It is not often that one goes into a small town and finds a gem like this! Friendly and accommodating staff, great food-breakfast or lunch, tea or coffee and. Their sandwiches are delicious, as are their baked goods. Geschenk has a diverse drink menu; I had a superb affogato. When the Rails to Trails is completed down the street from here, this will be a great place to stop by for refreshments. As it was, I rode into St. Joseph from Urbana, IL via bike and was thrilled to find this place, which I could see was popular with the locals. There is also a lovely attached gift shop next door.
