I’ve only experienced average service here after multiple visits. The prices are a bit steep and the help is sometimes aloof. The selection of products is decent but they’re frequently out of stock on soil mixes. The knowledge level of the staff seems average. I would rate it higher if the prices were more competitive and the selection of products/​knowledge were more avant-​garde.

This place is kinda hard to find… it’s on the loading dock side of the building at door 25 and is basically a warehouse. Has the potential to be creepy, but is decidedly not! The employee I talked to was very knowledgeable about gardening. I talked extensively with him about pest control, square foot gardening, and so on. They have massive amounts of supplies for the urban and/​or hydroponic gardener, and grow lights set up around the store with some beautiful, healthy plants! They told me in about two weeks they’ll have stockpiles of compost coming in at a great price. I can’t wait!
