The Recycle Kings

We recently hired them to clean up a yard and dispose of all of the leaves. Al quoted me $ 75 an hour, and I said that was fine but I wanted the whole job done in 3 hours. He agreed and said he would be there and there would be three men total. He arrived with himself, his wife, and their two children to do the job. After three hours, he came to the front door, said they got as far as they could, and handed me a bill for $ 225 and said they wanted another $ 75 an hour for two more hours to finish. I told him that was unacceptable and I would not pay him for the service he didn’t complete. We offered him $ 180 to take the leaves he did do and go. He took the $ 180 in cash from us, and he and his family proceeded to take all the leaves in their truck and throw them into our driveway and then drive off.
