I decided to try out fitbody while in St. Paul for work. We went through 5 stations 4x. Each station incorporated cardio and strength training. It was a great workout and I’d recommend it to anyone! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

This is a really fun workout place. There is such a diversity of exercises within the routines that you never feel bored with the workout or like your arms are going to fall off because you’ve maxed out on one muscle group, but when you’re done you’re sore all over(in a good way). One thing I like is that the trainer is really good at showing different modifications so that all ages, and all fitness levels can get a tailored workout. I went in there thinking I was in pretty decent shape only to have my butt kicked. Plus the trainer shares my name so that’s cool. The only cons are that the place is a little hard to get to the first time and lacks a little in ambiance, but those issues are small because it’s the real deal for workouts.

Really fantastic workouts! I’ve tried different gyms and have enjoyed boot camps in the past with a similar format at Corepower Yoga and Lifetime Fitness, but this is an even better workout for WAY less cost. I’m constantly challenged and since I know it’s only a 45 minute workout I find it easier to push myself. I like that Jay(the trainer) switches up the exercises everyday making the workouts fun and effective. I actually look forward to working out. It’s very easy to modify at first or use lighter weights and then increase the intensity as your body adapts. It’s a very non-intimidating and welcoming environment and there’s no extra«fluff» — you just get in, get your work out done, and go — I like how we just get down to business. And If you go before 8am or after 5pm parking is super easy to find and it’s free meters during those times. I did come once at 11:30 and could still find parking pretty easily but had to pay the meter.

Signed up for 3 more months. The work outs are addicting. So fun, challenging, sweat-inducing. Average heart rate for 35 minutes is near 155 and calories burned near 400… I wear a Garmin fitness tracker. I see and feel myself getting stronger and reshaping my 44 year old body.
