Chili Peppers Tanning

Great place that allowed me to get a great base tan before my tropical honeymoon!
I had no idea about tanning in a tanning salon, and the girls there were willing to walk me through all of the details and processes.

It’s upkeep is not the best… Actually it’s kinda gross looking at the walls when you slide into the beds. There’s dust and fuzzy stuff in the crooks of the beds and behind them. That is if you can get in, due the hinges on the beds either being broken or worn out. They close down on you and you fight to get out of the beds afterwards, because the top won’t open and stay open. I would think they make a good income here. They need to do some maintenance and spring cleaning. Period…

I fell in love with tanning a couple years ago. I tried it here for the 1^st time and LOVED it!
Reasonably priced and the barbies that work there were helpful and friendly.
I started to get bumps on my stomach like a hives bump. I didn’t use ANY product just tanned.
Im not sure if the beds weren’t cleaned correctly or if its my body being over sensitive.
Overall i REALLY liked this place!

worst ever! horrible service from (annie) every single time! i am changing tanning salons as soon as my package is up! also, fix bed #2 it’s a frickin death trap!!!

Today was the first time that I went to this location and I just loved it! The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. The beds and rooms were very clean. They also have great coupons, and great deals!

You get what you pay for I guess. Much lower prices than other local salons. Dirty. Old equipment with controls that don’t work. Rooms with no towels and less space to change than any other salon I have seen and only a TALL bar stool to sit on while dressing (I had to sit on the floor to put on my shoes). I usually put a towel on the floor of a stand-​up unit but they have none so I looked at the grated floor before diving in and it was FULL of hair and garbage and god knows what else (sped home afterwords to wash up).
First time I went in and asked about pricing, the girl told me to go look online (Im there with money in hand and wanting to tan THEN and I’m supposed to go home and look online first ??). I did return another day surprisingly enough because they were cheap, but unless I see some improvement in their cleanliness and customer service, I’ll pay more at a more comfortable salon.

Gretchen Wilson may not spend her money on manicures or spray on tans, but I do. And Chili Peppers takes bronzing to a platinum level for sure.
I live in Mt Clemens and split my time between the Harper local and (my personal fav) the Fraser location – to me they’re worth the drive. The prices are the best around especially when you hit their Half Off EVERYTHING sales – it’s a saving on psuedo sol!
The Mystic Tan is the system to use (some places boast something called a ‘Versa Spa’ – don’t be fooled. You end up looking like a freckled mess with that machine.) and leaves you NOT orange, but with a soft glow. Want it darker? Skip a day then go again. Heck, at $ 14.99 for a level 2 Mystic you can afford beautiful tan.
They offer many different levels of beds for whatever type of skin you have (or level of sun exposure), and the staff keeps them clean and the bulbs bright. I especially like the Fraser staff.
Chili Peppers, you make me look good. And as an Event Planner and local celebutaunte, I thank you!

OK so I have tanned at many of the local «fake n’ bake» establishments but this Chili Peppers really takes the cake.
I only tan in the warmer months because I have been called Casper’s sister on more than one ocassion.
Anyway back to where I was going with this…
This Chili Peppers location is GREAT! Always clean always, the ladies who work in there are super friendly and great at what they do.
If you tan or want to tan check this place out, you will not be let down!
