Sorry but I did not like this place at all. :-/ Saw it pop up and had book marked it a while back, finally decided to give it a go last weekend. It was Saturday night — but early — when we went. I had read in other reviews it was good for burgers, and I know my companion loves burgers, so that’s why I picked it. I figured I would either get a burger or a pizza or something basic. Upon initial glance of the menu, there were numerous items that sounded good. However, unfortunately, everything I was interested in ordering had something spicy in it. I cannot digest spicy food, I have an allergy to it… I told this to the waitress after ordering a glass of red wine, and she tried to help pick out something that sounded appetizing yet without the spiciness. Sadly, all of the items I wanted were either sold out or they no longer even served it. Suggestion for this place — update your menu, please! Why tempt me with a delicious salmon dish if it’s no longer a product you carry? The salmon was replaced with tilapia. Also, their kale salad is no more. You can get it with romaine or spinach but no kale. Meh! Also it took about 15 minutes just to get my wine. Not the server’s fault. The bartender quite literally disappeared and was no where in sight for a while… she was looking kind of upset about that. I ended up ordering a generic cheese pizza(I believe they referred to it as a «flatbread» — the trendy word for pizza these days.) After biting in to it — to my horror — I discovered the sauce was spicy. I even bit down on a chili flake. Was this some kind of sick joke? I sent it back and she asked if I wanted anything else and I told her no thanks. Decided I would make some food at home later. In the time it took my partner to finish his burger and fries, my hands started to break out into a rash. My stomach started to feel sick, and I was getting pretty miserable. I don’t see why places decide to make things spicy and not even list that on the menu? Even when you tell them you have an allergy, they don’t caution you about an ingredient? I guess the gal serving us had never tried the pizza sauce, so I cannot fault her there. In fact, she was an otherwise wonderful server and very kind, so I feel bad leaving 2 stars, but if it had not been for her service and positive attitude, I would have left 1 star. Probably will never return to this place, which is a shame, because it is a cute little spot, lots of ambiance, TVs for the sports fans, and not far from my home. Alas.

Seriously will not let you down. Great customer service, clean and amazing food. Small menu, but I have had breakfast lunch and dinner and everything has been delicious. Highly recommend the gumbo.

Best burger in New Town… and surrounding area for that matter(El Agave I’m looking at you). Also great drinks and Jen and Casey behind the bar are great! Don’t go here if you are seeking ocean fresh dolphin… it’s not on the menu and shame on you.

A great addition to the New Town community. I had a burger that was perfect. You can build your own so I just asked them to have the cook pick for me and I wasn’t disappointed – I was thrilled! My wife had the kale salad and said it was superb as well. Service was excellent as well, even when my daughter spilled her milk everywhere! I have already scheduled my return visit! 2nd return plus a breakfast visit. Had the gumbo and then the chorizo skillet. Both were exceptional and I still highly recommend this restaurant!
