This is a family owned bakery that specializes in Italian confections and wedding cakes. We love the Italian cookies and cannolis and every cake we have had for birthdays or other peoples wedding has been amazing. The owner is often at the front giving advice and helping people make decisions. If you are looking for high quality baked goods this is the place!

J. Noto did my wedding cake 2 weeks ago and it was fabulous. We requested a topsy-turvy cake with a beach/ocean theme, with butter cream frosting (not fondant). Most places we went didn’t do topsy-turvy and if they did, it was fondant. Jasper was very friendly and helpful as we went through the ordering process. The price point was perfect for us as well, as we were on a budget. When I saw the cake the day of my reception, it surpassed all my expectations by far, it was perfect and I was thrilled, EXACTLY what I wanted. The cake was not only awesome to look at, it tasted great as well. It was a white cake, raspberry filling and butter cream frosting. We got MANY compliments on the cake, it was delicious. I can’t say enough good things!

I very cute little bakery! We spent a rainy afternoon exploring St. Charles and happened upon this place. My husband got a double espresso and they were very accommodating when it came to his milk specifications (i.e. he wants ALL the milk). We also shared a piece of chocolate covered bacon because… well, you don’t need a reason for chocolate covered bacon. It was certainly a fun treat to find! They also have cupcakes, truffles, an assortment of chocolate barks and many other tasty looking sweets.

Cannoli is my absolute favorite dessert, and J Noto has the BEST cannoli I’ve ever had — and I’ve had cannoli all over the country! You have a choice of the traditional Sicilian cannoli with Ricotta or the sweeter Italian Custard cannoli, and my friend and I were smart enough to sample both. We tried to figure out which was better, but it turns out they’re both amazing in their own right. I can’t WAIT to find a reason to go back to St. Charles, if only to have this cannoli again!

This is by far, our favorite Italian Bakery! We have tried just about everything they offer and the quality and flavor is spot on and no one in the area compares!
We highly recommend them for that special occasion, as they prepare cakes and tiramisu to order. We only order our custom items from them from now on! Thanks Jasper, his daughter and team Noto!

J Noto is one of the best bakeries around! Their custom cakes and pies are outstanding– the quality is unbelievable! This is our go to spot for wowing family and friends! Their cakes surpass that of La Bonne Bouchee.

Really cute shop.
My friend and I were walking around in downtown st. charles. She stopped me and dragged me in here because of the words cannoli and chocolate covered bacon.
CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON! AMAZING! It was crunchy and sweet and delicious. I want more now… :/
And the cannoli were magnificent. My friend got a tiramisu one that was beyond what I expected. I loved the sweet sticky filling oh so much that I ended up using my fingers to clean up whatever was left on the plate. The ricotta ones was good too just not as great.
When I’m in St. Charles again, I will be sure to come here for more cannoli. YUM!

J Noto is a cute little shop on Main street that serves a variety of biscotti and other Italian treats. I think they had over ten flavors of biscotti the last time I was in. Get yourself an espresso, a few biscotti, sit down at one of the few tables they have and create your own little heaven. If biscotti isn’t your thing they have a variety of pies to choose from as well as cookies, cannoli and other Italian baked goods. I personally like the gingerbread men.
I believe they do party trays as well has pies for special order. If you don’t know what to bring to you next holiday party stop by and see for yourself. You might not have slave over a hot stove yourself.
If you like Italian treats I say this is a great place to go and get your little piece of heaven.
