My 93 year old grandma went to Kim for her acute hearing loss. Kim took the time to listen and made sure she was fitted with the best hearing aids. Kim was very accommodating to have grandma back multiple times to adjust and make sure they were set correctly. Kim is an excellent audiologist and has years of experience. Grandma HIGHLY recommends her!

As a person who suffered profound hearing loss after a car accident about 15 years ago, Kim Fishman has helped me more than anyone else — including audiologists at the House Institute in LA — finding the right hearing aids and artfully programming them. Kim is smart, tough, kind and empathic. Her office is a welcoming place that doubles as a kind of café and community center for people with all kinds of hearing loss. My partner came along to my last appointment with Kim, and after this session we both understand better what the other is going through in having, and living with, profound hearing loss. My 14-​year-​old son does not enjoy medical appointments (who does?). His multiple disabilities make him hard to understand, which I why I chose Kim Fishman (my cousin) to help him choose hearing aids. I knew she could work around his disabilities to give him a «voice» in what he wanted. She is gentle, funny and not beyond singing a silly song to make him laugh. She is also careful and precise, making small changes to the hearing aids to make them so comfortable that he actually asks to wear them.

I noticed Chears Audiology while driving my daughter to school one day so I decided to stop in. For years I’ve responded «What?» to so many people. Once engaged, I’ve been fine hearing them, so I’m not a complete loss. I was welcomed with a smile by Kim, who was reading and having coffee. The office was warm, welcoming and beautiful. She poured me coffee and we sat and discussed my concerns. The whole experience was wonderful, and I’m thrilled to have stopped in.
