cheeses in it, the meat, the texture of the layers. It was, in short, really good. I don’t think I can do it justice with words. That good. I’ve been craving really good Italian food for a long time and I wasn’t finding it — this lasagna did it for me! The potato skins were really good. My boyfriend said they were probably the best he’d ever had. He said the wings were pretty good. They were spicy, but they weren’t super spicy. Some of them were slightly dry, but they were mostly fine. We both agreed that the toasted ravioli were really good — good texture, spices, yummy dipping sauce. Everyone we spoke to, from the woman on the phone to the delivery guy, was really nice. Overall, I wish I had one of these where we were going! A great experience, and would definitely order from again if given the opportunity.

We went to this location couple days ago. We were in a hurry so we told the girl there to please hurry it up. About 40 minutes later, she came by our table(1st time she checked our table since we got there) and told us our pizza is coming next. 45 minutes later, they gave us the wrong pizza! and oh, we were observing take outs coming out the door. these were people behind us in the line but they were getting their pizza out before us. I personally do not care for pizza but my husband loves this place. Well, he used to. Now he HATES it! service was sucky and to be honest, pizza was not really all that great either! Avoid this place! Take your business somewhere else! And oh, we ended up leaving because, again, we were in a rush. We did not eat the pizza but we still got charged with the extra toppings! How about that for service?

Here’s one of the best things about Cecil Whittaker’s: Customer Appreciation Tuesday. I can get a large cheese, St. Louis style, of course, for under $ 5. The pizza is what I expect from STL style, nice thin crust and covered with provel. I like it and when I’m in the mood for a thin crust pizza this is exactly what I’m looking for. I live within walking distance of all four big national chains, plus CWP and I’ll get CWP before I go for the others.

Unreal. Horrible experience. Messed up the sandwich. Then I called and I wanted my order refunded and they said couldn’t refund the order. «Their system wouldn’t let them do that» then since they«couldn’t refund the order» they said they could send out new food if we wanted to give the food back. Then the food gets here(for the second time) and we give the food back and they gave us only the sandwiches with no fries. After we had given the fries we got in the first order back. So we call AGAIN, and the«manager Brian H» ended up telling us they could refund the order(even tho the first time they said they couldn’t) and since we waited almost 2 hours we REALLY wanted the sandwiches. THENHEHUNGUPONUS! Unbelievably horrible experience. We’re currently waiting on the third delivery with the correct sandwiches and the fries. I will keep updated as the food is delivered. This place sucks.

I used to like this place. But my last two online orders have been a mess. 1st time I didn’t get my food after an hour and when I called they said they didn’t receive the online order. They made no offer to get it right. Not even a $ 1 off my meal. 2nd time on 2÷14÷14 I ordered. After an hour I called and was told it just went out the door. I called 30 minutes later and was told it was on it’s way. 30 minutes later I called and was told it was on it’s way with another delivery to a place nearby. The last time I called I talked to manager Brian. He was rather rude and didn’t seem to care. Only said they were busy. and said he saw no order from me but would look into it and call back. He never called back. I went out to another place to get food. 5 minutes after I came back the Cecil delivery driver showed up. It was 3 hours and 10 minutes late! I’ve emailed from their website’s Contact Us 3 times but have received no response. I’ve emailed the email address of a Cecil Whitakers email I receive often with specials. But I’ve received no response. I’ve called the store 3 more times and left a message for Scott to call, but he hasn’t called. They charge $ 4 or more for delivery! Your credit card is charged immediately upon order submission. Apparently you can’t get your money back. Needless to say customer service sucks bad.

Here’s another leg on my PIZZAPIZZAPIZZA journey. I recently visited a local Cecils for some crispy cracker pizza. I am used to paying for Imo’s, which is a pain in the wallet followed by a salty coma. Don’t get me wrong, I love Imo’s, but sometimes you just cannot justify $ 40 for two one topping pizzas. I had a great little coupon from Cecils that came in the mail. I arrived, ordered, and found a wonderful little staff that was more than hilarious to spend time with. The owner was present and a hoot to boot. The pizza was delicious and the fried mushrooms were a cut above. For some reason I just don’t think Cecil’s when I think of ordering pizza, but that is going to have to change from now on, this was a good trip.

Shitty service, do not bother ordering online unless u want to play delivery roulette. Drink orders are never what u order, pay for mountain dew, get Sierra mist, etc. Must tip when Placing order so it’s a guarantee delivery Guys don’t bother giving a shit because they are already paid I spoke with the manager, and he was very rude and explained it is not his problem. I asked for a refund on the tip they required I pay prior to receiving any service and was told too bad and was threatened with additional charges and reminded that he has my credit card information
