I walked into this office for the first time when my wife and I took our son, Sawyer, in for his first appointment. At 3 days old, it was a first meeting for all of us, and what a first impression they made! The entire staff is extremely friendly. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctors themselves, everyone is extremely nice and informative. Sawyer sees Dr. Shiue, and now having seen her twice with his two week appointment last week, I am confident that she is the perfect doctor for him. She’s fantastic with him, and takes every question seriously, no matter how ridiculous.(believe me, we’ve asked some dumb ones!) The office itself is fairly large, and very clean. I like the fact that they keep sample bottles of lotions and other baby items in the office for us to take and try. They also keep a stash of coupons and pamphlets with information about different products, which actually are quite useful for us as brand new parents. One thing I will say, is that the office does have signs of wear and tear, but nothing to be concerned about. My wife informed me that there is a new office being built not terribly far from this one, which one could assume would be more up to date, with new furnishings and the like, eliminating the wear and tear concerns if there truly were any to begin with. In all, the things that matter most in your pediatric office are home runs here. A great staff who cares about every child that walks in the door, a clean facility, and a number of doctors on staff just in case you do need that last minute check in, St. Charles County Pediatrics has it all. They are also associated with Mercy, which for us is a plus, because medical records are all available using the My Mercy website, making it easy for our doctors to communicate between offices as needed!
