I guess the closing of this business is no surprise to me after the very average photography I received from this location.

Staff here tried. Getting a one year old to smile is no easy task. I should know. I spent one summer working at Sears Portrait Studio. Oh, the things a high school student will do for cash. Nicole helped entertain my three-year-old niece by handing out stickers and distracting her with something to color, while Laen attempted to get my nephew Noah to show off his pearly whites(all four of them). For the most part, Laen relied on my sister to make Noah smile. Laen seemed more like a picture person than a kid person, more focused on the shot. The photo session took about 20 minutes(their typical allotment). You can bring in as many outfits and props as you’d like, keeping in mind the time limit. At the end, my sister was concerned that my nephew didn’t get enough good shots in his Halloween costume but Laen reassured us that there would be plenty to choose from. Personally, I think he should have taken a few more. He was probably hesitant in taking more time since we were his last session before the studio closed. Overall, the pictures turned out super cute. More care could have been taken to reduce blurring and shadowing, and I just feel as if we were a little rushed. These pictures are not cheap, so I think the photographer should take the time to listen and respond to customers. I thought it was convenient that you can wait for your photos to be printed and or framed on the very same day as they’re taken. Picture People also never charges customers a session/sitting fee.
