This is a great discovery. As someone with Celiac who can’t handle cross-contamination, this 100% gluten free café is a gem. Everything I’ve had here has been really tasty. For awhile, they had gelato but the last couple of times I went, they said they didn’t serve it anymore. It’s right next door to a great Earth Origins market, with a large gluten-free selection of groceries.

This is a perfect spot for anyone looking for a healthy option with a caffeine boost. The décor is rustic and the prices are fair. I’d go here 10 times out of 10 rather than Starbucks. I was also glad to hear that they have buddy brew coffee. I had a chicken sausage and sweet pepper quiche. It was a good sized slice, and it exceeded all expectations for $ 4.75. I enjoy iced coffee and normally drink it black. The server suggested that I should give the Kyoto drip a try, as its iced and best without cream or sugar in her opinion. She didn’t fail me at all. After my first sip, I started researching Kyoto drip and wondered why it had such a fresh coffee taste. Kyoto drip is a large glass chemistry set looking pouring device that is nearly 3 feet tall. Here are some of the facts that I found online; –Produces an acid free coffee –Includes permanent ceramic filter –Unique flavor not found in regular coffee I couldn’t find any reason to reduce Craft Kafé to 4 stars. It passed all of my checkpoints in regards to atmosphere, service, presentation, taste, and experience.

My son loves that he can order anything from the menu and its GF. Everything we have is always fresh and taste delicious. Thank you for making an exclusive GF restaurant. The carrot cake is so with the cheat.

The most amazing bakery I’ve ever encountered and it’s even gluten free! The bread tastes like my grandmother’s, homemade, fresh and hot out of the oven. Inviting atmosphere, great customer service and even better food.

So glad we found Kraft Café! Had an amazing gluten free lunch and a few days later on my birthday I received a gluten free angel food birthday cake. In the past things especially baked goods taste like cardboard but thanks to the willingness of the baker at Kraft I was once again able to enjoy a tasty birthday cake! Whether you have to be or want to be gluten free you have to try the Angel Food cake!

Stopped in here yesterday as we spent the morning on the beach looking for a healthy gluten free unique eating experience. Given this was our first time here I didn’t feel like the young lady waiting at the counter was neither gracious or helpful as we stumbled searching through to discover our food/drink options. With this place being only open a year one would have thought educating and warmly greeting customers would be an ideal strategy to grow your business. The gentlemen making our food was upbeat and engaging taking to us as we stood at the counter. The menu appeared to be pretty decent with the avocado sandwich having excellent flavor but unfortunately the traditional sandwich lacked similar taste. Overall I would have loved to enjoy our experience as we’re always looking for new experiences but this just didn’t hit it today for me.

Love this local, fresh, alternative to a big box coffee spot. When you walk in, the vibe is warm and trendy. Initially, you get the overwhelming feeling you’re not hipster enough to be here. As you look around, you notice the crowd is diverse and everyone is really enjoying everything they have in front of them. I really appreciate, the pride they take in what they serve– especially their coffee. I ordered a caramel latte, perfectly steamed creamy, frothy milk with the right hint of thick sweet caramel. I also had a vegan blueberry muffin, it’s sweet and comforting in taste despite being vegan. I highly recommend the baked goods. I also tasted the chocolate quinoa cupcake– moist and AMAZING! Definitely will be back again and again!

Why 5 stars? Because they combine healthy with delicious. — — — Healthy AND delicious is not an easy feat to pull off well, but Craft Kafe does it better than anybody. We hosted a Unilocal event at Craft Kafe back in February 2015, before their doors were even open to the public. From that moment, I’ve had a return trip to this place incredibly high on my to-do list… but I failed miserably at that mission. 30 miles driveway to driveway for me makes it tough, but I implore anyone reading this: Don’t be like me. Go here. Soon. And not soon like 14 months from now, soon. I enjoyed some lovely tea, an amazing cortado, and a chicken avocado cream sandwich. All 3 were absolutely excellent. The sandwich was very unique, and was definitely something I’d add to my regular diet if I lived closer. But the main event was the cowboy cookie. Myself and a couple colleagues were getting some work done, and were at Craft Kafe for about 4 hours. About 3.5 hours in, we were in the middle of a discussion, when we all just kind of stopped, because of a sudden and overpowering smell. It smelled like happiness, a child’s laughter and your Grandmother’s embrace. What in God’s name was it? We couldn’t even speak. Apparently they’d just taken their cookies out of the oven. And our lives were changed forever. After we regained the ability to speak, we approached the counter and asked what in hell it was that had just overwhelmed our lives. Chocolate chip and cowboy cookies were the offenders. I opted for a Cowboy, and all of the employees within earshot re-assured me that I made a great choice. One employee labeled the cowboy cookie as a spiritual experience. He was right. It was the best cookie I’d ever eaten. I saw Jesus.

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this spot! Ordered a Bacon, Mushroom & Swiss quiche– unbelievable! Flavorful, creamy & satisfying. I picked up 2(!!) carrot cake cupcakes to bring home for my husband and son. I hope the make the car ride home. I was a bit intimidated by the coffee bar set up/Menu. «Can I get an Ice Coffee?» I meekly asked. «You bet!!!» The gentleman behind the counter responded. He even suggested a simple syrup to sweeten my cold beverage. NICE!!! The décor is calm, inviting and clean. Can’t wait to become a regular customer.

It hurts me to only rate Craft a 3, more closer to 3.5 actually. The place is so up my alley when it comes to eating clean, healthy, and organic. There really aren’t enough restaurants of this genre in Tampa Bay. You add Coffee to the mix and you have my utmost attention. Let me start with the goods first. Though I was not in love with the Cortado, I do recall enjoying a cappuccino from Craft during their first and only Unilocal event last year.(A personal top 5 event all time btw). Food is fresh, the salads are wonderful, and the service is pretty good, they did bring out my order late and had to be reminded to bring out a cup of turmeric/ginger tea. They were friendly and courteous aside of the mishap. I got a chance to try out the BBQ duck and the Craft sandwich, neither one blew me away, I appreciate the fact that it’s fresh and healthy but I cant say the same for the cost. It just didn’t add up for me. I had been eager to stop in with high expectations ever since they opened. I loved the food that was served during the event, the gelato was excellent, and the owners made me feel right at home. My visit was a bit of s let down I must say.

I bet you Starbucks was pissed when this place opened 1 minute up the Rd. :-D :-D :-D I LOVED the vibe of this place. Even though it was extremely busy when I came in, it was still very relaxing. I don’t know how for the life of me I scored the sofa, but I did, it was such perfect timing. I just sat there drinking my perfectly made latte, and people watched. I could have sat there for a couple of hours if I was hungry, and ordered, and ordered items from their everything made in house menu, and trust me, I would have, if I didn’t eat before coming in. :-) well, I’ll be back sooner than later to do just that. UPDATE: Since Unilocal won’t let me review this place again because it has not been 24 hours, I will write it here– Did I not say I would be back? Wow, I’m really impressed with this place. I’ve developed a serious crush. If you haven’t tried this place, go in and support this local business. All their success is well deserved. I’d be spending my money in here everyday if I lived around this area. I highly recommend the Beet salad if that’s your thing:-)

Craft Kafe is an interesting restaurant with many flavor. With the restaurant next door to organic grocery store, they can get the fresh ingredients immediately. You also can eat healthy here since they have organic items. Definitely stop here for breakfast. I usually not a breakfast person but got to try their breakfast since many reviews indicate they are good. We have order an omelette and two coffees. I have the latte and my wife has cappuccino. I have ask them to decorate the cream in artist way and she did impressed me. Coffee is good and better than Starbucks. The omelette we order is the craft omelette. It come with spinach, chicken sausage, mushrooms. It accompanied with hash browns and toss. It is quite tasty. The café also have other item such as fresh squeezed juice, quiches, vegan pumpkin bread and more. If I pass by here again, I will check them out.

I loved EVERYTHING. This is a special café that excels in everything they serve and includes gorgeous décor that makes you feel at home. Their gluten free menu is amazing. I had the Mediterranean quiche with feta, spinach and cherry tomatoes and it was divine! Cappucinos are on point as well.

This one-of-a-kind spot serves fresh, tasty, locally grown and awesome food. I had a slice of feta, tomato, and spinach quiche that was a nice mix of salty and sweet, with a proper flaky crust. Plus, they serve local Buddy Brew espresso, cortado, cappuccino, latte, etc. The barista was creating works of coffee art and they were much appreciated. I look forward to returning!

My pregnant friend with Celiac and I came to Craft Kafe a few weeks ago for lunch. She was beyond excited to step into a restaurant where she could eat every single item on the menu. She ordered an omelet and a carrot cake cupcake. I ordered a salad with chicken and avocado crema(they sold out of the duck, oh so sad). After my friend enjoyed her cupcake as an appetizer… she proceeded to order two more. Oh and after she finished her omelet, she ordered a second omelet and an apple strudel. Now THAT is how good the food is! I was still hungry after my salad so I got a slice of their flatbread/pizza, which was DELICIOUS. I took my carrot cake cupcake home with me, and it was fantastic. The employees here were SO friendly, and the food was delicious(and that is coming from a gluten-lover). Only complaint was that I was still hungry after my salad. But I would definitely go back!

This place is adorable and I really respect their single origin coffee brewing commitment. I like the vibe and the music is fantastic! You can find cold brew, Kyoto brew, a tasty daily brew… Homemade almond milk… Lots of quality options. It’s a nice space the linger in or to grab and go. The food prices are, as mentioned in another review, too high. That omelette was not worth the $ 10. It could have used some garlic or an herb… A little something to give it more flavor. The place is gluten-free which is fine, but the gluten-free bread that came with my omelette leaves much to be desired. They have some vegan baked goods but I’d love to see a vegan breakfast option. Also, they need more outlets. There are just enough tables but only two really have outlet access, which makes working here difficult to do. It’s a popular place so if you want to work here and need a power source, you’re going to have to do some stalking and waiting to get a table that will work for you. The owner is very friendly, hugs the regulars, and takes pride in his place. There’s a lot to be said for that. I can tell he’s dedicated to making it great. Places like this are popping up all over St. Pete and it’s exciting to see my hometown grow in this direction… And this far down Central Ave. I’ll be back. In Miami or another hipster city, I might have given it 3 stars because of the food and inconvenient work accessibility, but for St. Pete, this western location, and the café’s smaller town feel, it’s a solid 4.

First off, I must say I cannot believe I haven’t found this place sooner, because I sure wish I had! I have been to this place twice now and when I eat here I feel classy, the food presentation is amazing. It all looks great and it tastes even better. The food is all Gluten-free which I look for in places. I have tried a sandwich on their gluten-free bacon cheddar bread, it tasted amazing. To top that meal off I had one of their Buddy Brew made Latte’s, which I enjoyed. My second visit I got one of their build it yourself omelet’s you get to pick 4 items. It looks and tastes great. The coffee art on the latte’s is really impressive. This place being Gluten-free and being healthy made food it is on the pricer side. The omelet is $ 9. However the Latte isn’t priced too bad at $ 3.75. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area, I will be visiting this place many times in the future and I think you should too!

Trendy, cozy and down right delicious. I don’t have an gluten free diet, but enjoy the food here(even if it’s gluten free!) It’s fresh and looks beautiful. I love the interior as it’s rustic yet artistic and trendy. The staffs are all super friendly and everything on the menu sounds amazing. The food is prepared for you and not prepackaged so you know you’re paying for good food. It’s kind of on the pricier side, but you get the quality you pay for. I tried the B.B.Q. pulled duck, which is a new one to me and it was yummy. The flavor was on point and it was seasoned well. The salad was fresh and just looking at it makes me feel healthy! The Apple and Yogurt pie was a little too sweet for me, but it just melts in my mouth. It’s absolutely delicious! Highly suggest Craft Kafe!

Ty Unilocal for another great find! The coffee here is fantastic, lattes, iced drinks all available and made with pride. They have many gluten and organic options The inside décor is really quaint and what you would imagine from a place that prides itself in fresh ingredients. The bakery options are very creative and all we had was fantastic. The egg sandwich on gluten free bread is definitely something I would order often. Would love to franchise and bring this place back to Dallas.

I loved this place! I had to miss out on the Unilocal event here a while back and stopped in recently for the first time. The ambiance is wonderful, the staff is super friendly, and it’s a really great option for those who can’t have wheat. I ordered a latte and was eyeballing an apple something in their case. The gent behind the counter mentioned there was a fresh apple strudel in the back waiting to be cut and I could have first dibs on an end piece or a middle. I went for the middle. The pastry was definitely the shining star of my visit. I wouldn’t call it a strudel though, because it wasn’t flaky, but rather a bit dense. Unlike a lot of GF options, this one didn’t have a weird aftertaste. The apples weren’t too sweet either. I wasn’t super in love with the coffee though. I’m not sure if it’s the beans(Buddy Brew I think… I’m sort of hit or miss with their coffee) or what, but I would probably try for something else next time instead. I would definitely come back, especially since it’s not too far from me.
