Fairly good, just don’t go to close to closing time because they will not fill anything back up(9pm)

Not the best Chinese buffet I’ve ever visited but a fair distance away from being the worst. They have everything one would expect to find in such a place and do a decent job of keeping up with the stuff on the steam tables. This is not a place to go out of your way to visit as there are certainly better dining options in the area. If you’re looking for a Chinese buffet this place will probably do in a pinch.

This was my first trip and also my last. I got fried rice, crab ragoon and tried all the chicken meats. The chicken was just nuke warm and chewy. Seems like it’s been sitting out for a while. I took my 10 year old daughter all she ate was jello and they still charged for her. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the crab ragoon was super good.

Very disappointed in my order tonight, and will not be ordering again. We ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp, they did not include the sweet and sour sauce. That’s the whole meal! So, I just received five pieces of fried shrimp for nearly $ 6. Also ordered sushi and they sandwiched it into the bag between all the hot food, so that’s also inedible. The delivery driver said he didn’t have any change on him, not even any $ 1 bills, so he got a nice $ 10 tip for my crappy meal. Thanks!

Their huge selection is the only reason I went with 3 stars instead of 2. I tried 5 different types of chicken, and none of them were very good. General Tso’s chicken is usually my favorite, but here it was mushy and I couldn’t finish it. Lots of food to choose from, but I wasn’t crazy about any of it that I tried. Service was OK, restaurant was clean.

I gave 3 stars just for the nice delivery guy and good crab ragoon and sushi. But when it comes to the actual Chinese food the rice is sticky and not good the meat in the beef n broccoli was very chewy and did not taste good at all. I def recommend wok express for good Chinese

After days of cheeseburgers and steaks, the chinaman in me was desperate for rice. Didn’t know if there was a chinatown here but was working in the area and found this buffet in a fairly nice mall that included a Texas Roadhouse BBQ. For a $ 6.95 buffet lunch, you have over 30 choices of chinese food and a sushi bar. With my culinary background and food experience, I respect this place keeping the chinese food china style and not so much catering to any type of people. In San Francisco, many good chinese chefs cater to the American palate and most of the time the original dishes turn out bad for us chinamans. I just needed steamed rice. Took a full plate of steamed rice and had broccoli beef and 5 kinds of those fried and stir-fried kinda of chickens that all taste kind of sweet and sour. It was just what I needed to make it through another day without my rice fix. Until I got home and had Temaki Gold rice which helped to restore my entire body. Thanks China House Buffet!

The new management that took over a few months back has taken the place down hill. The battered meats are over fried and pretty much batter, little in the way of actual meat. Some of the best items were removed (sweet and spicy shrimp) and replaced with cheaper alternatives. I would rather they raise the price a little and offer better quality.

I thought this place was pretty good, didn’t like the lo mein very much though. it’s cheap, standard Chinese buffet food, though it seemed a little small(not expecting a massive buffet).drinks were refilled right wasn’t busy at all when we walked in, so we sat down right away.

Ordered from this place tonight by luck. They apparently are under new control. THISFOODWASAMAZING! The delivery was fast my order was RIGHT. We haven’t ordered Chinese food in a year because there were always problems. We have lived here for over 10 years. And let me tell you we are going to be ordering on a regular bases. They don’t have a menu online yet, but you just tell them what you want when you call, EVENSUSHI, they will bring it right to your door step. I hope they stay with the way they are running now. WELOVEDIT. And the guy that delivered it was so nice. THANKYOUSOMUCHCHINAHOUSE. And the prices were great.

Nothing great but not terrible either. Food was warm at best… trays need to be turned up.

Okay so I went here with my dad the other day expecting a mediocre to okay Chinese buffet. What I got was a train wreck. We walked in, and the place was well kept, clean looking, and the staff was friendly. However I went to the buffet and saw what looked like a mediocre Americanized Chinese buffet, so on just presentation and staff this place probably would have gotten a high three stars, but with me about 90% of a restaurants grade is how good the food is for what you pay. Most of the food wasn’t bad, but still mediocre, however 3 out of 9 things I tried had MAJOR issues. The shrimp meatball dumpling, basically shrimp wrapped in a meatball, had the shell still on it when I bit into it. The crab mixed with orange glazed shrimp was cold and felt very off in it’s texture. And the meat dumplings were undercooked and doughy with very bland meat inside. After that I had some banana pudding which actually decent, but I still left slightly hungry because quite frankly I just didn’t feel like eating any more. Huge drop in standards when bringing out food is the quickest way to loose customers and I have to say that day the standards seriously dropped. Based on my experience I can only give this place about 45 out of 100. F.

Awesome! Food was fresh, hot and the service was super quick. The restaurant was clean and open. One of the best buffet-style Chinese places I’ve ever eaten at. Highly recommended and the staff was friendly. Go there!

By the looks of the outside you wouldnt expect it, but this is quite possibly one of the better buffets in the St. Louis area, food is very good and the buffet is very cheap. My only complaint is that their Sunday Brunch, is more expensive than a regular M-Sat lunch without any difference in the buffet.

This is you typical all you can eat chinese buffet. It is, however, better than most. The place is clean and kept stocked with food that is for the most part hot and fresh. There is a decent selection of dishes. The service is very good — they work very hard and are friendly. Nothing«out of this world» but all in all a good meal.

I will be honest, I’m really picky. The service was good, it’s a buffet, they were very happy to get us drinks and went through the beer list. My biggest complaint with this place is that I’m not a huge fan of buffets and we were not given the option to order from the menu plus the buffet was expensive. I don’t eat $ 9.00 worth of food so it really isn’t worth it for me. I’m pretty sure a guy at a table across the room from us ate his share as well as our share. So it all works out in the end, right? I guess the bonus of a buffet is that you can taste everything that looks good and then you know what to order off the menu next time. As for the buffet it was huge! However, the food was mediocre. Not bad, just not awesome. I really liked the chicken and mushroom dish a lot. The chicken and broccoli was good and if you like lo mein go for it! The rest of it was not my cup of tea. There was a lot to choose from so I’m sure you will find something you like. The crab rangoon was just ok and so were the egg rolls. I love crab rangoon and if they are not good, I’m not totally happy. There were desserts, sushi and American items on the buffet. The other reviewers love this place so give it a try. Like I said before, I am picky.

CHINAHOUSE just recently opened up a very few months ago. It has become a favorite of mine and now friends and family. It is located across from Bass Pro at 5th St. and Hwy 70 in St. Charles. The food choices for the weekday $ 6.50 lunch buffet are incredible. You can have a huge fresh salad, a fresh fruit plate, multiple delish entrees and yummy deserts for just $ 6.50(Is this even possible?) The food and deserts are not standard buffet fare. It’s better. You also get decent atmosphere for a shopping center restaurant, and the wait staff is very efficient and FRIENDLY. They work their tails off and I try to show my appreciation with a good tip, usually about 30% (that’s just me — I feel guilty getting all that food so CHEAP!). Very tasty, appealing food. My wife loves the place — and she is HARDTOPLEASE, lol.(she can’t keep her hands or mouth off the Hong Kong pastries, they’re yummy). This has been a pleasant surprise and a real find. Bottom line — You get to eat out without your wallet realizing it… You won’t be disappointed!
