This place is awesome and the only place we buy our Greek staples. They are always so happy and helpful. Usually we do get one on one attention but around the holidays it does get crowded but so worth it. It is a 45 minute drive for us but always happy to do it(the Greek Feta is the only Feta my husband will eat).

Amazing selection of real imported Greek food stuffs without the high prices some stores try to sell the same things for. Great cheese and wonderful cookies.

I was riding my bike back home from the Secretary of State office. I once again didn’t have the correct documents to change my license from Ohio to Michigan, and I was kinda bummed. I decided to do some exploring, and I found this little gem. As everyone knows here, I am a foodie, and a cook. While the other kids were playing baseball, I was inside the house making cookies with Mom. As a result, I have become a very good cook. I have had requests from my family for some of my Mom’s recipes. I’m not talking. I make something called Tiropita, or Greek cheese pie. There is a version with spinach, but I will eat spinach right after Hell freezes over. Being a demanding sort, I insist on the very best ingredients for my dishes. If you cant get the best then don’t do it at all. I would rather eat a hot dog than substandard tiropita. So when I walked into Stouka’s it was like i died and went to Greece. OMG. The selection was awesome for such a little store. 4 different kinds of phyllo, as well as 4 different versions of feta cheese, as well as noodles for pastitsio, and most everything else I need to make a killer tiropita. If that wasn’t enough, he gave me advice on how to make my pie more authentic. OMG again. The only downside, if there is one is that he doesnt sell the eggs and cottage cheese I need, but I didn’t expect him to, so it’s a non issue. Whatever you do, do stop here and try the food. You will be back again and again and again and again.

A small Greek Grocery that carries Greek staples. Good selection of cheeses, yogurt, and pasta. The barrel feta is usually the best choice. He has some fresh bread and pastries, but never a lot. We come here early to get Greek red Easter egg dye or New Years Vasilopita bread before he runs out. Most days, you will be the only customer. But Saturdays and just before holidays this place will be packed with large groups of people.(Cash only)
