Update! Spent three hours too long curriculum planning on my front lawn! Even though they were closed yet again, they managed to stay open so I could grab an aloe plant! I love these folks!

We had them do our flowers for the wedding and we were impressed the entire way through the process. For the moment we met they tried to understand exactly what we were looking for and our different constraints (money and effort from our side). They took the lead throughout it all and helped create a magical wedding, thank you so much for being fantastic through everything

Five stars — Absolutely! Robin and her staff did an incredible job. My bouquet, the arrangements for church and the tables at the club were spectacular. We received so many compliments about the flowers. I would highly recommend Fleur De Lis. Their flower choices and creativity were exceptional. It is very obvious that Robin has many years of experience and she was a pleasure to work with.

I came in the Friday before Mother’s Day and the shop was empty. Looking for someone to help I had to go to the back room myself where a flustered employee told me to stay out because it was crazy with orders. The staff was helpful, but was obviously frustrated helping a single customer instead of putting orders together.
The first thing I noticed was that very few flowers were actually put out on display. You had to have a lot of your options explained to you, which is both time-​consuming and inappropriate given the visual nature of flower selection. I suspect this is intentional, creating a sense of mystery and secret knowledge around the flowers to justify a high premium on «expert» knowledge.
The pricing could also be better managed. I was asked first «how much do you want to spend» before I actually picked my bouquet or the number of flowers. Then I was given a final price that was heavily inflated by a «labor» fee putting the the bunch together, as well as the cost of a vase. Bottom line; about $ 45 for six flowers with some filler plant.
I had to really advocate for myself in refusing the flower bundling and the vase, and ended up with six plain flowers in tissue paper without even a packet of plant food. The final bill was near $ 20, so I ended up paying around $ 3 a’piece for daisies.
Overall the flowers are very nice. The customer support is ok, but you really need to ask questions and fight for what you want to keep the cost down. Come on, a $ 5 – 6 labor fee to slap some filler in a bundle and tie it with ribbon? You may also need to intrude on the back area to get someone to come out and help you, and they may not be too happy doing so. Finally, the cost is very high, making this store prohibitively expensive.

I needed a really nice wreath for a funeral. I thought I would go with a local florist with a high Unilocal rating. What a huge disappointment!!! I should’ve gone with a national chain. My mom used Conroy’s and got a wreath that was twice as nice at a lower price than Fleur De Less. When I called to voice my disappointment, Robin offered and (I assume) gave me a 25% discount. The money was not the issue. I was looking for a heartfelt apology. Instead I got a «geez not another complaint» attitude.

My girlfriend was thrilled with the arrangement, as we’re all her jealous co-​workers. The pictures she sent me show an abundance of flowers that exceed the advertised example. She said the fragrance filled the entire office to the delight of all. There are an abundance of florists in the Twin Cities. But quality and value like this are rare.

Robin and her team are exceptional at arranging flowers. They did a spectacular job with my wedding flowers (bridal, bridesmaid bouquets, flowers for church and reception etc).
They have an eye for color, texture, variety of flowers and how they work together to create a visual feast for the eyes!
There is no florist with better taste and style than the team at Fleur de Lis!
It’s a locally owned, gorgeous shop and you’d be a fool not to use them!

We have ordered fresh flowers, dried or silk arrangements, and special occasion bouquets from Fleur de Lis since 1984. We love the design work of Robin and her staff. The flowers are fresh and of the highest quality. Whenever we give the gift of flowers, the recipient always is impressed with the unique arrangements of Fleur de lis. We also use them for our office once a month plant program.

Cuuu-​ate. I moseyed over here after lunch at Bön Vie (it’s connected) and it is a rather precious little flower shop. They have a selection of cards, candles and other small gifts as well, but nothing that really stood out for me in terms of merchandise or the arrangements I saw. I don’t mean this in a negative way, but I think Fleur De Lis it might be more to my mom’s taste than mine. I think it’s just a difference in style.
When I came in, one of the ladies came out from the back to say hi, but went on her way when I told her I was just browsing. It seemed like a nice, low-​pressure atmosphere that’s helpful, but without eyes following you all over the place. I liked that.

Great place for a guy to go to that has no idea about flowers (like myself). I go in and they ask me what I want and I say «no idea», they ask me the occasion and price range and then put together a great bouquet evey time.

This is one of the few independently/​locally owned and operated flower shops left that has style. They do an excellent job creating unique and beautiful arrangements for all price ranges (and they are fast too). I have never been disappointed after years of ordering flowers from them. Furthermore, the shop itself is cute and a joy enter.
