Calvary Chapel St George

Awesome Bible grounded teachings and fellowship. The Youth Group is inviting and they delve deep into the truth’s of God. The pastor’s vision for reaching Saint George is infectious. God is doing a great work in this church where many are coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I don’t have much to say but when the Church is opening new churches and converting locals in UTAH something needs to be said for that. God is doing a good work with this church.

My wife and are new to St George and looking for a Christian church that embraces the Bible and the joy/​salvation of being a Christian. We went to both Calvary Chapels in this area and found bible based teaching and salvation. Sadly for us joy was missing in their sermons.

A place where common people meet to share the word of God. It’s never about religion but our savior, Jesus Christ! No membership required :)

If you are looking for a church that teaches the Bible verse by verse, and chapter by chapter, you should strongly consider attending Calvary Chapel of St. George. The church has a number of ministries appealing to infants, youth, middle/​high schoolers, young adults, Spanish speakers, women, men, persons presently incarcerated, and even motorcycle riders. The church is active in the missions field, with people spread around the globe.
Sunday morning services are at 9am and 11am. The service begins with prayer, up-​tempo Christ-​centered music, and a lesson. Services are traditionally about 90-​minutes, with music comprising roughly one-​third of that time.
The Pastoral staff, led by Rick Nerud, has an incredibly strong collective heart to serve the Lord and the body of parishioners that attends CCSG. Youth Pastor Ryan Shaddix is especially talented at communicating with youth from 12 – 18 on a very real, loving, and Scriptural level.
In sum, if you are looking for a church that can provide you with spiritual, Christ-​centered nourishment based upon Scripture, consider attending CCSG. My family has attended for five years, and we have all been blessed by the experience.
