Stopped in for subway today during the lunch hour. Was having a crabby day and these sandwich artists(i believe that’s their position title) were fantastic. I had questions about new menu items and she was patient with me and encouraged me to try something new. I was ordering a sandwich for someone else and was annoyed to be talking the order over the phone. The girl who helped me kept saying«no problem, we got this!» they were so nice and friendly, they managed to cheer me up. I experienced some poor customer service while out shopping right before stopping into subway, and was so impressed with the two working and making my order. Food was consistent with any subway i have ever had, and i was glad to order something besides my usual. Five stars for excellent customer service!

I am not a big fan of Subway, but in the kingdom of Subway stores, this one is the village idiot. The store needs to be kept more clean, and the food quality doesn’t seem to keep up with other stores. Not sure why but it seems like the vegetables here aren’t fresh. Also the staff is among the least friendly that you’ll find. Not sure what happened because the people’s work there used to seem very nice. Not anymore. You’re better off spending your money someplace else.

Maybe it’s a generational thing that kept these greedy corporate fucks in business all this time. When they first opened, you got an over-stuffed, delicious sub. Give them the business that makes them billionaires. What is your thank you? A thin spread of tasteless tuna or crabmeat, that doesn’t cover the bun. I don’t think the bun is the same fresh one either. No wonder the fat fuck, Jason lost 100 pounds eating here. It’s easy when there’s next to no filler. Somehow, they’ve lured people like my son 22 years later into being loyal customers. I guess folks want a sub shop and will take whatevers given, including no quality or quantity. I don’t know whether it’s good or bad, that I’ve once known what a sub was.

This place is a little hectic and the staff doesn’t seem to always be on the ball. It’s a Subway, so don’t expect 5 star gourmet. There is usually a long line consisting of old people who have no idea what they want and really loud college students from either UST, St. Kate’s, or Mac. Their parking lot is ridiculous. I don’t know why they even bothered. You legally can’t get to half of it without going around the block and coming in through the alley.

It’s a Subway. However, this subway is within striking distance from two colleges. This makes for interesting times occasionally in the nexus between Saint Thomas, Mac, and the local kids hanging coming out of the movie theater. So have a sandwich made by some teens that would rather be somewhere else being emo and enjoy the show. Also a favorite cop-stop. Maybe they give them free cookies or something.
