Pretty great! Really good place for designs. Cleanliness could be a little better, but it’s not bad. Quick, detailed service. It’s the best place to get your nails done in St. Paul.

The only reason I’m giving this place 2stars is because they were able to get me in right away all I came for was a polish change on my natural nails
This place is absolutely gross I would never ever put my feet in the open in that salon because it’s just screams toenail fungus
The lady at the front isn’t exactly welcoming and the guy who repainted my nails rush through it and then charge me $ 18 for a simple gel polish change no manicure no nothing
And the nail polish that he used was a sally Hansen brand so be careful about if you were actually getting the full gel polish like you should be
I get a better deal out in the suburbs

I started Unilocal to be honest with my reviews & help others in search for good service, food, products & advice.
That being said I’m not a big fan of TJ Nails, but I continue to go here for my eyebrows & without spare Lisa never seizes to amaze me!
Today I wasn’t seen, but my sister was. She doesn’t have much for eyebrow hair & after I pointed Lisa out she worked her magic on my sis. Eyebrow Art! She deserves 5*****
Now, Now if you are even the least bit snobby, high maintenance or impatient keep truckin’ this spot ain’t for you! With half drank Wendy’s lemonade cups, empty water bottles, unattended company products & trash spread everywhere; 98% of the time I’m on the run for hand sanitizer after I leave, but not without my perfected brows!!! Sometimes a girl has to do what’s necessary & believe me I’m amongst many other loud talking, pajama wearing mamas with their kids running around.
Don’t be afraid. See Lisa. Run fast for sanitizer. Then enjoy the compliments!

I give 2 stars because I get in to see the same guy regardless how busy it is. When he sees me, im next up. He knows im a great tipper so it should be that way. But this is not the cleanest place and there is one male worker that is very touchy feely… Hes touched my butt on more than one occasion. Once he did my pedicure because there was no one else to do it, and he kept mentioning how he liked to pay for sex … He didnt know how to do the whole gel nail regimn, and I believe I was over charged for the pedicure. This place should be shut down, but I continue just to go for one person. Who drops everything for me. Not a good place to go on the 1^st or the 15^th, a lot of welfare baby mamas, and ive seen fights and walkouts without paying happen… Three ring circus to say the least. If they cleaned it up and did some remodeling it would be soo nice, but the truth is people go there anyway so they probably wont be making changes any time soon.

I can NOT say enough bad things about this place to explain how absolutely terrible it is!!!
I walked in there today (for the very 1^st time) which will also be the last time! It was NOT clean at all! Nail clippings all over the stations. Not just from the last person, it looks like they never clean up!
I was given a gift certificate to this place and that is the ONLY reason I went there.
There was a bunch of «employees» lingering around and not many clients, should have been a sign.
One of the employees asked what I wanted and I said a pedicure. So she told me to pick a color. When I said I wanted a French she said it would be 5 $ more. Which I had no problem with. Then she walked to the station and another girl stood up and was going to walk me to the chair. Another one of the ladies said that they could not accept my gift certificate because it was expired. However there is NO expriation date on the certificate. So then she said she would have to call a manager. So she got on her cell phone for a minute while I waited. In the end she said it was expired and I should have been told.
They didn’t offer to do anything about the fact that I had a gift certificate that someone paid them for and now they were refusing to honor it.
I used my iPhone to look up the laws about gift certificates and the expiration date on them which led me to the Attorney Generals office. I called the number attached and spoke to them about the situation and was informed they can not sell gift certificates and say they expire. I was given the information to file a complaint against them which I fully intend to do. Although I seriously doubt it would do any good!
They are rude, dishonest thieves at this crappy ghetto strip-​mall nail shop!
I do not give them ANY stars! I’d say they are the WORST nail shop I have ever gone into!!!
Don’t waste your time or money.

WORST NAIL SALON EVER!
I wish I could give this place a negative amount of stars for lack of cleanliness, poor service, and price.
First, there was a male attendant who was assigned to my manicure and pedicure. He spent the whole pedicure fighting with his colleagues in another language about money, and barely touched my feet — including not using lotion OR base coat.
It was only when I went to the manicure table that I noticed all of the toenail and acrylic finger nail clippings all over the floor. I placed my fingers on the table, and went I looked at them, they were covered in white dust from filing other people’s nails. I should have left then, especially when he then charged $ 22 for a french manicure that he sloppy (again without base coat). Whenever I asked him for BASIC nail care (like making sure all my nails were the same shape), he gave me a nasty look, and then did the least amount of effort to address the issue. This is while he continued to start and stop the work to fight with his co-​workers.
I don’t want people to loose their ways of making a living, but the health department should shut this place down.
