I’ve been coming here for a long time and absolutely love it. House made dressings are to die for!

I visited Panino’s over the summer and do not plan on going back as long as I’m the one making the plans. The waitress was rude and extremely slow. Drinks were not kept full, orders were not taken promptly and the check was not brought out in a timely fashion. To make it worse, the place was not even that busy, so there was no obvious reason for this waitresses flaky, rude behavior. The food was okay, nothing overly special or tasty. But I would give the food four stars as it was prepared fresh and with quality ingredients; however, the service made my rating of this place dive. I’ll pass. If I’m going to a local place and perhaps paying a bit more because it’s not a chain, I expect service that is at least as good as Applebee’s on a bad night, and I did not get this.

Over the past couple of months we have been ordering take out pizza from here which is now my local favorite. We dined in with a larger group on a busy Saturday evening and what impressed me the most was the awesome service we received from the moment we arrived. Our server(sorry forgot your name) was on top of everything and I loved seeing the owner/manager was just as involved with the entire restaurant. Prices were accurate and the food is good!

Buffalo chicken is on point! The pizza is also very good. I’ve had several of the paninos, but the buffalo chicken is out of this world.

Great atmosphere! Lots of $ 10 sandwiches to choose from. Amazing sports memorabilia! Fine, courteous service. Happy hour is drinks only(no food specials).

The food is ok at best and service is ok. I never really understood the fascination with this place. I have given it several tries and it has never been great. Definitely«Minnesota Italian» and maybe that’s why people seem to love it. I personally think the food and sauce is very bland. I would never bring my Italian relatives from the east coast or parents here because I know what their reaction would be.

I have been to this place many times! They have amazing food. Always quick to seat, but depending on the day you may have a slower server than others. They still all have a good attitude, which is nice. The wall decorations inside are also super fun to look at. If you’re looking for a fun family owned place, this is the place to go!

Delicious food, fantastic service, nice place to have a quiet booth privacy and quick service. Very pleased with sauce flavors on the wraps. Will be back

Stopped in here for the first time over Easter weekend. Even though its only based on one visit I’m not sure if I’ve ever experienced nicer staff at a family restaurant. Even the teenage workers were helpful and polite and seriously, whens the last time that happened across the board anywhere? The food was decent too. This kind of food isn’t exactly what I crave, we came here because a family member likes it, so its a little harder for me to give it good marks but here it is, I’m giving them. I had a philly flatbread like concoction and I was pretty happy with it. Obviously not a real philly so I’m not going to hold it up to that benchmark, but it tasted good and there were multiple flavors going on and combined nicely so I was good to go. Everyone got flatbreads in my party and there weren’t any complaints. All in all this seems like a pretty good place.

Swung in here last Tuesday to catch the Wild game with the girlfriend. She loves this place for a quick late night bite and one that includes quiet seating or bar seating if the Wild are playing. Hard for me to pass up this opp to try one of her places, and catch the game. The seating areas between dining and bar are very segregated so there is no noise carry over between the two, for those that want to eat in peace. Service in the bar area was a-ok. No complaints what so ever. Both of us ordered a panino, a grilled pressed wrap for those wondering what the hell I’m talking about. I went with the steak and cheese: steak strips, swiss, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, lettuce, Panino’s steak sauce. Ashley went with the BBQ combo: Roast beef, ham and chicken, swiss, cheddar and Panino’s tangy BBQ sauce. Both of us opt for the Caesar salad, which is a standard side item and not an up charge. Very nice touch. Not much of a wait, which was great considering we both were famished and the game was at intermission. They come out, and everything looks solid. Everything isn’t oozing out of the pressed wrap, which is great. It’s all pretty stuck in there thanks to the copious amount of cheese. The cheese flavors aren’t overwhelming, and the sauce isn’t either. You can taste a little of everything, which is great for a wrap. It won’t win any culinary awards, don’t get me wrong. But, for a quick, bar food-esq dish that is satisfying and hits the spot, this will do. In eating a lot of her tangy/sweet bbq wrap, talk about solid. Very good sauce that doesn’t overpower things, and allows you to taste everything in there too — which there is a lot going on. Overall, I’d say the food is a 3, but solid service in a busy bar area gives it a 4th star. Solid place.

Growing up in the area, I have been to Panino’s numerous times. It always comes as a surprise to me when I meet people who have not been. For the best meal start with an order of Panino’s fries(they are amazing mini breadsticks). Then, have the Ranch Panino with pasta salad as a side, and to finish off the meal right, you MUST have a slice of Mudpie – it’s unbeatable!

Was in town visiting my ailing grandmother who lived around the corner. Ate at Panino’s three times in 4 days(once was takeout). Enjoyed the Greek Salad, Buffalo Chicken Panino and Mediterranean Panino. Would highly recommend the chips as your side.(I am usually a very healthy eater— this was the perfect comfort food when it was needed!) Besides the food, the service was warm and friendly. Tara, our waitress both nights we ate in, was kind, efficient and made the experience fantastic! Sit in the bar area! Thank you Panino’s!

I assume the folks who rate this place highly don’t ever eat real Italian food! My salad arrived with such anemic looking tomatoes I thought they were tomatillos. They were on top of chopped head lettuce — Unimaginative at best. The spaghetti noodles were dried around the edge of the bowl indicating they were sitting a long time before sauce was applied! The sauce was thick and devoid of any Iralian flavor unless ketchup counts! Yuck!!! By-the-way — NO wifi! Prices based on quality? Very high! Prices based on quantity? Okay. Service? So so. Will I come again(live 2 miles away)? NEVER!

If you are looking to see if you should eat here, you must. The food is delicious and you get plenty of it. A very cozy restaurant with a fun selection. Our servers have always been delightful, and the prices are reasonable for how much food they give you. One of my favorite spots in town!

My mother and I had ordered some food to go here. Never have I paid 24 dollars for the worst food ever. My mother ordered some sort of wrap that came with chips. The chips were bagged, something super simple that you could buy at Sam’s Club. The wrap was so entirely greasy that the to go container was lined with it. If you tilted it to the side you could even drink the grease like it was soup. Also because it was so greasy, the tortilla the wrap came in was soggy on the bottom. It was falling apart and when you bit into the wrap grease would surely go down your hand and forearm. I ordered a pasta dish that was apparently for 2. But honestly. It was just for one. The dish was so small. I don’t understand how they could even say that it serves 2 people. Also, it’s just simple boiled noodles that were probably pre boiled at the start of the day, open a bottle of pasta sauce and mix in some ground beef. Wala. That’s what you get. It came with garlic bread that wasn’t garlic. It was simply just butter. And then a small salad that was just pre bagged lettuce that they threw together. Honestly. I would never go to this place ever again. The décor is weird. But also, there wasn’t any sense of acceptance of other cultures. I came in just to pick something up to go but I already felt excluded. Bottom line: The quality and quantity of food here is pretty poor, and extremely over priced for what you get.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Décor is kitschy and a bit worn but that is part of the charm. The paninos aren’t going to knock your socks off but they are tasty and there are enough variations so almost anyone can find one that suits. Save room for the mud pie — YUM!

Food passable. Service good. Atmosphere, they should have used someone with style to decorate, it’s pretty bad. Weird. have bottles of many varieties of hot sauce on display but when we asked to bring some to our table we were told they don’t have any and those bottles were the owners personal collection. Really!!! Also heard from a neighbor whose child worked there, kids aren’t given regular breaks and never paid for over time. The owner is a cheapskate.

The food at Panino’s is pretty decent. The homemade chips are quite good. The atmosphere is ok. The service is alright most of the time as well. The beer selection again is alright. A lot of okays and alrights for this restaurant. Will return but nothing to write home about.

I’m going to be the lone grouch here, but we really didn’t think Panino’s was as amazing as the other reviews say. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant enough, but I did not think the food was very flavorful. I got the spaghetti bake panino which was– as you might imagine– tomato sauce, cheese and LOTS of spaghetti in a calzone like shell. There wasn’t a ton of flavor, and my wife agreed. It’s worry trying because maybe it’s your thing, but it wasn’t for us.

I eat here quite often because it’s close to home, cheap, and the place looks real nice on the inside. As for the food, I hate to say it, but it’s all mediocre. First of all the pita-wrapped sandwiches, which is all of their sandwiches, are lacking in any bold or spicy flavors. The beef in these things looks and tastes like lunch meat from Cub. Get one with ranch or bbq or Caesar dressing and it will be real drippy and messy. The veggies are also not typical restaurant quality in my opinion. The chicken is cut into squares and falls out of the wrap. If you choose chips as a side(you can get potato or pasta salad too I think), you’ll be getting a few frito-lays or something similar. The soup(chicken tortilla) is also just ok. The salads, while nice and big, are also very grocery-storish. The pastas are ok, but the red sauce has no spice. Meatballs are average in size and flavor. Not much meat or mozzarella on the lasagna. Forget seafood, because its not on the menu as far as I know. Now I’m not saying its horrible… or even bad, it’s just ok. At least they don’t overcharge, and the service is always good. I’d say take the significant other here or have some drinks with the buddies, just don’t expect it to be your favorite restaurant.
