I love this place. It’s an authentic, cute, quiet little shop that is perfect for meeting up for brunch in SJ. Lots of great memories… even if they were made from skipping school :)

FANtastic! During a recent weekend getaway we were looking for a small place for a quick breakfast. Having spent the previous afternoon wine tasting, we knew bagels and muffins would hit the spot. We came across Broad Street Café here on Unilocal and someone said, «best bagels ever.» Must be decent so we gave it a try. Oh! My! It was a beautifully quiet morning, maybe around 8:30 — 9:00. We parked on the street(pays to be early birds!) and there were a few, very relaxed folks enjoying the beautiful morning and bagels and such at the tables outside. When we walked in, it smelled sooooo good! I couldn’t decide on a muffin so I went with my go-to bagel, cinn-raisin. I added the walnut cream cheese. My dining pal ordered an onion bagel, plain cream cheese with a great coffee. These bagels WERE absolutely the best!!! I have never had a bagel that was so light, airy, fresh and just wonderful. No hockey pucks served here!!! You can also watch the guys fiddling with the dough, doing what they do as well as watching another guy putting the bagels Into and taking them out of the oven. Talk about fresh!!! The crowd was mixed which is always wonderful and makes for great people watching. The location is great, right in downtown St Joe. We would love to come back in the afternoon and try the sandwiches sometime. Oh, I asked if they could do a decaf, two-pump iced vanilla… pretty darn good! Enjoy!

The club panini and potato salad special was great! This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. They make their own bagels, which double as breakfast and lunch with a few additions.

I go to the Broad Street Café about 3 or 4 times per week for lunch. It is excellent. My favorite is the Club Panini. I also get the red eye which is two shots of espresso with coffee. The prices are good and the owner and staff are great. If you would like to have a good time, good food, and good atmosphere… go to the Broad Street Café, you be happy you did.

Very cool café in St. Joe. The owners opened the café after hours on a Friday night for me so I could have an after engagement party. I was able to put in an order of muffins and cookies that they personally made fresh for my friends and family. Broad Street Café is one of my favorite cafes in the area. Their coffee and baked goods are worth the visit. Thanks for everything!

Very nice place for bagels. Was positively surprized by the quality and service. It was a good friends’ recommendation and we glad we went. 5 min walk from the beach, a great location. Come early!

–I have been eating/taking out from here for quite some time now, and really enjoy this café spot, they have delicious croissant sandwiches for breakfast or lunch which I recommend highly, their bagels and un-comparable in the area. –Usually they are very speedy in making and getting food to the customer, I walked in the other day with a line of about 15 people and from the time I walked in until the time I walked out with my food was 5 minutes tops. On occasion you may find them a little understaffed which can slow things down, but for the most part they are on point especially for the young crowd they have working the place most of the time. –There are two reasons to which I gave them a 4 star rating and not a 5. The first is because as a café spot, ambiance for me is key, Broad Street Café has great potential, set in an old fire station the exterior is perfect for something special, the inside however which is where one could sit and do work for long periods of time, is very lacking. The original brass fire pole is still intact which is awesome but the ambiance is too commercial and falls extremely short in my eyes. The second are the hours being open at 6:30am is an awesome thing, but closed at 3pm is waaay to early in my opinion, and this place could be such a great hang out coffee shop if they would just stay open later. –All in all though if you are looking for an early breakfast a great brunch/lunch spot, a chill morning/afternoon workspace, friendly and pretty speedy service, Broad Street Café is a great spot to check out in downtown St Joe.

Is there anything better than a soft, fresh garlic bagel with cream cheese? Maybe so, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like it. BSC’s bagels are always nearly perfect. If you’re lucky enough to stumble in when a batch is fresh out of the ovens, so much the better.

This is a great little downtown lunch spot. I had a wonderful tuna croissant ½ sandwich and stuffed pepper soup. A perfect afternoon bite. The servers are lovely and the menu looks to be super fresh and super healthy. I love being able to find great sandwiches loaded with good veggies.

Really good spot. Great bagel sandwiches that are reasonably priced. Super fast and friendly service. Had BLT bagel sandwich and turkey bagel sandwich. Good lunch specials at a good price. Menu on Unilocal is not correct. No fried foods or wood fired pizzas in the place

We had lunch there on a recent Sat. afternoon. The food was okay and moderately priced, but the behind-the-counter operation seemed disorganized. There was only one or two people ahead of us in line when we arrived, but it took at least 15 minutes for us to get as far as the cash register, and this was for simple items off the menu. Even then, we had to take a seat and wait for them to bring out half of our order. One of our party’s sandwich did not arrive until the rest of us were nearly done eating. They were not short-handed, they just lacked coordination or motivated supervision.

Owned by local hard working family. They make their own bagels fresh every day. If you get a bagel at Café Tosi it came from Broad Street Café. They make a spinach and feta bagel that is awesome. I am so spoiled I can’t even eat a Lenders or similar. I don’t usually stick around to eat at the restaurant. Any of the other food that I have tried was basic restaurant supply like they just opened the can and served.

Great breakfast/lunch spot. Good sandwiches, wraps & pannini’s. Neat décor for what use to be part of the old city fire station.
