Went on the historic Beaufort tour. Took a while to get going as one of the kayaks had a leak so had to wait for it to be patched. The area was beautiful though and our tour guide knew a lot of interesting information. Wish there was a little more to it, however, because for experienced kayakers it’s just a lot of floating around and you really don’t travel very far at all. Probably a good trip for beginners.

We had a great time kayaking in St Helena & then on a separate occasion on the river in downtown Beaufort. Irene is extremely knowledgeable and is an excellent guide. Not only did she give us thorough guidance on kayaking, Irene taught us about the tides and the many wonders of the local waters. She even taught us how to cast a shrimp net! If you’ve never kayaked in Beaufort, a guide is essential for your safely & fun. I highly recommend Irene!

Me and the hubs had such a great time! It was our first time kayaking and thankfully it wasn’t that hard! We did a 90 min kayak tour in downtown Beaufort and what a wonderful experience that was and Irene was awesome as our host! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t yet!
